There is a town in California called Yuba City. Supposedly it has the biggest congregation of Indians outsied of India on this day. A huge number of Punjabis live there. Extremely hospitable and wonderful people.😃

It says Shrikhand-Amul ka khay hain kabhi. Its basically dehydrated sweet yougurt. with Kesar, or Elaichi, or Mango or different nuts. Yummy stuff. Yaad karke bhi muh mein pani aa gaya.😛{Yes parjai ji..khaya hai..tasty hota hai bhot..😃}

Gudhi - A bright cloth, usually saffron or turmeric colored is tied to a long stick, along with Neem leaves and Flowers and a copper pot is hung around it and the gudhi is then raised and tied to the roof of the house. It is to ward off evil.

Rest of it is just good wishes of the new year.
