Hermione or Ginny??

hermione is one of the main character, and hence we know a lot more about hermy than ginny. however, both ginny and hermy are good in their own ways, but hermy is my fav. character!

Ginny for me. I've already said that Hermione's one of my least fave characters in the series so I'd probably even vote for Luna over her even though we don't know much about Luna. Come to think of it, I don't feel like I know much about Hermione either.

I know what you mean. Even I felt that JKR has given us much more information about Harry and Ron than Hermione. (Like their families, we know practically nothing about Hermione's muggle life or even her parents). Also, we got to know Ron's insecurities when he faced the locket, but JKR gave no glimpse of what insecurities Hermione might have faced when she was destroying the Hufflepuff cup in the Chamber of Secrets. Likewise, even Hermione's feelings are kept hidden most of the time.
