I think I'm the only one who still sees GC as Maan, I have my own image of a wiser looking, slightly rugged yet still handsome GC. I've gone as far as to creating my own look of him 😆

I don't know why but I can't imagine Maan being anyone else but GC.

However, this isn't just with NYT but with other fanfics I read on M&G as well - I can never visualise Drashti as Geet in writing. I do at first then her image slips out of my mind & the character becomes somewhat faceless-ish. This happens when I'm writing my own stories too :(

Part 21 👏

Again, don't ask me why. Because, I don't have an answer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The one sentence stood out again, as the first time he'd read the letter, not quite fitting in with the previous or the sentences that followed in her letter, as though it was her justification to all those other occurrences that neither bore strength to attach any significance.

It had been a while since his smile had faded. All that was clear until then, seemed hazy at best.

Albeit, when he returned to the living room he was smiling again. His fallen for Geet 😃

"Daadima, didn't you want to see the fall colors? How about a trip to Central Park tomorrow?"

Daadima looked up at her grandson and blinked a few times before she answered him. "Are you ok, Maan beta? Because you don't go around making such proposals for a family outing, unless it had something to do with your work..."

he sensed that that corner of his room wasn't so lifeless after all - Geet has done wonders to Maan she's like a fresh breath of air with no warnings

This was a dreamy update H. Loved it 👏

Maan is a workaholic but seems to have time for Geet

Loved the way u wrote Geet playing with the kids, her hair flying carefree it was as if she was just like the kids, without any worry or troubles to take care of.

Very soothing update

I am enjoying this version of NYK but totally shocked at the lack of like buttons or comments whats happened to the readers have they become miser & old?

Part 23 wow 👏

The dream was beautifully written Geet has finally woken up to what's been going on indirectly she has fallen for Maan

Geet finally realises Tu hi mera naseeb hai ab yeh Mehsoos kiya hai... 😍

Geet is feeling something for Maan which she has not felt for Dev, calling him to come to NY city but will this dissipate her feelings for Maan or make her realise that Dev & her marriage is over

worry on whether it was only her body that was betrayed by her dream - Geet Mind & soul betrayed her not her body in the sense she mehsoos something which she never felt before surely this should be an eyeopening for her to realise that she has fallen for Maan

Is Maan testing her by making her work for another team so she can decide what she feels?

Loved how both never spoke or acknowledged each other in the kitchen (if i can call it a kitchen)

Geet seems confused & guilty about the dream. Dev coming over to see her can't be good, yes she is married but Maan has opened up a chapter of what loves should be or could be.

Loved how Maan observed her, went near her but did not touch her hand.

Chap 24 is depressing for Geet but as a reader I am smiling 😃

awesome parts hasini...the embarrassing position in which maan found her, with a finger stuck in her mouth, gosh isnt it very very very embarrassing one...why diid you have to put her through this...😆.anyway she mess up evrythng in front of him most of the tym,...you added one more to her list of embarassed situations...😆

glad that dev missed his flight/ whatever reasons , he is nt there around her on karva chauth...but that makes me wonder, has she kept fast for him this tym... if yes who s going to break it😉 any chance for maan this time...😳

When she lowered herself to Anshu's height, she heard her mumble once again, "I want hot chocolate...Mama doesn't know how to make it..."

aah i just loved this part...correct me if am wrong...wasnt he trying to tell her that he felt 'hot choclate' when he saw her like that??
