I think there are some cuisines mentioned in this wish{not sure cuz of my little marathi gyan i have earned from "Pavitra Rishta"},thats why I chose this message...😆

Hope you are enjoying all the dishes that annapurna cooks in Binding ties..Yum yum..😛

PS- I am fasting today and thats why feeling more attraction towards food...😆

I know Punjabis celebrate Baisakhi a couple of days later.

There is a town in California called Yuba City. Supposedly it has the biggest congregation of Indians outsied of India on this day. A huge number of Punjabis live there. Extremely hospitable and wonderful people.😃

As for the greeting,lets see.

It says Shrikhand-Amul ka khay hain kabhi. Its basically dehydrated sweet yougurt. with Kesar, or Elaichi, or Mango or different nuts. Yummy stuff. Yaad karke bhi muh mein pani aa gaya.😛

Gudhi - A bright cloth, usually saffron or turmeric colored is tied to a long stick, along with Neem leaves and Flowers and a copper pot is hung around it and the gudhi is then raised and tied to the roof of the house. It is to ward off evil.

Rest of it is just good wishes of the new year.

She already did Di. That's the first thing you have to eat today. Pata hain bachpan mein me and bhai used to hunt for sweet stuff and leave every other thing alone in that Pachadi😆 Papa used to make us eat all that other stuff including woh neem ka whatever. 🤣

At least you guys have other things along with the bitter stuff. We used to get only Neem leaves, that too early in the morning.🤢

I used to keep it in my mouth, pretend I was chewing and sneakily spit it out.😆
