Maan's constant perusal of trying to be social with her despite her rude, straightforward and negative response to bug him off !!!
but that's what his nature is. he does not mind it, instead keeps trying again and again..he would have done that even if he had not the reason to keep his mind away from the break-up.
and when I was thinking similar to what Geet said about his pride and self respect, he comes up with such a meaningful and thoughtful response about his definition of living..so an applause goes into his (and of course your/writer's) credit !!
5 rs extra for the lemon 😲 chalo koi baat nahi, in return Geet talked 5 minutes extra, which could be priceless for Maan ;)
