He saw her lost in her thoughts sensing her inner turmoil ,, she was right at her place too ,, if things wr tough to bear for him then those wr tough for her too ,, she had faced rejection nd pain from her very young age ,, it was just a start ,, he took a step to share his past nd she accepted ,, he pour out his pain nd that affect her ,, that positive response was enough for now .
Maan felt that in his pain nd anger he was pressurising her ,, he cursed himself for his behaviour ,, he made his mind to understand that there was a long way to get a place in her heart.
He made her laydown nd covered him with her blanket ,, caressed her head with a faint smile .
Maan: I m waiting nd i'll wait for that day when ur heart nd mind both allow u to trust me ,, sorry I troubled u ,, there r many things I have to bear ,, I m happy u both r in front of me .
Geet drearily looked at him tried to say something but Maan stopped her nodding his head .
Maan: don't say anything ,, u listened me , cared me, I m thankful to u ,, now sleep .
Geet: u too need rest ,, go nd sleep nd don't try to do anything stupid like u did hrs back.
Maan: sorry .
Geet: hummm,, go , GN .
Maan: sach mei jau ?
Geet: plzz .
Maan: fine , but TM i'll spend full day here , be ready to tolerate me .
Geet blinked with a faint smile in return nd yawned feeling sleepy ,, Maan smiled , closed her eyes with his hand gesturing her to sleep nd pecked her head lovingly which shudder her .
Maan went back in KM calm nd composed ,, next day was colour Holi nd specialy Manu's Bday too.
The 1st thing which all did in d morng was rushing towards OH to wish Manu nd Geet ,, Maan was d 1st who was there to wish his cuties ,, he sat near d sleeping Geet nd adored her ,, caressed back her falling hair to get her clear view then wake her ,, she looked at him lazily nd smiled like watching him in her dream .
Maan smiled: GM , nd happy holi Geet .
Geet startled nd sat in a jerk : aap ,, aap kab aaye , ya raat bhar yahin thy ?
Maan: abhi aaya but now feeling sad that why I was not here whole nyt when u hopped ,, no prob ,, today i'll do that .
Geet: why ? no need.
Maan: that i'll decide later , 1st say GM nd wish me holi.
Geet: sorry ,, GM nd happy holi .
Maan pretended to look all around : kisse bol rahi ho ?
Geet: aapko ,, aur to yahan koi nahi abhi .
Maan: mujhe laga koi aur bhi hei .
Geet: wo ku ?
Maan: mera shayad ek naam bhi hei jo tumne nahi liya .
Geet: wo ,, wo ..
Maan: shayad bahot kadwa hei bolne mei ,, matt lo ,, apni meethi chai lo mei Manu ko wish kerta hun sabse pahale,, he got up nd went to wake up Manu ,, took him in his arms nd brought him near Geet .
Maan: Manu , wake up baby , GM .
Manu opened his eyes lazily nd gave a sweet smile to Maan ,,, aaww ,, Maan kissed his both cheeks nd wished him .
Maan: happy Bday my son .. ( he pecked Manu's forehead )
Geet's heart hopped listening that , she chewed her lip supressing her emotions ,, this was d best mrng of her life ,,she felt a burn in d corners of her eyes ,, to hide d wetness she blinked swiftly faking a smile ,, kept d mug aside ,, leaned nd pecked Manu's cheek .
Geet: happy Bday my baby nd happy - happy GM .
Geet took Manu's milk bottle which Maan prepared nd gave Manu to drink ,, she was touched with Maan's care ,, he was pampering them to no extent ,, there Maan was thinking how to celebrate Manu's Bday ,, both wr lost in their thoughts when Yash nd Rashi entered there ,, both exchanged a thoughtful look seeing Maan there .
Yash: Maan u here , very fast .
Rashi: hummm ,, I think he wanted to be 1st wishing manu his Bday ,, right Maan.
Maan startled with their remarks ,, he understood what was hidden in whose words.
Maan: aamm ,, yes u r right here , any prob ? why didn't u both get up early to wish him 1st .
Yash: it's OK , but there is a lot to do,, Manu come baby , dadu nd granny r here to wish u .
Maan nd Geet got up from there places with a smile nd Yash nd Rashi sat near Manu ,, they pecked his forehead wishing him Bday then Geet wished them GM nd Happy holi .
Rashi: Geet , made tea for us too beta ,, ur uncle didn't take there.
Geet: sure aunty ,, abhi lai .
Geet went in kitchen nd all remained there ,, Manu was busy sucking his milk.
Yash: so , anything special u r doing today Mr MSK ?
Maan with lower eyes: u know , she is not accepting . it's hard to make her understand for small favour .
Rashi: we cn't even celebrate his Bday like we want ,, how helpless we r yash .
Yash looked at maan nd then at Rashi with sarcasm : this is d time to realize her pain nd helplessness,, wo bhi bahot kuch feel ker rahi hogi ? dekhna aur samjhna hum sabko hei ,, any way what is ur prog Maan for today ? we r going to club for celebrating holi with friends nd came back after few hrs .
Geet entered there with tea nd handed Yash nd Rashi : uncle i'll prepared lunch here nd dinner too.
Rashi: OK , we'll be here ,, Maan r u coming with us ?
Maan: no , u know don't like these gatherings .
Yash: as u wish ,, manu what do u want from ur dadu ?
Manu looked at Geet like taking permission to demand nd Geet hesitantly passed a smile saying .
Geet: baby told to ur dadu that u have everything , just be with u .
Manu slowly: no cal ,, one mommy ,, pleezz.
All smiled at his cuteness nd Geet helplessly nodded ,, manu nd his love for cars .
Yash laughed : Geet ur all training failed ,, OK , i'll bring a big car for my son ,, happy .
Manu: vely happy ,, mommy dadu give me cal .
Geet defeated : what cn I say sunny ..? enjoy .
Manu: dadu ,, led cal ,,OK .
Yash smiled nd give him lots of kisses : OK , my baby ,, muaahhh.
All spent some time with manu nd then went back to KM to finish their respective works ,, Yash nd Rashi came in OH to meet Geet before going to club nd Geet applied lil colour to them nd gave Manu to apply Yash nd Rashi nd told him to touch their feet for blessing ,, Manu did nd Both showered their love on manu nd Geet hiding their pain ,, they went to club with heavy hearts.
Geet got busy in kitchen nd Manu was playing with jojo I lawn ,, his nanny was on leave coz of festival ,, Geet send Satish with Manu to lookafter him ,, Geet was preparing cake for manu's Bday .
Maan entered in OH nd went in kitchen ,, his heart skipped a beat when he saw that anglic beauty .. Geet who was in white suit , her hair wr open nd she was busy with her lappy searching a design for manu's cake ,, many things related to cake wr in a tray nd d base cake was in d oven to bake. Mouthwatering fragrance was all around in kitchen ,, a sweet smile crept on Maan's face ,, he inhale d aroma of cake nd coughed to gain Geet's attention .
Geet turned nd looked at him she too felt a chern in her tummy ,, she was staring at Maan who was also complimenting her dressed in white Pathani suit ,, his soft smile tingling her heart ,, Maan redused d gap nd said.
Maan: ready .
Geet narrowed her eyes nd asked : for what ?
Maan: for holi baby .
Geet fumbled : ho holi ,, matlab ?
Maan: our 1st holi as a friend ,, see I have yellow colour of friendship to apply u.
He showed her yellow colour in a packet ,, Geet was awed at his efforts ,, he was not leaving any chance of mingling in her life nd trying to make everything special for her .
Maan: where r u lost Geet?
Geet: why r u doing all this ?
Maan: Geet I want to get those happiness which we lost ... Geet kahaty hei Holi ke din to Dushman ko bhi gale laga lete hein ,, kya mei usse bhi bura hu..?
Geet felt a gush of emotions listening his words ,, his words showing d purity of his heart ,, he was doing nd saying everything by heart .
Geet smiled nd nodded in a yes which widened Maan's smile ,, he took d colour from d packet nd applied on her cheek saying ... Happy Holi Geet .
Geet too took d same colour nd rubbed on his cheeks wishing him .
Geet: thanks , nd Happy Holi ...
Maan: Maan ,, come on ,, wish me as a friend .
Geet hesitantly : aa,, mm Happy Holi m Maan .
Maan: yiipppeee ,,, ( He hugged her excited nd she reciprocate ) thanks Geet ,, thanks a lot (it was a soft warm hug ,, both remain like that for few sec , then Maan parted contented ) nd where is my baby ?
Geet smiled : manu is playing in lawn .
Maan: Ok fine .
He went in lawn nd applied colour on Manu cheeks to nd told Satish to prepared BF for them .
Manu ,, uncle Maan ,, I lub (rub) u colol nd istish too ,, give me .
Maan gave him nd Manu took some colour nd applied on Maan's face , then on Satish nd even Jojo too.
Satish too applied manu nd looked at Maan with fear ,, but Maan gestured to go on nd 1st time he got this honour ,, he applied a tilak on Maan's forehead nd wished him holi.
Maan took Manu to KM nd both went to meet DM who was in her room nd busy in reading a book.
Maan: DM GM , Happy Holi .
Maan touch DM feet nd apllied lil colour on her feet nd then to her cheeks Manu: me ,, me..
He took colour from Maan's hand ,nd copied Maan saying .. happy ho li glanny .
Maan was smiling nd DM was overwhelmed ,, Manu's this gesture melted her heart nd she took him in her arms , showered love on him nd wished him .
DM with wet eyes: Happy holi my baby nd happy Bday ,,, god bless u all d happiness .
Manu: thanku glanny .
DM: wait I m bringing chocolates for u ,, hummm.
Manu: OK ,, big choko .
DM : OK.
Maan nd manu spent few min with DM nd then came back in OH ,, where they took their BF nd then played cricket in lawn .
