Khuranna Construction

Maan had sensed that from last few days geet was upset. He could sense that she was in some deep thoughts and was not herself. He had decided to confront her but did not get any chance as they were busy in the govt project and Maan had the responsibility of other projects. Whenever he tried to talk either Vicky or Akshay were present. He could not see her like this so he decided that at any cost today he will be asking her about the problem. It had been a routine for Maan tat after the work he would drive geet back home with him and whenever he was not available Vicky was given the responsibility. Vicky was more than happy as this way he could keep geet away from Akshay and in office he would make it clear tat Akshay never had a chance to spend time with geet. he was succeeded in keeping geet away from Akshay as far as possible. He could see tat from past few days Akshay was behaving a bit weired. He started doubting him but could not get enough proof. His main concern was geet.Akshay was too sweet in front of them as he did not wanted any of the Khuranna's to doubt him.

As the evening approached, Maan asked geeet to stay back in the office and wait for him in her cabin till he finished his work. As soon as Maan was done he entered his cabin only to find his geet engrossed in some deep thoughts. There were silent tears in her eyes. He called her to gain her attention but it was futile attempt as she did not respond him back. So Maan went near her and touched her shoulder. when geet found tat someones hand on her she wiped her tears and turned to see Maan there.

Maan : Main tumhe kabse awaz de raha hoon. Kaha khoyee hui ho.

Geet: nahi maan aisa kuch nahi. Aapka kaam khatam hua tho hum ghar chale. Main bahut thak chuki hoon.

Maan: haan geet ghar chalte hain na. par pehle yeh tho baatao ki aakhir baat kya hai jiski wajah se tum pareshan ho.

Geet: kuch nahi Maan. Aisi koi baat nahi hai.

Maan:Jhoot mat bolna geet. jab bhi tum nazarein jhukake baat karti hoon pata chalta hai ki tum jhoot bol rahi hoon. Tho seedhe tarike se batao ki baat kya hai.

Geet: maine kaha na kuch nahi hai phir aap kyu bar bar poonch rahe hai.

Maan: Geet main aakree baar keh raha hoon ki mujhe baatao ki aisi kya baat hain jho tumhe itne dino se pareshan kar rahi hai aur jab tak tum sachayi nahi baataogi hum ghar nahi jayenge. Samjhi tum.. its my warning.

Geet could sense the serious tone in his voice and she knew tat unless and until he knows he wont leave her. She decided to tell him.

Maan: geet itna kya soch rahi hai, aakhir baat kya hai geet. please tell me wats troubling you.

Geet: Maan yeh sab meri wajah se ho raha hai. Sab problems ki wajah main hoon. I hate myself Maan. I truly hate myself.

Maan:geet yeh kaisi baatein kar rahi hai. tell me wats the matter geet.

Geet: Maan main kabhi nahi chahti thi ki meri wajah se pyar ke rishtoon mein darar aye. Main kabhi bhi unki duriyo ka karan nahi bana chahti thi. Mari wajah se unki zindagi mein problems ho rahe hain. Saath hoke bhi unki dil main duriya badh rahi hai aur inh sabki zimmedaar sirf main hoon. Main aapne aap ko kabhi maaf nahi kar sakti.

Maan: Geet yeh tum kaisi baatein kar rahi ho aur kiski zindagi mein duriya hai aur woh bi tumari wajah se. saaf saaf baatao geet..

Geet: Maan meri ek kasam se Prem bhaiya, Vicky, Heer aur Pari ke beech mein differences aye hai. Meri wajah se woh dur ho rahe hai. Par Maan maine tho woh Kasam sirf apne dono paarivaaro ke Khushiyo ke kiye di thi. Main yeh kabhi nahi chahthi ki yeh sab ho jaye. Woh chaaro sirf dehkne ke liye saath hai par sachayi yeh hai ki unke dilo mein fasale badthe ja rahe hai. and this is all because of me. Main jiski bhi zindagi mein janthi hoon unki zindagi mein problems ke alva kuch nahi dethi, I just hate myself.

Maan: No geet you are not responsible for all this. Its just the passage of time tat was bad. Everything will be alright geet. they are mature enough to understand wat is good and bad. They should understand why you did tat.

Geet: par maan yeh sab kab tak chalege. Prem bhaiyi aur Heer ki shadi ki tayariya ho rahi hai aur Vicky tho Pari se baat tak nahi kartha. Mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai.

Maan: please stop crying first. Everything will be fine. Its better tat we should tell them the whole truth so tat they understand the situation and take correct decisions for them. I will tell them the whole truth about the incident.

Geet: nahi Maan aap yeh nahi kar sakthe. Aap janthe hai na ki sachayi baatana matlab hume Dev ke baaremein sab sach baatana hoga aur iska anzaam kya hoga hum soch bhi nahi sakthe.

Maan: it's the time geet tat both the families know the whole truth. I cant hide this any more. I cant let Dev to rome freely after doing such a crime geet. he almost played with your life and then Meera. Its enough now and its time tat he should pay for his deeds. He should beg for forgiveness.

Geet: I know maan but nonthing happened to me. So please try to understand wat I say.

Maan: theek hai. I wont tell the truth to anyone but I cant promise you tat I will never. If Dev does not mend his ways soon, I wont be able to control myself. Shadi ke baad bhi nahi sudhra who. Socha ki bache ki zimmeedari se change hoga par nahi who tho aur bhi galti karne laga. Pita hokar bhi apne bache se theek tarah se baat nahi kartha, har din koi na koi complaint ati hai uski. I don't know geet how far I will control my anger. But for time being I wont tell the truth. But we should try to talk to those four.

Maan and geet call prem, Vicky, heer and pari to their farmhouse so tat they can talk to them and try to make them understand their mistakes.

Prem: Maan bhai aapne hume yaha kyu bulaya hai.

Prem, Vicky, Heer and Pari dipped their heads in shame. They could not face those questioning eyes of Maan.

Maan: Acha. Tho woh kya tha Prem. Tumne Heer ko kaise zimmedaar socha. Kyu socha ki jho bi geet ke saath hua, heer uski zimmedaar hai. Kya Heer ne ushe London jane ke liye Kaha tha. Maan: bas karo yeh sorry kehkar apne rishto ke bezathi mat karo. Aur Pari tum ne kya kiya. Par nahi tum chaaro geet ko kya samjh sakthe hai. jab main khud ushe samjh nahi saka. Nahi samjh saka ki uske dil mein kya hai. kya tum chaaro ne kabhi nahi socha ki jab geet ko pata chalegea tho ushe kaisa lagega. Jinki khushiyo ke liye ushne itna bada faisla liya woh ushe dhoka deh rahe hai. ushe yeh jathane ki khoshish kar rahe hai ki usne jho bi kiya woh galat kiya.shayad geet ki zindagi mein kabhi sukun naam ki cheez nahi hai. shayad bhagwan uski kismet mein khushya likna bhul gaye hai, isliye ushe har kadam pe dukh aur dard ke alva kuch nahi milta.

Prem: Nahi bhai aisa mat kahiye. Geet humari zindagi hai. Hum kabhi bi ushe apni dukho ka karan nahi maan sakthe. Who tho hume khushiya dene wali pari hai. Humari fikhi zindagi roshan karne wala diya hai tho hum ushe kaise zimmedaar maan sakthe hai.

Vicky: Haan bro. geet tho dono paarivar ka diya hai. tho phir hum ushe kaise galat maan sakthe hai. Jab yeh London gayi thi, aisa lagtha tha ki humari zindagi humse dur ho gayi thi. Aisa lagtha tha ki hum jeena bhul juke hai tho hum ais kaise soch sakthe hai bro.

Pari: We are sorry bhai. Hum kabhi bhi geet aur aapko dukh de. Aap tho humare hain phir hum aisa kaise soch skathe hai. phir bi bhai who waqt hi kuch ais atha ki hum apne aap par kabu nahi kar paye. Sab janthe huye bi galatiya kar baithe. We are really sorry geet.

Heer: Haan geet. we are sorry. I could not keep your promise. Humari badkismati thi ki hum tumhe theek tarah nahi jan paye. Socha ki tum sirf Maan Bhai ko bachana chahti ho. Dekh hi nahi paye ki yeh sab tum humari khushiyo ke liye kar rahi thi. I m extremely sorry geet.

Geet was silently crying. She could not say anything, she cursed herselffor all the problems. Maan gave her aside hug o calm her down then she spoke.

Geet: ab iska koi fayda nahi hai. tum sab sirf kehne ke liye pyar karthe ho, par pyar ko kabhi nahi samjha, nahi samjh paye uski gherayiya. Tum kya pyar karoge…

Maan: Haan geet tum sach keh rahi ho. Jab yeh ek dujhe ko hi nahi samjh paye tho pyar ke ehsaas ko kya samjh payenge.

Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own".

But in your case none of you have understood the true meaning of love. I hope that you understand the true meaning and take a wise decision for your life and not for the sake of others. If you truly love each other and respect us then think over it before its to late.

Part 23

The preparations for Prem and Heers wedding were in full swing. They were eargely waiting fo it. Dadima who was on a mission of finding the so called Khichdi between Maan, Geet and Vicky was successful. She had witness their blooming love when they were unaware. She was more than happy for her grandchildrens. She could feel the happiness in Maan's and Vicky's life which was missing since geet had been to London. She never wanted to know the reason for it as now she was very happy tat finally Maan and Geet were together and soon geet will be forever in KM. She decided to make them confess in front of both the families, so she informed the Khuranna's and Handa's about the budding love between Maan and Geet. They were very happy as at one point they had realized tat their dream would never ever come true but listening to Savitri Devi's words they were all on seventh heaven. So as per dadima's plan they had decided to play a small prank on them and Vicky was clear cut kept out of it. They very well knew that if Vicky was told about it he would have spill the beans to them as he was the biggest champa of his bro and friend. It was a Sunday and everyone were home.

Khuranna Mansion

Dadima : tho sab tayar hai Handa haveli jane ke liye. Mohinder ne kaha hai ki der nahi honi jaye.

Ranjit: Haan Maa, hum sab tayar hai. Late kaise ho sakthe hai aakhir humari geet ki zindagi ka sawal hai.

Maan who was busy in his work was shocked to hear geet's name.

Maan (ST): yeh dad kya keh rahe hai. Geet ki zindagi ka sawaal hai. aur papa ne sabko kyu bhulya hai. I hope everything is fine now.

Shailaja: Maan, Vicky tum dono bi aa rahe hai humare saath aur koi bhana nahi chalege.

Vicky: par mom aisi kya baat hai ki papa ne subah subah HH bhulaya hai. Aaj Sunday ke din bhi sone nahi diya. Roz tho yeh Hitler brother thag karthe hai aur aaj pata nahi yeh Handa's ko kya hua hai.

Shailaja: Vicky koi jarruri baat hai isliye waha jana hai na. tho ab jaldi chalo.

Dadima: Maan chalo waha kya baitho ho.

Maan: Dadima aap log chale mujhe jarruri kaam hai.

Ranjit: Maan koi bahana nahi. Its important and we all have to go right now so better don't make your silly excuses of work. There is no way tat you can avoid going to the Haveli now. So just get up and come.

Dadima: Haan bete. Mohinder kuch jarruri baat batana chate hai geet ke baaremein tho hume jana hoga na.

Handa Haveli

The Handa's were waiting for the Khuranna's and when they arrived , all of them sat in the main living room and were exchanging weired looks. They were hell sacred of Maan's temper as they knew if he comes to know about their plan he would fuse all of them. But still they went with their so called Mission MAANEET. Maan and Vicky were exchanging some serious looks with each other and were looking out for geet. but their dear geet was no where to be seen.

Rano: Vicky bete geet ko dhoond rahe ho kya.

Vicky: haan maa. Sab log yaha hai sirf geet nahi.

Rano: Vicky woh apne kamre main hai. zara ushe bhula ke lana uske papa ko koi jarruri baat karni hai.

With this vicky goes to call geet. When they were coming down the stairs geet was surprised to see Khuranna family present. It was not tat she had never seen them here but early morning was bit surprised. More than tat she was surprised to see Maan present there as she very well knew tat since she was in London he had not been to Handa Haveli. She smiled at them and asked Maan through here eyes tat wats the problem.

Dadima: Geet bete yaha humare paas aake baithe. Waise bi aaj kal aap bahut busy hote hai humare liye tho time hi nahi aapke paas. Pata nahi kya karti rehti hai.

Geet: Nahi dadima aisa kuch nahi hai. office mein kaam kuch jayda hai isliye nahi mil pati hoon.

Ranjit: Tho Mohinder aisi kya baat huyi hai ki tumne hum sabko subah subah bulaya hai.

Vicky: Haan papa aisi kya baat hai jiski wajah se mom ne hume itni subah jaya diya. Aaj Sunday hote huye bi hum so nahi sakthe.

Mohinder: Hogaya, ab main kuch kahu.

Sahilaja: Haan Bhaisaab aap kaheye, yeh Vicky tho humesha sone ki baat kartha hai.

Mohinder: Baat yeh hai ki Geet ke liye ek rishta aya hai.

Maan who was drinking his coffee served by Rano almost spit it out hearing it, he just shifted his gaze from geet to Vicky. Geet who thought tat she was dreaming was hell shocked to hear. Her face was expressionless.

Vicky: kya geet ke liye rishta. Yeh kaisa ho saktha hai.

Ranjit: Kyu nahi ho saktha. Ab woh badi ho juki hai, shadi tho karvani hogi. Kabtak ghar pe baitha sakthe. Mohinder tu age bata.

Mohinder: One of my business aasociates has brought his sons proposal for geet. they are one of the well known business family and are well settled. So I was thinking tat we accept this alliance and go for it. So wat you think Ranjit.

Ranjit: it sounds good and if geet agrees to it we can go ahead.

Shailaja: Par Maan aur Geet kit ho shadi fix ho juki hai na.

Rano: haan hum sab ne tho inh dono ki shadi bacpan mein tay kithi na.

Dadima: woh tho bhul hi jaye aap dono. Yeh sayi hai ki humne inh dono ki shadi fix ki thi par humara sapna sach nahi ho saktha. Aap ne dekha nahi ki yeh dono ek dujhe se kitni nafrat karthe hai. Pehle tho jagda karthe the par jab se Geet London se wapas aayi hai woh dono ek dujhe baat karna tho dur ki baat ek dujhe ko dekhte bi nahi. Aur ish tarah inh dono ki shadi hum nahi kar sakhte.

Ranjit: Maa bilkul theek keh rahi hai. jab yeh dono ek dujhe ko pasand nahi karthe tho hum inhe jhuthe rishthe mein nahi bandh sakthe. Yeh inki zindagi ka sawal hai.

Mohinder: haan rano, maa aur ranjit theek keh rahe hai. kyu apni khushi ke liye hum inki balli jadaye. Hum inhe force nahi kar sakthe aur yeh rishta bi acha hai, geet ke layak hai tho hum aage badh sakthe hai.

Rano: aap theek keh rahe hai. hum tho sirf inki khushi chahte hai agar dono ke liye yeh sayi hai tho hume kyu aitraaz hone laga.

Shailaja: Agar aap sab yeh theek soch rahe hai tho yehi sayi. Main tho sirf bacho ki khushi ke liye keh rahi thi.

Dadima: hum bhi tho unki khushi chahthe hain aur unki khushi saath mein nahi hain. Tho mohinder hume koi problem nahi hai jahan tak humari geet khush hai hum bi khush hai.

Mohinder: tho theek hai maa mein kal hi unh logo ko ghar pe bulatha hoon. Geet bhi unhse mil legi tho acha hai.

Vicky: No… I mean yeh aap sab itni jaldi kyu keh rahe hai. Geet ki shadi itni jaldi nahi ho sakthi. I mean woh bro aur…

Dadima: Yeh tum kya bakwas kar rahe ho Vicky. Tumhi ne kaha than a ki geet maan se pyar nahi karthi aur kabhi bi maan se shadi nahi karegi tho ab yeh drama kyu..

Vicky: Mera woh matlab nahi tha dadima.

Maan and Geet give s a angry glare to Vicky.

Ranjit: Chalo ab sab theek hai, hum yeh proposal aage le ja sakthe hai. Kyu Maan aap kya kehthe hai.

Maan: Main.. I mean dad why is the hurry.. she just started her career she can wait for her marriage.

Dadima: yeh kaisi baatein kar rahe ho Maan. Humare yaha ladkiya itni der tak ghar pe nahi rahki jathi. Aur career tho shadi ke baad bi kiya ja sakhta hai. Haan na geet.

Geet was sitting quietly listening to all of them and giving a angry look to Maan. She could not say anything in front of them. She just got up with tears in her eyes. Maan was furious to see her in tat state and while crossing him he just grabbed her hand and holds her by her waist.

Maan: Bas aur koi kuch nahi kahega. Kabse aap sabki baatein sun raha hoon. Ab aur nahi aur yeh kya shadi shadi laga raha hai. Geet koi khilona hai kya ki kisi bi ko de diya jaye.

Shailaja: yeh aap kaise baatein kar rahe hai maan. Hum tho geet ki khushi ke liye aur aap ushe ish tarah kyu pakad ke khade hai.

Maan: I said its enough mom. And as far as geet's marriage is concerned no one take her away from me. She will only marry me, is it clear to all.

Dadima: par Maan aap dono tho ek dujhe ko pasand nahi karthe phir yeh shadi ka kya fayda.

Rano: haan bete aap dono ki zindagi ka sawal hai.

Maan: Haan Maa zindagi ka sawal hai isliye tho…

Mohinder: isliye kya maan. Aap kyu zidd kar rahe hai.

Maan: Because we both love each other and no one I mean no one can take my geet away from me.

Everyone burst out into a laughter looking at maans face. They just could not stop laughing.

Vicky: Bro muhje lagatha hai inhe jor ka jatka laga hai aap ki baat sun kar.

Dadima: Shock, come on Vicky wat do you think tat we don't understand anything.

Geet: Matlab aap sabko pata tha aur mazak kar rahe the.

Dadima: hum tumare dadima hai bete, humse koi baat chupi nahi.

Ranjit: haan hume sab pata tha aur chahte the ki aap dono sach bataye. Isliye yeh chota sa mazak kiya tha.

Vicky: Mazak humari tho jaan nikhal gayi thi. Agar bro gusse mein kuch kar dethe tho..

Mohinder: par kuch nahi kiya na.

Rano: Chalo jho hua woh theek hua, main tho bahut darr gayi thi ki agar yeh dono kuch na kaye tho..

Shailaja: Nahi Rano. Maan itn aasani se apni geet ko jane nahi dega. Dekha nahi kitna gusse mein tha.

Maan: its enough mom.

Geet: (slowly) Maan ab tho haath hataye. Kab se aap aise pakad ke baithe hai.

Dadima: Ha bete ab tho ishe jane dijiye, ab yeh kahi nahi ja sakthi,

Maan: Nahi dadima iska kya barosa yeh phir se London bhag gayi tho.

Ranjit: Maan you are embrassing her..

Geet: please Maan… sab mazak kar rahe hai.

Maan: I said no.

Rano: Kyu aap dono mere bete ko pareshan kar rahe hai. ishe pata chaltha hai ki Maan Geet se kitna pyar karta hai.

After some fun all sit there ana talk about the wedding preapartions of Prem and Heer when suddenly Maan says.

Maan: I want geet to resign from the Singhania's as early as possible so tat she can join KC.

Geet: Maan yeh aap kya keh rahe hai.

Maan: geet meri baat abhi khatam nahi hui hai. As you all know tat the govt project which we and the Singhania's are doing will be over within a month so I want geet to give her resignation tomorrow itself so tat there is no problem for her.

Geet: par maan I do not want to resign from my job so its useless signing the letter and talking about it.

Maan: geet I do not want to listen to anything. I just want you to resign and join KC. Its tat clear.

Geet: no I wont. Papa please make him understand.

Ranjit: Maan just listen to her wat she wants to say.

Maan: No dad. I know wat she wants to say tat she wants to prove herself by working somewhere and tat she can do in KC also.

Geet: Par Maan woh tho humari apni company hai na tho aap mujhe thodeye employee ki tarah treat karege. So I want to work somewhere else.

Maan: ush galatfehmi mein mat rehna geet ki tumhe KC mein koi special treatment milege as you also have to work hard to prove yourself like other employees.

Geet: wahi tho keh rahi hoon main.

Maan: Geet its better you don't say anything about this and I wont change my decision so its no use to make any arguments. And I want to make it clear to all you tat I don't want any further discussion on this as its my final decision. aur geet I want you to sign the letter today itself and tat to in front of me. Hope so I made it clear to you.
