For Geet, she made a decision to play it safe. I have been there as well as I am sure most people in general.

Stepping outside of "normal" is not an easy decision, especially considering she was surprised by her mother's reaction to Raya and Raunaq. She had wrongly assumed that her parents would not understand her. If they had this conversation years before I am sure the result would have been different.

Definitely. It was her assumption and her inability to bring up this topic with her parents that her life is the way it is.

The fly in the ointment so far to me is that she considers what she feels for Maan weak. It did not seem that way to me in IOYSM. Sure it was more of him in love with her then but there were feelings from her too. But as you said, maybe the fear she had that her parents would not accept it made her more reserved.

For her to tag her own feelings as weak was in comparison to how Maan felt. She has accepted that she felt for him but it was always her thought of her parents and their opinion that kept her from letting herself realised the depth of what she felt.

I like her new modified description of him😉 Sounds much more in line😆 He has grown from a college boy to a man and she noticed it. Reminds me of the chapter on Geet in the character sketch of TL. You did not go with a blue shirt?😆 I had to get that out of my system and fast.😆

In my mind, he was wearing black (☺️) when she saw him.

Another thing that struck me was that she did try to reach him three years ago. Why only texts and calls? What happened then? She could have asked Ayush, why didn't she? More of the story will reveal this I am sure.

A point that nobody is connecting here is that she lost contact with Ayush and Anaya around the time of Raya's wedding. The conversation she had with her mother was after that. And Maan had already severed his ties with her when she left, which was three years before Raya's wedding. She had no means of reaching him after that and secondly, she was convinced it was too late. I hope the coming story will clarify things further.

Now I am waiting to see the equation between them. This looks like a 100 part FF at least to me😃

The equation between them is going to be... twisted. That's the word I can think of. And no, not 100 parts but I'm aiming for 60. Already have 40 with me so I am going to begin wrapping up now.
