Everyone was sitting around and was talking about to evening event, Geet had made her arrangements and was waited till Breej goes out and as he went out, Geet rushed down to her grand pa, "Dhar ji," Geet called as she went near him, "Dhar ji, my friend, Ranu said she is going to the festival nearby with her family, and she asked whether I can go with her, can I go with her Dhar ji," Geet asked slowly,
"Geet, today is an important day for you, so you can go tomorrow," Dhar ji said, "Dhar ji, please, you know after I get married and go out of this house than I won't get these kind of chances right," Geet said and Dhar ji nodded, "But Breej had gone out, don't know what he will say," Dhar ji said, "Please Dhar ji, please, only for once," Geet pleaded, "ok, but return so soon and call Rachi and Chotu with you, ok" Dhar ji said, and Geet smiled big, "Thank you Dhar ji,"
Geet was so happy and Rachi, Chotu, Geet went to the festival along with Ranu's family, and as they reached the festival, Geet looked around with Renu's family for a while, and Pulled Rachi's hands, and stopped her and looked at Ranu's mother, "Aunty ji, Rachi needs to see some bangles itseems, so you go around we will join you soon," Geet said, "No Geet, I will wait, if something happens to you, Breej will kill us," Ranu's mom said,
"It's ok, I can take care, so don't worry, and you go and enjoy yourself," Geet said and she send her brother too with them, and pulled Rachi and went near a small shop, "Rachi, you stay right here ok, I will go and see if I can find Balveer's friends, and I will come here right back, so don't go anywhere and be here even ok," Geet said and rushed away, "Geet di," Rachi called, and Geet turned around, "Be careful ok," she said and Geet nodded and went away,
Thought Geet came in some spirit her heart was still beating fast, she slowly, walked searching towards the crowd to find Balveer's friends, "Hey, look who is here, Breej's sister, that too all alone," Geet stopped as she heard the comment and turned around, and saw a gang of guys, looking at her and a fear surrounded her, but they were from Balveer's village, and Geet don't know whether to go and talk to them or get away,
As she was thinking those guys came near her and Geet decided to go away from there, but one guy blocked her way, "why is an hurry," he asked and Geet eyes filled up because of the fear, "please leave me alone," Geet said trembling, "Leave you, your Veer ji, don't know how many times had insulted and hurt our village people in the name of pride and prestige and today we had got an chance to teach him an lesson and we won't leave the chance," one guy said as he stepped closer,
"Please, leave me," Geet pleaded as they rounded her up, "sorry Girl, today we will destroy the pride he holds on his head by destroying you and your life, then he won't even be able to show his face in public" they said as they stepped closer and Geet pushed them and started to ran away and they started chasing, Geet was running with no idea where she is heading, all she wanted to do is get away from them, she would die but not lose herself to these dogs,
"It was all my mistake, how did I forget that these too are some heartless man, how did I forget that all guys are same," Geet thought as she ran for her life, "Baba ji, please save me," Geet ran as fast as she could and she could still hear the footsteps and she was turning weak, and she was feeling that she was losing, she stopped as she saw the open dam and she decided to jump in, as she was more scared for those guys and their thoughts, then death itself,
And she jumped into the water and as she jumped her dupatta flew away from her and she hit the water with a splash, the cold water immediately pulled her down, her dupatta flew and found Maan's head to rest itself and Maan who was standing near the dam site removed the dupatta from his head and looked around puzzled and all he saw was two girly hands waving up in the air above the water,
"Damn," Maan thought and remove his jacket he was wearing and jumped in to the water, he was swimming as fast as he could to save the life, and Geet was feeling the current of water pulling her down and she was trying hard to fight it, but the water was win and she went down more, Geet thought she is gonna die for sure and so she stopped fighting, as she stop her fight, the water pulled her down easily and she disappeared into the water,
Maan saw the hand disappearing inside the water, dived inside the water, and for few seconds, there was an complete silence, then Maan raised from the water holding Geet in his arms, he shook his head and Geet to slowly opened her eyes as she felt the sun light and Maan too looked at her, and they both got frozen there, breathing high, both of them could not believe themselves,
The anger filled eyes now filled with wonder, his hardcore face a bit light now, his body shining with the water and sun light, her scared yet surprised face and her white skin matching with the moon on the sunlight, they stood in the water as statues,

"Baba ji what will I do now, Rachi will be waiting for me, so as Ranu's family, If I didn't go on time, Breej Veer ji will kill everyone, because of me, everyone is going to suffer", Geet thought and walked slowly, not knowing which way to go,
Maan as he went and sat inside his tent, his mind was playing him the tear filled eyes of Geet, there was an urge inside him to help her, which was so un natural and her pleading echoed in his mind, and he stood up, "I hate this Girl," Maan said and rushed out, and saw Geet walking slowly looking around, "Hey," Maan's voice stopped her, she turned around and Maan went and held her hand and pulled her towards his jeep,
"Get in," Maan said and Geet was shocked by the suddenly change in this mind, and sat up and he took the jeep and drove up and Geet looked at him still not knowing what was the reason for his sudden change, "I am sorry for that day", Geet said slowly, "I was in a hurry, so," Geet said and Maan looked at her and his hard look silenced her,
After a few distance Maan stopped his jeep, and Geet looked at him "See the crowd, that's the area, go," Maan said roughly and Geet got down from the jeep, "Thank you" she said slowly, "if you really mean that then don't ever show your face to me again," Maan said and turned his jeep and went away, somewhere inside her heart she was so much hurt by his word, though she too wanted not to meet him again,
Then Geet turned and rushed towards the festival area and somehow she rounded and found the shop where she left Rachi, Rachi was praying hard as it was late and Geet could see Ranu's family too there, "Rachi," Geet said and everyone turned to Geet and looked at her shocked, "What happened to you," Ranu's mother asked looking at Geet's messy self, "o, o, actually, please, can we go home, we are late, w have to go before Veer ji comes home" Geet said hiding the facts and so everyone set towards their house,
Thank god Breej didn't get home when they returned nor there was anyone except Geet's mom, "Geet," She screamed as she saw Geet, "what happened to you," her mom asked, "Nothing Maa, I fall down, but I am totally alright," Geet said cooling her up, "Thank god, No one's in the house, they all went out, now go and get ready," Geet's mom urged her and Geet went to her room with her sister,
Thought she was speaking bravely, her heart was still feeling restless and trembling, as she entered the room with her sister, she locked the door behind and sat on the bed and her fears came out as tears, "Geet di, what happened, why are you crying," Rachi asked seeing Geet, Geet made her sit and after a few minutes, she said what happened,
"Baba ji, then how did you get out of the water, you don't know swimming too," Rachi asked, suddenly Geet's mind played her "the scene", Maan holding her and raising from the water, and her heart skipped a beat, "That Guy," Geet said slowly, "Which guy," Rachi asked, "That guy, whose jeep I hit yesterday, that Guy, he pulled me from the water and dropped me back on the festival area,"
"Oh, really, thank god, he must be a nice guy, if you see him again tell that I too thanked him" Rachi said, and Maan's words came to her mind again, "don't ever show your face to me again" his voice echoed, and Geet pain increased inside her heart and her eyes filled up, "no, let Baba ji do, that I should never meet him again, he is not a good guy, he is too as bad as others, I just hate him," Geet said and rushed inside the wash room crying up, Rachi looked at Geet puzzled, "He saved her and didi says she hates him, but why, what he did," Rachi looked confused but didn't ask for more,
Maan stopped his jeep as he saw something on the seat, it was a broken bangle piece of Geet, Maan took the broken glass piece and looked at it and his mind played him her face and big widen eyes and Maan pressed the broken piece so tight that it cut his thumb, as he felt the pain, he throw the piece away and looked at his finger and the blood pouring out,
"Whenever I see her, I only get hurt and pain, hope I won't see her again," Maan thought and went towards his camp, Geet house was so busy as the time turned four and everyone was waiting for the Geet's alliances family to arrive, and Geet's mom had made her ready and was praying that he must like Geet, "Maa, who will say no to Geet di, she is so beautiful, you see, that guy is gonna faint seeing Geet di," Rachi said,
Geet now was praying something else in her heart that the guy should not like her and this proposal must be cancel and so she can continue her studies, "Maa ji, dhar ji asked too call Geet didi and come down, they all came," Rachi said with a smile, "Geet di, he is so smart," Rachi said and Geet felt her heart busting out, "Baba ji, please help me," she prayed and went with Rachi and her Bhabhi,
