Unforgivable Mistake

(For Ritz's FF - Till Death Do Us Apart)

I stood by the window looking at the dark night
I was surrounded by nothing but darkness and silence
I felt lonely, alone, guilty and ashamed
I had nothing more to look forward too
All I had was gone within a few moments

How could I?
How could I do this to her and my family?
How could I?

I was so happy and with her
She was my life and I hers
Our heartbeats were always in sync with each other
She looked at the world through my eyes and I through hers
I was waiting for the day when she would be lawfully mine
But alas! That dream of mine will no longer come true

How could I?
How could I do this to her?
How could I betray her and our love?
How could I make this terrible mistake?

I do not deserve her anymore,
She is no longer mine
I cannot even think of being with her ever again
What if I hurt her again?
I cannot trust myself anymore
I am flawed, unworthy and unforgivable
I do not deserve her, never again.

I wait for death to come over me
But I realize that dying would be an easier way out
So here I am, standing by the window looking at the dark night
Alone, lonely, guilty and ashamed
This is my punishment being here all alone
Without her love and her presence

Today

(For Shaheda's FF - With All My Love & Heart Forever)

It is just YOU and the universe

You create your today and nothing more,

You smile at the clouds

And dance in the rain.

You look at the moon showering its blessings

Today is today with no guarantee of tomorrow

YOU live for today only

If there is a tomorrow it is a blessing.

I, human; keep forgetting this concept

By dwelling in the past and dreaming of tomorrow.

Remember - You live for today only.

The Only One

She was the one

The only one

One of a kind!

She was as innocent as a new born baby

As naive as the first dew drop on the grass

As plain as the clear blue sky

As understanding a human can ever imagine

As truthful as the words of God

As believing as your faith can be

She was the one

The only one

His dodo!

She was unaware of what happened to her

She was unaware of what the future will bring for her

She was unaware that she was carrying a child

She was unaware that she was an unwed mother

She only knew one thing

That he was her Genie and he was her world

He could never do anything wrong

Her blind faith in him always reached its infinity

She loved him, loved him to the core

Her love for him had no boundaries

She only knew one thing

That she was his and he was hers

The sun blessed her with his shine

And the night cocooned her with his love.

She was his and only his

She loved him, more than he loved her.

She was the one

The only one

His dodo!

Maan

His love oozes from the angry words he says to her,

His love is in the harshness of his actions towards her

His love is in the guilt he feels in each and every cell of his body

His love is in his care and concern he portrays towards her..

Geet

Her love is in her silence when he is angry at her

Her love is in her being respectful towards him and his Daadi

Her love is in her eyes..when she sees feels his pain

Her love is in the concern that she feels towards him

Both of them loved each other in their own ways

Both of them were scared due to their life experiences

Both of them did not know where they stood in each other's lives today

It is a matter of how life turns around for them

Because their destiny and their dreams are going to be written by the one and only.
