Next day, everyone was hell busy for welcoming boy and family. They were to come in evening. According darji everything should be perfect. After all it was his Izzat ka sawal. Geet was in her room looking herself in mirror. What her destiny was she dint know. She was doing what she had been told to do. She should look good, beautiful. She should be in discipline. Eyes down and do not speak unnecessarily. Only reply when ask otherwise don't utter a single word without permission. She revised all these rules one more time. However it was not new thing she had been told but still she revised. She knew she couldn't do any mistake by mistake even.

" Geet..geet taiyaar ho gyi puttar" rano came in her room for checking if she was ready or not. " haa maa" geet replied. Rano entered and stood mum. Was she her same geet. No she was not. She was else. She was looking like an angel covered in Patiala suit with golden mirror works all over it. Heavy duppatta covered her half head. A long braid of her brown silky hair looking beautiful. A thin gold chain in her neck. A pair of small jhumkis (ear rings), few bangles in her slim hand and her favourite embroidered mojri shoes. There had only kajal in her brown eyes and light lip gloss for the sake of make up. She was looking outstanding. Just beautiful.

" You are looking beautiful geet" Rano said while putting small black spot behind her ear. "Nazar na lage meri pari ko. chal beta ladke wale aa gaye hai. darji tujhe bula rahe hai"

" maa " " haa beta bol " " maa mujhe bahut dar lg raha hai "Geet said in low voice. Rano takes her hand in her and consoled her. " geet ye sab hum tumhare bhale ke liye kar rahe hai beta. aur fir darne ki kya baat hai. hum sab bhi to honge waha tere sath. chal ab der ho rahi hai ." geet nodded. They left.

Meanwhile downstairs in hall

" aaiye aayiye khurana ji .. ghar dhundne me koi pareshani to nahi hui na " . Mohindar welcomed a middle age couple who he been introduced as boy father and mother.

" aree nahi nahi bilkul nahi ji. aapko logo ko yaha kon nahi jaanta. bas ek baar me hi logo ne bata diya aapke ghar ka raasta. Mr.khurana (Boy father) replied.

Darji - please come inside." He takes them in big hall." he is my son mohindar and she is his wife rano. " ji namaste" both mohindar and rano wished.

Namaste ji" couple wished back.

" ji woh..hone wale damad ji aapke sath nahi aaye. humne to socha tha ki wo bhi sath me hi aayenge. hum bhi dekh lete unhe" mohindar questioned with hesitation.

" ji woh ...mr.k tried to fill words in his struggling sentence but couldn't.

" ji .. he was busy actually. He wanted to come also but suddenly some important issues came in business. But you don't worry. He will come once finish his work. "Replied mrs. Khurana (Boy mother) but after giving a angry eye toward his husband which gone unnoticed by everyone.

All settled down in well furnished hall. Darji started conversation." Dinanath ( darji' frend) ke jaane ke baad aaj kitne dino baad aap sabko dekh raha hu. "

Mr. Khurana- ji darji. After babuji death how time went dint even know. And now see, we are here for our kids marriage". He said smiling.

Darji- What your son do? I still remember when I and your father (Dinanath) had made this promise that we will get our grandchildren married. I am so happy today that am able to complete his last wish. Darji eyes got little wet remembering his late friend.

Mrs. Khurana- darji . he has his own business in Delhi. How much we tried to force him in our family business but he didn't agree. aap to jaante hai na daarji ye aaj kal ke bachhe. kha sunte hai humari baat.

" ji daarji. Actually he expanded his business out of India also wants to go abroad but we want him to be settle first. Ab to bas jaldi se geet humari bahu ban ke a jaye toh humara kaam pura ho jaaye" mr, khurana said.

Mohinder - ji kaam pura ho jaaye matlab.." asked with little hesitation.

Mrs khurana- aji kuch nahi ji, hum to bas ase hi kah rahe thy..ki bachho ki shaadi karke hum ganga nahaye bas. kyu daarji.sahi hai na. " said giving glare to her husband.

Darji- ji puttar bilkul sahi kha" replied with little anger to his son and signalled not to ask further.

mohindar understands his means and went out of hall. " ji mai khane ka intzjaam dekh ke aata hu." said mohinder before leaving .

Mrs. Khurana- aree nahi nahi please dont do formalities. We dont need anything now. we only want to see our would be daughter in law. bulaaiye na usse . hum bhi to zara dekhe apni beti ko.

Daarji.. ji bilkul, hum abhi bulate hai. he called rano and told her to bring geet .

" ji geet aa rhi hai tab tak chai lijiye" said mohindar." Ji woh, humare hone wale damad ji ka naam kya hai"

" Ji his name is Maa... " as mrs.k started replying but couldn't complete her word as both were gone mum looking toward stair at geet was there looking like angle.Both mr and mrs khurana gone delighted seeing her.

" lo ji aa gyi saddi geet " aa beta - said mohindar lovingly looking to her daughter who was looking no less than a pari. geet came down with shy eyes. She dint know how many people were there.. She was very nervous. She was scared. She wanted to run away from there. She dint wanted to be there in front of those unknown people who came to take away her from her own maa papaji. but she was still there, coming down slowly, going toward unknown people. She knew she had no escape. She was helpless.

Her chain of thoughts disturbed when she heard her darji called "Geet putter, paao chuo unke (Geet, touch their feet). geet did same. Than mohindar said " chai do beta. " she did same. Mrs.K said " humare paas baitho beta " she again did same. She was just doing everything like she was some puppet. She had no thought about what if she will do any mistake. What if she slips any rule. She was not in her own . She was just lost in her sad thoughts. When she heard " Hume Geet pasand hai ".
