I DON'T think all pictures of HR suits Maan (This is this particular length alone that works. Too long he looks gay, too short, he looks boyish, the pictures from his Guzaarish role, has too much beard to suit Maan)...

Insane...I have no idea where this scene comes in, but this is what put HR into my head...

What if she didn't know him would she still be hurt with this change of person under whom she works?
I believe she would still be hurt, cause she is still a professional at heart, where she works hard and put in her 100% into her work. I think she feels more rejected on professional front vs personal. But again this is Geet of NYT, the most confused soul!

Doesn't this seem like a lie? Are you protecting your self from the lie or them?

You also don't tell people what you know, they won't understand'.
How do you know they won't understand unless you tell them?

What do these lines really mean to you? Should you question people on their perception? Should you question them on anything? Or should just accept everything that comes your way with out any question. I believe people always have a need to hear words...

Onir: Now coming to your queries... I do agree on some but will tell you what I feel...Yes indeed I do understand that professionally too she requires appreciation & the transfer might be quite disheartening... but tell me if she would have not known him on a very personal front as she knows him now, would it have hurt so much... might be she would be angry for the change & would crib about the boss as we usually do to some friend or in her case Meera But here as she knows the boss in question she is relating herself & feeling more personal about the whole stuff, as i perceive that post the dream she was guilty and trying to see physical changes in her, but then this sudden change is something which was not acceptable & also she would not be able to see him closely without making it obvious that she needs his presence.. as in professional facade she could atleast be close to him without guilt... This was what i felt... you can feel free to tell me otherwise.

Mitalee: I agree with you that she is feeling more hurt because she knows Maan on a personal level too, but at the same time the rejection was completely on professional level. At times we tend to mix professional decisions with personal. I have yet to read on Maan's perception on why he made that decision to keep her at distance, is he feeling as guilty? The attraction between both is pretty obvious and they both feel the same, it's matter of accepting and acknowledging the same. Now if they both acknowledge the attraction then they both are equally guilty; she being more guilty then him due to her married status. Maan's decision to keep her at distance was to ensure that he also stays away from her; it's all for her rather than for him. I wonder what Maan's perception would uncover...

Onir:Other two points that you've put forth I somewhat aggree yet disagree... see if the person ahead doesn;t need to kn ow it doesn;t completely mean your lying... but its in a way telling that for now you can't share it as its not always the right time to know... as time & patience makes you better reday for reception of thoughts... & better understanding. Like he did tell her the reason behind her change of reporting & hiring of pinky... but later when she's atleast thought through it, or at that moment Geet would have been impulsive in her thinking...

Mitalee: Does time really change the outcome and it's affect cause to that person if you tell them now or tell them later it will still be the first time for them, so either way their reaction would be the same. The only thing that does changes is the person telling vs the person listening...

He leaned in, circling his other arm around Anshu and touched the tip of her index finger nudging it to close, "This is meera..."

(The index finger is the most used of all to point the way. A show of direction, and so he assigns Meera to it)

Then he grazed the nub of her middle finger, "This is Yash..." and she folded it on her own accord.

(The finger that is quite next to the index finger - being Yash)

"This is the job she has...", he said and her thumb curled inward.

(Thumbs up - A challenge...Or you use this gesture to wish good luck. Something she will find at her work place. (You thought this is what he assigned to her ring finger, but it is not so. I checked and found that I had left the sentence in blue in the update...)

And the song came on in feeling, making its way to her ears, spreading a warm spill of comfort into her veins and she momentarily closed her eyes feeling the tingle from the touch of his finger seep deep into her skin on her ring finger.

"And this is the big bad New York...", his voice hoarse from a whisper.

(I think this is self-explanatory...And that is why she asks if he comes along with NY and not with the job)

She folded her pinky even as he said, "This is rest of the world that she could have if she wants..."

(The least of all that one needs to be happy...So he claims the rest of the world to be her pinky)

And the circle that he draws on her palm is really just a circle, where in he'd mixing all this up to offer her.
