I personally feel that Virat does not love Sai at all. He might be attracted to her, but I don't think he loves her. And whatever he feels for her is love, it is definitely very conditional. According to me, you can never wholeheartedly love someone without trusting them, respecting them and being honest with them. And Virat definitely doesn't trust, respect or be honest with Sai. I personally feel like his idea of love is completely twisted, and very very selfish. He will be in love with her as long as she does something good for the family and keeps up the act of being a good bahu. But the minute she does something that doesn't fall in line with his feelings, he loses it.
And for those who say that he immediately repents all the wrong that he did to her, what is the use of crying over spilt milk? When he is so aware that Sai can never do something that will bring harm to people or ruin someone's life, why can't he give her the benefit of doubt? And personally for me, even during the anniversary drama, I didn't like that way Sai belittled his efforts by creating a fire out of smoke, but her reaction was also valid. Virat didn't bother clearing up anything for her, but does all these things to make her feel special. What if she believes it, goes along with it and then things come crashing down? Because it has happened many a times.
And also the fact that Sai is an orphan does play a very important role in the way everyone including Virat treats her. Do you think that if Kamal Joshi was alive, Virat would dare behave with her the way he does? NO.
For me, Sai----Rat is no more. Because this relationship is just so toxic AF.
I really loved the Virat that we were introduced to, the patient, intelligent, caring, yet stern one. He knew how to put Sai in place, but without compromising on his morals and also understanding Sai's nature and her spirit. That is what made SaiRat interesting in the first place. They were two halves of a whole, two pieces of a puzzle that fit together perfectly. What was lacking in one, was present in the other. And they rubbed each other's corners off.
But now, Virat absolutely lacks morals or anything good at all. And to match his stride, they are butchering Sai's character now to make her a mellow, stupid-in-love doormat, who wants nothing but love from her husband.
And Aaba's Sai is now truly lost.
I'm tagging a few people because I would love to hear your opinion on my take, or correct me if I'm forgetting something.
Love,
Niya🤗

Adding to that, I dont see an upward Graph in Virat..I did see it in Sai when she toned down a lot of her brashness... But Virat, I dont see sadly, infact what we were introduced to, he has just gone down , down , down.. What feelings he calls love right not is nothing close to love...for me..
