At the breakfast table

Geet with Dadi's servant Chandu( I adored his lines)

Geet- Chandu..please jaake sir ko bula dijiye,ki naashta ready hai..pata nahi kab se unhone paranthe nahi khaaye hoyenge

Chandu- ji, par woh mujhe daant ke bhaga dete hain.

Geet- achha..sirf aap ko hi nahi

Maan coming down the stairs
Maan- kya aapko hi nahi?

Geet and Chandu- woh,kuchh nahi

Maan glares at both,sits down and sees the paranthas..

Maan- Geet lekin...
Geet- Chup! chup chap khalo bas. nahi toh..
Maan- ok baba. but only 1
Geet- kyun? hatte khatte ho,ek se kya hoga

Dadi comes in and sees the paranthas..smiling..

Dadi- Arre Maan, aap kab se..
She goes quiet after 1 deadly look

Maan- aah....mirchi mirchi!!!

Geet- hai rabba..yeh kya ho gaya..mirchi kaise dal gayi mujhse..

She rushes to get water, that Maan had just finished..
then she goes and gets honey

Geet- Please, idhar dekhiye mujhe.

Maan gets lost in Geet forgets everything else..

Geet makes him eat some honey, while he is staring at her with loving eyes

Dadi- dekha Maan..Geet aapka kitna khayal rakhti hai

Maan and Geet embarrassed.

After breakfast,both go to the office together.

While in the car, Maan asks the driver to stop at the mall

Maan- main ek minute aata hoon

He goes in and comes back in 10 minutes.

Geet- yeh kahan gaye the?
Maan- kuchh nahi..chalo driver.

They reach office..first time.. Mr and MRs MSK enter the office and Geet goes to her cabin and Maan to his.

In his cabin,
Maan- Bas, aur 5 minute mein Geet mujhe call karegi

Geet on entering her cabin sees that it's full of white roses- her favourite and then she sees a parcel which she opens

Geet(to herself)- Oh wow...Yeh Maan bhi na..kitna pyaara phone toh diya,par isse chalao kaise(its a BB)
Then ,she does everything and switches it on.
Gets a text from a number

it says-
So that we can always be in touch..even while we're only a room apart from each other.

MAan back in the room thinks she hasn't called..
Maan-oh no..mujhe pata tha yeh message itna cheezy tha..uff..Geet mazaak udaayegi mera

He gets a call and picks up..

Hello, Mr Maan

Maan- Oh, Mr Chopra..kahiye.
Mr Chopra- Main soch raha tha ki aaj hum further opportunities ke upar baat kar lein..Do you and Mrs Khurana mind coming with us for lunch

Maan(to himself)- kya boloon?LAst time yeh hua tha toh Geet ne kya kya keh diya..main nahi phir se bolta.

Geet knocks on the door and enters with some files

Maan- Ek minute Mr chopra

Geet- Sir, woh files...

Maan- Sir?
Geet- office mein aap mere Sir hain.
Maan- Geet...Mr chopra wants us to go for lunch

Geet- Ji Sir.Kitne baje?
Maan- 😲 maan gayi?!
Geet and Mr chopra- Sir, Mr Maan..
Maan to both- Hmm..yes, ok. see you at 2

She goes,but then stops, turns, and sees Maan looking at her

Geet- woh..phone and flowers ke liye thanks..par aapko toh phool pasand nahi hain

Maan- haan..nahi hain. Par tumhe hain. bas itna kaafi hai mere liye.

Geet and Maan have an eye lock and then she leaves

Sasha sees Geet's office and burns with jealousy...

Maan- yeh sir bolna kab chhodegi..Maan..thodi masti ho jaaye..

Geet comes in.

Maan- Geet...dadi ka phone aaya tha.. AAj hume ghar jaldi jaana hoyega. Woh, unhone party rakhi hai toh...

Geet- ji. Ek, minute, sir..main itni jaldi taiyaar kaise houngi?
plus mere paas aapke type ke kapde bhi nahi hain

Maan(totally confused)- mere type ke kapde?

Geet- haan...woh high-society type kapde.

Maan(rolls eyes)- oh come on Geet, tum kuchh bhi pehnogi toh...

Maan (completes thought in his mind)- bhi pari hi lagogi
(outside)- waise hi lagogi..Kapdon se kisi ka nahi pata chalta.

Geet- phir bhi..ek kam karti hoon. Aap lunch pe jaayieye..main dadi ke saath kapde lene jaati hoon..aapko kuchh chahiye

Maan- haan woh..KYA?

Maan thinks of how cheeky she's being and decides that lunch can wait.

He says- ek minute Geet.

Calls Mr Chopra
Maan- Mr C..I'm sorry hum aj lunch pe nahi aa sakte..Shaam ko reception hai aur Geet ko kuchh samaan khareedna hai.

Mr C- haan koi baat nahi Mr Maan.Aap toh aa sakte hain.

Geet can hear what C is saying

Geet- S..Sir..he's right. you can go you know.

Maan glares at Geet,thinking.

Maan- Nahi. Mujhe bhi kuchh samaan lena hai

Mr C- aap Mrs Khurana ko bata dijiye..woh le aayengi

Geet is by that time trying to control her smile

Maan- Woh main..woh main..

An unspoken understanding passes between Maaneet and Geet takes the phone

Geet to C- Mr Chopra..I'm sorry but I don't think today is a v good idea for the lunch..maybe tomorrow? Or better still, why don't you come to the reception?

Mr C- hmm..okay Mrs Khurana..jaisa aapko convenient ho. Enjoy with Mr Maan

Maan- Maan gaya tumhaari baat?

Geet(wearing a v smug look)- aur koi kaam hai...sir?

Maan- nahi..That will be all. Koi spare kaam ho toh khatam karlo. We'll leave in about half an hour.

Both turn away from each other... Geet-shy.. Maan-with anticipation
