Scene shifts back to Dadi and Devtara
Recap ~The couple's face had lost its colour..they were taken aback by the name Geet...both their minds drifted to the Geet they had once deceived...
NT - Dadi...Geet kaun hai?(after much reluctancy)
Dadi - Geet...Geet wohi hain jinhone hume hamara Maan waapas de diya.
NT - (puzzled)Magar woh hain kaun?
Dev - Haan,dadi...Aapko inke bare mein kuch aur pata hai? I mean inke family wageira wageira?
Dadi - Waah Dev aap to abhi se itne excited hain apni bhabhi ko le kar...
Actually humne kabhi Geet se unki family ke bare mein kabhi baat hi nahi kari.Lekin hume usse dekh kar bas pata hai....ki woh humare Maan ke liye hi bani hain. Geet mahan hain...usne woh kar dikhaya jo hum sab na kar paye...Bohot pyaari hain...jahan bhi jaati hain,khushiyaan bikher deti hain.Najaane unke maa baap ne unhe apne se itna door kaise kar liya.
Devtara - Kyun?Woh delhi ki nahi hain?
Dadi - Ji nahi,woh Hoshiarpur ki hain.
Devtara were flabbergasted. Couldn't digest the last bit of what they had heard. Dadi walks away to meet the doctor and inquire about what exactly happened to Geet and if she could take away her bahu already.
NT - Dev Singh Khurana!!!Humne kaha tha ki yeh Geet humara peecha nahi chodne wali...
Dev - Naintara!! Tum mujhpe kyun chilla rahi ho...Dadi ne sirf yeh kaha hai ki Geet bhabhi Hoshiarpur se hain,yeh to nahi kaha ki uska naam Geet Handa hai!!
NT - Jo bhi ho Dev,agar yeh wahi Geet hui toh hum aapko kabhi nahi chodenge.
Dev - Naintara,calm down....Relax..pehle check to karlein ki yeh Geet bhabhi kaun hain?
NT - Aap yeh bhabhi bhabhi karna band karenge ab.(thinking to herself)Agar Dev ko pata chal gaya ki Geet inke bacche ki maa banne wali hai toh yeh hume chod denge uss do kaudi ki ladki ke liye.Nahi nahi yeh hum kya soch rahe hain,lekin phir bhi hume Dev ko kabhi pata nahi chalne dena chahiye Geet ke bare mein. Devtara go to the reception to get Geet's ward number.
Scene shifts to Maan and Geet
Maan was still standing at the door,watching the love of his life crying. Geet,despite being in that cozy bed,in that air-conditioned room,all those luxuries felt like she was forced into a sauna and couldn't find the way out. She felt like a kid who was losing grip of her father in a carnival. Standing in a crowd but feeling alone. She wanted to die but she had to live. She just had to,if not for her Maan,at least for her baby who was most depending on her and who she was depending on.
Maan finally entered the ward as he couldn't see his Geet,his oxygen supply break down like this. How was he to live if his oxygen supply was upset.
Maan - Geet,
Geet - (quickly wiped off her tears) Arre Maan sir?Aap kab aaye?Kahin meri yaad toh nahi aa rahi thi?(trying to act to be cheerful)
Maan was shocked to see how can one be so good?One moment she is crying like a baby,the next she's laughing like nothing ever happened,the next she might be angry,then maybe annoyed and maybe annoying.Geet was the mistress of expressions.No,actually she sucked at it sometimes,most of the time.
