Wow I didn’t even know Sasural Genda Phool had a part 2 lmao. No wonder it flopped if they killed off the heart of the show and expected people to still stick around.

Savi is literally the new Anupama now—third love, like how many times are we doing this? It’s a joke at this point. They’ve turned her into a full-blown clown. First they dumped two readymade kids on her, And Neil , about to be a readymade father. Rutu will probably fall for a single mom now too. How’s it even gonna look? Savi finally finds peace and now suddenly she’s “moving on” with Neil? The same Neil who was obsessed with Teju at first glance? Now he’s ready for a whole new love story? This right here is Sitara’s trademark formula—every FL needs to have multiple husbands, Jhanak also about to marry her third guy now.

I honestly feel bad for Param. This was supposed to be his comeback show after 4 years. He literally said in an iv that he did some web series—some didn’t do well, some didn’t even get released—so obviously he was hoping for something solid with this PH, especially after Ghum S1 & S2 being hits. And then they hand him this character? He deserved way better.

I feel bad for Sanam too. Like, yesterday he said he hopes trps go up (which,, isn’t happening), and now people were getting angry at him, making multiple posts in reddit nd X calling him a “chamcha” and "a** licker" and saying he betrayed Vaibhavi. They’re mad because he gave an interview to an Indian forum where he said the replacement was always part of the plan. But, how is this his fault? The PH told him that, so how’s he supposed to know anything different? He even said it “seems” like it was pre-planned, meaning he was just trying to make sense of the mess, makers fumbled with Gen 3. Now, they’re just using Savi as a backup. What’s the point of getting angry at him for repeating what the PH told him?

I was literally the first person here who said Mukta is selfish af. She didn’t care about Juhi at all—just wanted to get Teju married, even if it meant messing up Juhi’s life. And then Many came in like " Mukta is bichari, she’s all alone and just thinking about her daughter’s happiness”, and boom—three episodes later, she’s was actively pushing Teju to marry Juhi.I was proven right again. Smh.

Characters written by Leena honestly feel like they’re coming from someone with bipolar disorder or something, cuz nothing ever adds up. She’s so weird for always writing mentally challenged girls getting married?? LIKE WHY is that her obsession?? Thank god Aditi got saved in this show. Because in Jhanak, Ani’s older sister Appu—who’s is mentally challenged and—is now pregnant?? LIKE HOW IS THAT EVEN OKAY?! Her brain is like a child..I swear to God, Sitara needs to stop copy-pasting Leena’s scripts. She writes straight up GARBAGE.🤢🤢🤢

Exactly. Mukta is a hypocrite, full stop. I wrote in the EDT every day that she has borderline split personality disorder. One time she is affectionate towards Teju and the next instance, slaps her. I still can't stand her for always humiliating her daughter in front of everyone and slapping her at the drop of a hat. She showed a face to the Chavans and had another while talking to Teju behind their back. I remember there were people who were looking forward to her character when the season started, saying that she is very understanding. Clearly so. 🙃

As for the garbage screenplays, Leena's daytime Bengali serials from the late 2000s and early to mid 2010s are literal trash. I think Sitara has remade almost all her serials in some way or the other now, and are copy pasting it again and again to the point of exhaustion. And now she is directly contributing to the Sitara serials by writing pukeworthy scripts first-hand. She has mentally challenged people in all her scripts and triangles every-effing-where. The female leads of her serials are always annoying, screeching and have spineless men playing the pendulum. She is probably one of the women I mentioned in my original post, who likes to project her sadistic and quite mentally sick thoughts onto her scripts. Sad state of affairs.

I feel bad for Sanam too. Like, yesterday he said he hopes trps go up (which, let's be real, isn’t happening), and now people were getting angry at him, making multiple plots in reddit nd X calling him a “chamcha” and "a** licker" and saying he betrayed Vaibhavi. They’re mad because he gave an interview to an Indian forum where he said the replacement was always part of the plan. But, how is this his fault? They have gone mad. That's it. There's no other plausible explanation anyone can give. They think this is their last shot at their supposed glory so will try cashing on their smoked jumla the umpteenth time. I am disappointed with Bhavika for going in hand and saying yes to these irrational makers. She cried buckets and said the character was close to her heart yada yada and she comes back to butcher it? Makes a sad joke out of it? Compulsion can't be the case. It's just desperation. It's just plain old evil money. I am disappointed because she isn't that impoverished for work as she just gave a hit and is substantially popular enough over the Internet for a revenue/income, at least for now. Sab milkar humein pagal bana rahe hain.

Param and Sanam have no other option but to comply with what the channel and production house, sorry, Ganja Warehouse has asked them to do. They did deserve something way better for one was a debutant and another an experienced one. Especially Param who agreed to this after repeated setbacks in his career in the past few years. The man had expectations and this is what the mess ended up being. I really hope they move onto better projects where their work is valued. Same for Vaibhavi. She deserves a way better chance to polish her skills further and get to a place where her potential is valued.

You know some people defending savi's third chance at love by labelling others mysogynistic.

I would have cheered for savi had she left her second husband or divorced him on her choice because she isn't happy with him then moved on with other man.

But moving on to another man whenever her current partner dies makes her character look like a joke. Not even gonna comment on her joke of a career where she is teacher, IAS now IPS.

On neil I never had any expectations to begin with.

People who support characters like anupama and savi should really know the definition of feminism. Their characters are mockery to it.

I absolutely despise these Schrödinger Feminists and the delusional fans who think these people who make a mockery out of women under the guise of entertainment are propagating feminism, women rights and freedom. As for Savi's career, it is a whole another Ganja mess that needs a separate jokes thread.

Sorry for late reply health down thi.....

Definitely toxicity has relation with how society is framed in regressive standards and Neil type MLs aren't flavored enough for drama....But in general if I see other crafts and audience, particularly for ghum there are many points which I disagree....

See like this make Neil a very macho cruel guy trp aur gir jaayegi shift this drama to metro areas negative elements ka face badlega core nhi....

Unfortunately Neil as you said was wrong in marriage fiasco but when we see him before and after that why he didn't work whereas MLs with non sense characterization do....I feel like that shows don't work as per them or even being liked just entertained....whereas the ones admired are better versions of Neil only....Ghum hasn't flopped because of him instead FL and storyline.....

And when we see him what is there to offer other than a nibba....why he loved Teju before, why he never charged her for what all non sense she said from start....this type of stuffs matter....

PPL would have definitely loved to see side of Neil what we saw in hospital during abortion part....his core persona where he never forced himself on someone as do din ka delusion....show lacked foundation which is very important.....

And feminist aspects plus fragile masculine identity how market works etc etc is a very big topic to discuss as per interest so kar lenge baad mein.....
