Chapter 5 - The Announcement
' Well, that's about it for today. Please submit a seven-inch long essay on "Human Transfigurations - Pro's and Con's" on Monday. I want it neatly written and NO EXCEPTIONS! Class Dismissed.' Professor McGonnagal said in her usual sharp tone. ' Ah, Mr. Potter and Miss. Evans, Professor Dumbledore wanted a list of dates planned for the Hogsmaede weekend. You are to plan it with the prefects and give me the dates, and Professor Dumbledore will finalize it.'
' Alright, Professor. 'Lily and James chorused leaving the classroom.
' So.... Hogsmaede weekend, eh? Mmmmm.....' said Irene. ' Sirius, whom are you going with?'
' WHAT? How could you even ask me such a question? I am going with you!'Said Sirius in a loud and hurt voice.
' I know Sweetie I was just clarifying it. And Remus and Amy are going on their first date! How sweet! ' Said Irene in a knowing voice which completely shook Lily. Seeing Lily's face, she winked at Sirius and he caught the thread.
' And Peter is nowhere to be found...Oh my God! ' Said Sirius in a mock sad tone.
' What's that got to do with anything? ' James asked completely confused.
Even Lily's sharp look to make him shut up didn't work.
'Well, its nothing James. They are just indirectly trying to tell you that you'll have to go to Hogsmaede alone. ' Said Remus.
'Oh! ' said James and glanced at Lily. Lily was looking everywhere elsebut at James. James heaved a great sigh....
This is going to be very hard.

After Lunch, Lily was just heading to the dungeons with Irene and Amy when...
'Evans! Hey, EVANS!' She heard a voice calling her, a voice she detested.
'What is it Snape?' asked Lily not halting to even look at him.
'Well...Its something. Can we talk?' asked Snape.
'What do you think we are doing now?' asked Lily.
'Well, I mean alone.' said Snape a bit angrily.
'Really, Snape, if you want to call me a Mudblood, you can do so in front of my friends. Either way you'll get hexed by me.' said Lily harshly.
'Snivellus! Long time no see...' Sirius' voice rang from nowhere.
The Marauders made their entry.
'Were you washing your hair all these days, slimeball? If so, I'm sorry to say it has made no change at all!' snorted Sirius.
'SIRIUS!' shouted Lily, Irene, James and Remus. Peter was standing in Sirius' shadow.
'What is it you want, Snape?' said Lily facing him.
'What does he want with you, Lily?' asked a now angered James.
'What do I want? I want nothing Potter! Who'll want anything from her? Anything from a Mudblood!' said Snape in a constricted tone.
'Call her that once more, and you're History, Snape!' James bellowed making a move to hit him but was stopped in time by Lily.
Something seemed to have angered Snape and he just moved into class without another word.

'Severus! Where are you going?' asked Kenneth Mackenzie.
'You know where to, Kenneth. I told you about my plan,' said Snape in a deadly voice.
'What! At this time!!! You know Evans, Snape. She'll hex you if you go now. Take it cool. Accomplish your plan tomorrow.' said Kenneth.
'No! I can't! I have to go now. It's nearly time for her to end her patrol. Moreover I don't want to do it with all her so-called friends and blood traitors around.' said Snape.
'What about now? You know whom she's patrolling with. James Potter.' said Kenneth his eyes widened in shock.
'James Potter, is like a fly. He is insignificant without his tails.' said Snape.
'Don't kid yourself! James Potter is the most dangerous person to you! And this has got to do with Evans. So, he is the most dangerous thing around.' said Kenneth.
'Maybe. Yes. He is dangerous. Very dangerous. But I can take care of him, You can go to sleep now.' Said Snape.
'I warned you Snape! All the Best!' said Kenneth as Snape moved out through the door, with a last smirk. In a snap, he was out.

The morning's uneasiness had abandoned both Lily and James (to their relief), by the time they reached Patrol. They talked as usual about everything that popped up, with the usual inferences made by small arguments and bickering. The night patrol was about end when something unexpected came up in the form of...
'SNAPE!' said James striding along his wake to meet his arch enemy - SNAPE - who was just around the corner.
'What do you want?' asked James.
'Does it bother you, if I have to talk with Evans? ALONE.' said Snape coldly, looking directly at James, who immediately blanched with anger.
'Really Snape do you think I'll let Lily talk to you?' said James in a silent voice that scared Lily.
'James. I'll talk to him.' said Lily quietly.
'WHAT?' shouted James and Lily winced terribly.
'I said I'll...I'll talk to him,' said Lily.
'NO!' James replied.
'We'll be just around the corner James. Nothing will happen. I'm sure.' said Lily.
'If anything does, I'm here. Give a call.' said James.
'Fine.'
And James watched Lily, "his" Lily, talk to the last person James wanted her to talk to. He watched, his hands readily clutching his wand, waiting for a signal to bury Snape.

From..... ME:
Well even though the chapter is a bit dry (Sam refuses that) it is important for the next two chapter.The next chapter will probably not have much to do with Snape and my cliff *evil laugh*.It'll be a sweet and pleasant one with a bit of romance , jealousy , anger , curiosity and a looot of James and Sirius.This is just a probability.But I can promise you that the next chapter wont have anything dark or.....greesy.And I'm going to write it right now and try to decrease the gap between my chapters......And it could be just be medium sized....
And about precaps.I am writing my chapters simultaneously as I post so that will be very difficult to do..But I'll try that for my best chapter.
And thats just abt it for now so..... plsss REVIEW.
And I want to thank Sam for returning my chapter back to me within 24 HRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 👏 👏
