Feel

(For Muskan's FF - Truly Magical)

Words cannot explain how I feel right now,
I feel that life is in a complete mess right now
I do not know if I should ask heaven to pour its rain on me

Or ask the earth to engulf me inside her

All is standing still, as quiet as the dark night
I sigh, a tear slowing flowing down my cheek
Can anyone hear me? Is anyone out there?
Can anyone feel my pain?

Dream

(For Muskan's FF - Truly Magical)

A lonely soul

As delicate as a flower petal

She grew up on a bed full of roses

She had simple wishes, desires and dreams

She had everything in this world that she could ask for

Money, clothes, jewellery, riches and much more

Yet, she was alone, sad and lonesome

She craved for only one thing

And that was LOVE.

Love from someone, anyone.

She needed to be loved and cherished

That was her only dream

She craved it from her mother and her father

From her friends, though she had none

From someone who would make her the apple of their eye

From someone to whom she meant the world.

She did not know how she felt anymore,

Her life was in a complete mess right now

No one to turn towards

No one to hold her and hug her

No one to wipe her tears

She did not know if she should ask the heaven to pour its rains on her

Or ask the earth to engulf her inside it

All was standing still, as still as a leaf in the dark night

A sigh, a tear slowly flowing down her cheek.

She asks? A simple question!

Can anyone hear me?

Can anyone feel my pain?

Silence is all that she can hear

Yet, she waits, for her dream.

The dream to be LOVED.

Ek tu thi meri zindagi, ek tu thi mera sahara

Na jaane yeh kya hoga, hua mein tujse paraya.

Na yaad tujko mein, na hamari aamanat

Na yaad tujko mein, na hamari mohabbat

Ek tu thi meri zindagi, ek tu thi mera sahara

In haathon se hi maine kiya tujko mujse paraya.

A poem can have an impact, but you can't expect an audience to understand all the nuances.
A poem conveys not a message so much as the provenance of a message, an advent of sense.
A poem is true if it hangs together. Information points to something else. A poem points to nothing but itself.
