Her chain of thoughts disturbed when she heard her darji called "Geet putter, paao chuo unke (Geet, touch their feet). geet did same. Than mohindar said " chai do beta. " she did same. Mrs.K said " humare paas baitho beta " she again did same. She was just doing everything like she was some puppet. She had no thought about what if she will do any mistake. What if she slips any rule. She was not in her own . She was just lost in her sad thoughts. When she heard " Hume Geet pasand hai ".

Geet was shocked, Speechless. A alone drop slipped from her eyes but she hided it fast "Babaji mehar karna,". she thought. She was scared; these unknown people said yes, no babaji, please. don't do this, i really don't want to do this marriage, please babaji, why they said they liked me. Why me ..Please do something babaji. please" geet thought, sobbing crying in her mind but couldn't show to anyone.

Everybody was happy there except mohindar. He was afraid. He was worry about geet . He dint know anything about boy. He was not even know his full name, how he looks what exactly his business is. He dint know anything and here his little, daughter marriage was fixed. Ohh.. Now what he will do? He couldn't ask or tell his confusion to daarji. He knows daarji would not listen him. So he had only one option left. He prayed again his babaji in mind to do everything all right.

Mrs.k - daarji hame nahi pata tha ki humare bte ki kismet inti achhi hai. Geet to bilkul pari jasi hai. Beta zara mere paas aao"

Geet slowly, hesitantly went to her. Mrs.k gave her some shagun. "mohindar ji, now she is not yours, she is mine. She is my daughter" said blessing her.

Mohindar felt pain. He couldn't reply, just smiled. He knew now he had no right on her daughter., anymore. Geet touched mrs.k and mr.k feet. Even In this awful situation she did not forget her manners.

Daarji was very happy. His friend's last wish was going to be fulfilled very soon. He dint once think that how that boy would be. Would he be suitable for his grand daughter? Would he keep happy her? No..he dind think. He only knew now his and his late friend promise will be fulfilled.

Mrs.k said " daarji shadi to hum isi mahine karenge. Hamse jyada intzaar nahi hoga ab. God had given me a son now I want to be blessed with a daughter also as soon as possible

Daarji- thik hai hume koi pareshani nahi. Hum kal hi apne purohit ji ko bula kar sab pakka kar lete hai." He said smiling.

Mr.k- ye thik rahega. Said smirking to his wife.

Mrs.k- ji.. ye bilkul thik rhega. Hum bhi humare panditji se baat kar ke aapko bata denge.ab hum chalet hai.

" aree aaplog itni jaldi jaa rahe hai. Kuch chai nashta..." daarji said.

" nahi nahi.. hum jis kaam ke liye aaye thy wo to ho gaya..chai nashta to hota rhega ab" replied mrs.k smiling inwardly.

In all this three people were mute, standing there lost in their own thoughts.

Rano, dint know she should be happy or sad. Her daughter marriage was fixed. So basically she was happy But this soon she dint expected. So she was little sad too.

Mohindar was sad, afraid with his daughter future. What will happen her? Will this boy keep her happy? What if geet doesn't like this boy? Ohh babaji, please give my daughter all her happiness. he prayed.

And geet. She was not in condition to think anything that time. She was mute viewer of all this. Everything was decided without her opinion. Her maa papaji was not doing anything but she knew they were helpless. She was just looking to ground with her expressionless face when she heard her daarji said to touch their feet as they were going back.

After some time mohindar asked those leaving couple " ji woh .. ek baar ladka ladki ek dusre ko dekh lete toh..."

Mother- " haan ji kyu nahi. Wo aa raha hai parso wapas apne business tour se. Aate hi hum use yaha bhej denge. Hum aapko phone karke bata denge. Thik hai na"

Daarji- ji bilkul thik hai . hume koi pareshani nahi.

Mohindar was little relieved. At least her daughter got a chance to see her would be life partner.

At night geet was in her room, standing close to window, looking out. Tried to search something in darkness but failed. She thought her life is as same as this night was. Nothing was clear, about her future, about her would be husband. How he is? How he looks like. Will he agree for let her complete her study? She dint have any answer of all her questions. She was lost in her thought when mohindar entered in her room.

" geet beta" geet dint reply. Mohindar again called but she was lost in her thoughts. Mohindar came closer to her and tapped her shoulder slightly. Geet came back in her sense. Looked at her father and started crying bitterly. This time she couldn't stop herself. Her eyes were eager to flow all their pain just now. " papaji mujhe ye shaadi nahi karni" she was shivering with cry. Please papaji mujhe yaha rahne dijiye, aapke pass, please " her cry got louder. Listing her cry rano run to her room. She was stunned seeing this awful scene. She also couldn't stop her tears. Her husband and her daughter were crying hard in each other arm. She also joined them. No one was able to say anything. They were just crying like it was last time they had this time together. Nobody had any word to console each other; they knew they had no strength to go against daarji words. So they just cried. Cried their heart out.
