IF Tamil Serials' Fans' Lounge.

The lounge is teeming with people. All are present and for a change are very busy. Pat is right in the center giving out instructions and there is a great flurry of activity. Some celebration??!! We are about to find out.

Sue is tired but Pat wont let her rest – The whole of last week Sue was busy scanning her house for bugs, hidden cameras, spies etc, etc., Of late, what ever she thinks or does in the safety of her house, seems to reach Roja!!! She is fed up of losing her privacy in her own home. She grilled her maid with vengeance – who sent her, whether the agency has any connection at all to Roja, did Roja bribe her by any chance etc., etc., - the maid decided to quit but Mr.Nair convinced her to stay – with Sue spending most of her time in IF, the house is neglected and if the maid leaves now ……Mr.Nair shudders even to imagine …..... "Kidaikkira aria kurai saapadum Govinda agidume….." Sue managed to bake a big fruit cake – not sure if the maid added some thing more to it knowing that the cake is meant for IF!!!!!

Ho is back from her conference. She asked a lot of Qs to D –Kasthuri but got the answers from Roja " just because she shares the same initials with D(Ka) ???!!" But she did like Roja's punishments for all the serials in general – "wow, no Glycerine and no onions?? Does it mean that we wont have crybabies in Tamil serials???" the thought by itself is soothing. Ho did bring some dry red chilli powder and left it in Roja's ammunition corner … "just in case…"

Dasa is still away in India – his father is doing much better. Atina is still busy with household chores but with Kavi in the hospital, things are tough. Kavi is still in the hospital. The IF ians miss her – there was a prayer meet in the lounge but no prasadam was made – all are used to Kavi's pongal and could never match that standard of cooking. Kavi's SIL gives updates and the IF ians are eagerly waiting for her to come back – " nakku sethu pochuppa, che kavi poduvale oru coffee........ athuthan coffee ….."

Usha and Pokkiri are comparing notes. They have decided to act together – two heads are better than one – some lateral thinking is possible and the punishments could be more potent!!! Pokkiri is also looking for ideas from others – he started a game and Jas came out with all her pent up anger – Boyy, she might prove to be a tough competitor for the other two!!!

Jas is also tired – she was made to sit on the hot seat last week – "ippediyellam kooda Qs unda??? Intha Tamizhan kutti paiyyana irunthalum, epdi ellam think panraan??? Mmmmm " Jas rushed in to the lounge thinking that she can sleep on the easy chair but Pat would not let her – Jas is decorating the lounge with others stealing a few winks of sleep - here and there – when Pat is not looking!!!

Rhodes is the only one who is allowed to sit. But she does not want to sit quiet – she is making some paper flowers for decoration. They are so good that Vani is tempted to ask, " enna Rhodes, origami class attend panniningalaa?"

Vani is new here – she seems to merge well , all the time game for some fun. Well, she did come to the right place – Thakku pidippangalaa nnu poga poga theriyum!!!

Meli is away still – will have a lot to catch up when she returns!!! Serial is also very busy – puthu job, veetle guests…… but manages to peep in … she is expected to make an appearance today – party day!!!

Rathy vishayam than onnume puriyalai – looks like she has moved to India for good. She comes out like a 'asariri' and vanishes!!! Pat has made a mental note – either Kams or Giri will do the "thuppariyum (detective) job" and get hold of Rathy!!!

Surprise, surprise!!! Giri is back. She is in already with her jasmine garlands hanging from her ears – she has been going around making friends with all those she has not met before and kusalam visarichyfying the others who are known to her. She looks around for her evil twin – Roja – only to be told that Roja has made it a habit to arrive last and always with some trouble. Giri's eyes are shining – there is no who knows Roja as well as Giri – she can read Roja's mind !!! She is glad to hear the news and is all set to go along with Roja. Ho loves the smell of Giri's jasmine and wants some for herself. Giri talks about her regular pookkaari in Madras who delivers at door step and promises to get some for Ho the next day.

Pat is busy. She is the only one who has some info about Roja. Roja called her in the morning and requested Pat to arrange for a party in the lounge. When Pat asked about the occasion , Roja was evasive – "200 th day celebs with some guests – lovable ones" – lovable for whom??? Roja's idea of lovable could be traumatic to others….. Roja has requested Pat to call her lawyers to the lounge … this is what is troubling Pat … lovable guests might need lawyers??!! Money is not a problem any more – after Roja's ( so called) "abduction" , the lounge got rich and Dasa made a good investment plan – the FD he made fetches a good interest and is used for all such unforeseen expenses – unforeseen???!!! Well, with Roja around it can not be described that way any more ….……

The lounge is ready.. well decorated and smelling good – thanks to Giri's Madurai malli garlands and the thazham poo incense sticks……. Roja is missing still … what is she up to??? Caryn as usual sniffs around and finds that Tamil is missing too ….. Roja and Tamil together??? Caryn whispers some thing in to Ho's ears and Ho makes a cross and calls Jesus for help ………….

Roja enters ……followed by a Mazhalai Pattalaam - she is all
smiles and carries a small girl in her arms - 3 girls and 2 boys
falling in the age group of 8 –10 follow Roja. Tamil enters with
an infant in her arms. Tamil looks very tired and heads straight
to the fridge for some ice cold drink!!!

Ho is stunned – did Roja kidnap these kids??? Her smelling salts
are ready with her and she buries her nose in to them. Serial is
just gasping, holds on to her avtar which voices her mind –
OMG OMG OMG – Jas is speechless for once – what has
Roj done now – this is an offense!!! Pat looks at her lawyers
who are breathing hard – they are not ready for this, they try
to tell Pat about the consequences …… but Pat is sweating
profusely and looks around for her BP pills. Rhodes is speechless
and Vani is quick to rush to her … in case she needs some thing…….

Giri is calm and quickly closes the Lounge door. She goes to
the ammunition corner and picks up the thiruppacchi aruval
… what if she needs it???? Caryn is strong as usual – she
did admit Roja in the ICU and held on until the others arrived!!!
–looks at Roja quizzically - Roja gives one of her innocent,
blank looks and looks around for support. She sees the ever
supportive Giri and smiles.

" Roja akka, enna aachu sollunga? Tamil , neeyavathu pesen
ppa" – Tamil is drinking ice water as if she has not seen water
in ages and nods helplessly – " I went with Roja alright but she
needs to tell me also ….. I have no clue. She took me to a
dozen places and had muted talks. We took these kids along.
But this time, she did not flout any laws, I am sure" - Roja is
oblivious to all the piercing looks and settles the children -
smiling at them and making sure that they get to eat some thing.
The IF ians recognize the kids – they are – Indhu, Lakshman
and Kavitha of Aanandam, Vijay of Muhurtham , Sivadas'
daughter and Manjula's kids (Kolangal) – All the kids are glued
to Roja. She is holding little Lax in her arms and cooing to him.
Roja's face has a glow of warmth – this face of Roja is new to
the IF ians, it was always the MSSS Roja with a mad gleam !!!!

Pat is all set, she had her pills and ready to confront Roja –
" Rojaaaaaa, what is this?? Why and how did u get hold of
these kids??? And why do u need the lawyers?? Out with it
NOW….." Roja makes sure that the children are given some
balloons to play and asks the marshals to keep an eye on the kids –
the lounge door is locked from inside for safety!!

A calm Roja turns to Pat and at last opens her mouth "Pat, first
things first, here, pls hand this over to your lawyers and ask them
to go thro this. I need to get things cleared up, ok?" – thus
saying gives a sheaf of papers. Pat grabs them and hands over
to the lawyers. The lawyers get to work and the IF ians turn to
Roja for explanation.

"Well, Sivadas' daughter was kidnapped and was used as
a bait. I lost my cool this time. In spite of burning D(Ko),
he rose back from the ashes and continued to abuse this girl.
And, the kids of Manjula .. they do not even have names. If
Abi loses the case, these children will be made to go thro hell.
And of course, u all know about Indhu – how she suffered with
that maniac Abirami – she is yet to get back to normalcy.
I know that Abirami will stoop to the level of hurting little Lax
as well. I picked up Kavitha along – who knows? She could be
abused as well!! Vijay (Muhurtham) was used as a beggar and
by the time he reached back home, he was a wreck. So, I
wrote a comprehensive complaint and took it to the Human
Rights' Commission. Fortunately, there was a lady who is a
social worker and is heading an orphanage in Chennai. I
promised HRC that these children will be safe with us until
a permanent arrangement is made. I got a court order and
brought them here. I am sure, the D s of all these serials will
come here and make trouble. Our lawyers can take care of the
legal issues and we can protect these kids as long as needed.
What say?"

For once, the IF ians are speechless. All the kids look at the
group and Indhu musters enough courage to ask Pat " aunty,
please engalai thirumbi antha hell kku anuppidathinga, please
aunty" …… Giri and Tamil stand guard near the door –
" yaravathu varattum, oru kai pathudarom!!" Ho and Sue hug
the children and all set to protect them. Jas runs around for
comics – " can make them laugh with comics". The lawyers tell
Pat that all is in order and they can deal this smoothly. The rest
of the IF ians amuse the kids with games and we see the kids
laughing as kids should be!!!

Roja is reclining in the easy chair, holding little Lax in
her arms and feeding him milk in a new sterilized bottle–
she is singing a lullaby softly and looks peaceful……….

(This is for those of u who do not know how Roja
assembled her ammunition corner which has grown
by leaps and bounds!!! Also, you will know how
Roja got MSSS - Multiple Serial Shock Syndrome -
The IF ians had to struggle a lot to bring back
Roja to what she is today - How ever, they have
not been able to cure her of her mad gleam - it
just stuck, thanks to serials!! - this was posted
on 13th Dec'06 in the jokes thread (page 3) - this
got a rave review and so Roja ventured in to writing CKs!!!
Flash news - the new IF ians have raided Roja's ammunition
corner and have a weapon each to attack those who gave those
rave reviews - "ithu nyayamaa? reviews kuduthuttu ellarum odi
poittinga, ippo Roja engalai varuthu edukkiraale??!!" )


Directors of all Sun Tv serials in discussion.

Thols: Looks like there is some forum discussing Tamil serials and they seem to be coming down heavily on all of us. We must do something and teach them a lesson ( pls read all this with Thols' English accent - It is another thing that we might forget the sound of normal English words!!)

Malargal Dir: ennanga seyyalam? Shan kku innoru kalyanam pannidava? Poo kku 3 masam time kuduthu patha Shan amma, aana ava pregnant aagalai, so she wants him to marry againnu sollidaren. Ok??

Muhurtham Dir: yen Sir, konjam creative aa yosikka maatingala? Ippo yennai paarunga, thideernu oru puthu family, oru puthu villi ellam introduce panni kalakkaren illai?? ( pulls up his collar with pride and the rest of the group looks up to him with open mouths) Naan Kalidas ai kill pannittu Jeeva kaile gun kuduthudaren, epdi??

Radhika: Ellarum Konjam vaayai moodunga pa, Naan irukkum pothu pesa enna dairiyam ungaluuku?? Naalaikku Selvi will become Commissioner of Police and ella villain villiyai encounter paaniduva, just wait and see.

Thols : Epdinga? Comm. of Police aaga IPS pass panna vendama?

He just starts to say something else but feels a dozen hands hitting him. All in unison: "Logic?? Logic pathi pesina inge kolai vizhum. Neeyellam oru serial director?? Ivanai adichu malai mele irunthu uruttungappa".

Everybody shouts and comes out of the discussion room. They find Atina, Suram, Patraj, Simi, Aaana, Caryn, Suresh and a whole load of IF Tamil serial fans trying to pacify Rojapoo who is having a gun, a bottle of poison, a thick rope, a big butcher's knife and all that could be used to end life. Rojapoo Screaming her heart out -" ennaai vidungappa, I will use all this at the same time and make sure that at least one of them kills me successfully"

The Directors are relieved to know that they are not the targets and go back to their (un) creative discussion.

IF Tamil Serials' Fans' Lounge.

Jas is dreaming – She wanders lonely
as a cloud a la Wordsworth - the clouds -
"For joy and rest, albeit to find them only
Lodged in the bosom of eternal things "
She found a group of Daffodils in her dream
with tiny dew drops on them. She recalls the
poem " To a snow drop" Her thoughts are focused
on getting lost – she is in for a surprise!!!

Sue is also dreaming – of grand children,
of being a wonderful grandma –" Ohhh, When???"
Right now she is on to cutting the length of
her lines to suit the width of the IF pages –
She ends up writing long sentences and people
have to move the cursor from side to side for
every single line!!!. Simple things are elusive
some times – but Sue does not give up – puts all her
might in to that!!! She gets visions of tiny little
feet and hands – her grand kids??? If only she can
read Roja's mind, she might be more confident

Ho is happy too - Giri brought her some nice
smelling Madurai malli Poo and Roja brought a
lounge full of children – what more can she
ask for??? The only thorn in the bed of roses
is vaathu – "hmmmm, that might stay the same as
long as Ekta gets money from the channel "–
If only she knew what Roja had in mind ……….

Giri is also day dreaming – after the fire
crackers and the "magic wand" fight with her
twin in the lounge , she is more composed.
' hmmm, if my little one grew up a little more
and occupied himself with his own agenda, I can
also watch all the serials …….." Well, all that she
needs to do now is wait – Roja irukka bayam yen???

Pat is also dreaming – " office le update panna mudiyalai.
Puthu restrictions… hmmmm those dreamy
days of logging on to IF from work thirumbi varuma??
Can my lawyers help?? Can they do some thing……"
Pat, oh Pat why did u forget Roja??

Kavi has been brought from the hospital to the
lounge. She raved and ranted there so much that
her doctor uncle sent her to the lounge with strict
warnings -" traction to continue, no kitchen, no
movement" – all the time some family member stands
guard – They all have heard about the mad IF ians
and do not want to take any chances. Kavi is slightly
happy but dreaming …." Kitchen kku eppo marupadi poven?
Yen friends ellarum nalla coffee venum nnu kekkarangale …
Kavi, kutty, no worries – Roja has a plan ……


Usha is dreaming too " hot seat le irunthu eppo
release?? Roja voda head to head collision is due.
Have to buy the newest edition of Garuda Puranam…"
Little does she know about the future and its surprises….

Tamil is pretending to be working.. her mind is all
set on little Lax. " what if there is a little one
in my house??? What will be the house like?? Can
I combine career and home?….. " wait till you meet
Roja today.

Pokkiri is all set with his story .." Deepa enakku kidaippala?
Can I help Nethra and ask her to kidnap Sanjay? Roja akka
has promised to help in writing …. Hmmmm not sure if she will
toe my line… Pokkiri paiyya, Roja has some thing brewing,
beware!!!

Meli is dreaming about her holidays and how she
made her dad go bankrupt, well almost …. " hmmmm,
jolly days over, now have work in IF, wish I had
a magic wand which could do everything in just one
stroke and I can dream on and on……" Roja has the answer

Rhodes is dreaming about her "bangle protection"
ceremony …"hope Kavi will be back, I want bangles
in all the colors of the rainbow…" Rhodes, Roja
might get you the rainbow itself…..

The lounge is full of dreamers and Roja barges in
followed by two kaki clad men pushing in some thing
that looks like a chamber…… Pandora's box???!!!!

The reverie is broken and all assemble near the box.
Roja pays the men and sends them away. She opens
the box and looks at the contents. All the others
peep in as well and find some kind of coats – marked
"Back to the Future"

Jas gives a look of disdain – "Roj, we know that
u are a bundle of contradictions but this is a bit
too much – Back to the Future??" Giri has immense
faith in her twin – she knows that Roja has some
thing up her sleeve!! Pat has decided to go along
this time – lawyers or no lawyers – she missed the
heaven trip and she does not plan to miss this


Roja takes out the coats. " I went to Hahaland
during the week end and met Mdm. Dogoodtoall. She
has invented this new coat and I borrowed a few
from her for us.– You can choose to go back in
times or to the future. .. Well, this is how it
works. You can seat yourself comfortably and wear
this coat. The coat has an adjustable dial where
u can set the period of your choice. There is a
switch in the center and when pressed will take u
to the period in the dial. Each person has only two hours.
The coat will automatically fall out after 2
hours and u will return to the present". Roja looks
around for doubts but each one has a coat in their
hands and checking it out – already!!! Roja has a
vicious smile which goes unnoticed by the IF ians.

All seat themselves comfortably and don the coat.
Their worlds change…..

Jas is chatting with Shelley, Keats and Wordsworth.
She hears Wordsworth reciting Daffodils and The
Solitary Reaper…… Jas feels blessed and time flies

Ho sees a totally different Vaathu – she is
all modern, well groomed and has a flourishing
shoe shine business – has a big palatial house!!
Creep begs the watch man to let him in but the
watch man throws rotten eggs on creep and drives
him away. Vaathu is standing in the balcony of the
third floor and watches with glee….

Pat is famous. Her book - " Handling devious MILs" -
is on the best seller list for over an year and
Pat has become extremely rich. Her daughters are
married. Pat gave each a copy of her best seller
as a part of their "dowry". Pat's daughters are
treated with kids' gloves by their MILs – they cook,
clean, take care of the grandchildren… etc., etc.,
with out a whimper!!!

Usha has got hold of the future editions of Garuda
Puranam and is immensely Pleased – she doles out
new innovative punishments and is in great demand
She is globe trotting in her private jet…. She has
consultancy offices all over….


Pokkiri is fed up – he married Deepa after a lot of
struggle and villainous acts. Now he is thoroughly disillusioned.
She whines all the time a la Kaveri of Anjali and makes life
a living hell for Pokkiri. He met Nethra who managed to marry
Sanjay and was shocked to find out that Nethra is also unhappy –
all the love she had has "Gone With the Wind" – she told Pokkiri
" we are just made for each other Pokkiri, we made a mistake"…
… Pokkiri is deep in thoughts…..

Giri's little son is in college and has a load of friends.
He is hardly home and Giri has a lot of
free time. – Giri's hubby has a flourishing
business and built a spacious house in Central Madras.
He specially designed a room with Home Theatre for
Giri - admission only by Giri's invitation !!
She has become a bigwig in IF – updates almost all
the Serials …

Tamil is very happy … She has two children now.
Lax is about 13 years and the daughter is 10 yrs old.
Tamil's MIL has moved in with them and dotes on the
grandkids. When Tamil comes back from work, MIL is
ready with snacks and coffee. Life is beautiful……

Kavi is running around. Five years back,
she started a small restaurant which grew
by leaps and bounds. She now has a chain all
over Malaysia and just opened one in New York.
Her success story is featured in all the business
magazines . In spite of her busy schedule , she still visits
IF kitchen …. That is home, after all!!!

Meli has finished her research and got a tenure
in Harvard. She guides more than 6 students in their
research studies. She is so popular with the student
crowd that more than 10 students are waiting to be
accepted by Meli – they do not want any other guide!!!!

Rhodes is running around too – her son is in college
and her daughter is in the final year of school.
Son plays basket ball for his college and daughter
is a tennis champ. Good, contented life….. thank God.

Sue is playing with her grand children – they
are a naughty lot – but Sue is very patient
with them – her daughter is astonished; " amma
was never this patient when I was young, she was
driving me up the wall all the time…" Sue gives
an understanding smile to her daughter which says –
" children are a responsibility but grand kids are
for enjoyment, you will know when u get your grand
kids" –

Two hours are gone in a jiffy and the coats fall
off from the IF ians. All get up as if they
have been woken up from a deep slumber. Roja looks
keenly in to all their faces – What does she expect
to see??? Pat asks Jas, " hey, I had a nice sleep,
why did you not wake me up?? Need to get back
to work. Jas looks surprised, " I too slept. what happened?
We got drugged???"

Roja's mad gleam is back in her eyes – when she
distributed the coats, she purposely left out some
thing – Mdm.D had told Roja that people can see
and live the period of their choice when the coat
is on but the moment the coat comes off, they will
have no memory of what they saw – The If ians are
back to the present…..

Roja did not don the coat … what is the use of
seeing your future if u can not remember what
you have seen?? And Roja's present is pretty
amusing. A whole load of IF ians are available …
her own preys…....

IF Tamil Serials'Fans' Lounge.

All the members are present. "Back to the Future"
ride has put some glow on every one's face - even
though they do not remember what they saw!!! It is
Roja's Birth day and they cant believe that she
managed to make the whole nation celebrate it!!!
All are curious to know what Roja has in mind -in
terms of celebration - "Cake?? sweets?? may be
some more kids in the lounge??" - No one has a clue.

Roja enters pulling a gunny bag behind her. Two
kaki clad men enter along with her and ...... wait
a minute..... who is that????? Thols?? of all the
people in the world???? Caryn is smart as usual -
she looks at Roja's face and sees the mad gleam -
more maniacal than usual!!!!

Thols has no clue either - he enters as if he has been
invited for an award ceremony. His face has a look that
says " Oh I am the most popular serial director and so
much in demand"!!! (Roja has made sure to change the
look of the lounge beyond recognition and sent two strangers
to pick him up. At the entrance Thols was received by Nitipp
who is also a new face!!!)

As soon as he enters, Giri closes the lounge entry, locks it
and throws the keys away!! He scans the crowd and his face
bleaches - like a hastily cleaned class room black board
before the next teacher comes in - full of chalk marks -
he tries to flee but no way .. he nondufies his vidhi and
looks at the crowd with fear written large on his face.

Roja empties the contents of the gunny bag - the members
are disappointed to see a mound of balloons but why would
Roja' eyes gleam more??? Roja winks at Giri - Giri takes the
cue and garlands Thols with her jasmine garlands - Thols stiffens
and Jas recalls that the garland has a steel wire running through it!!!!
Jas also has a similar gleam in her eyes - well, almost similar to Roja's -

Roja looks at Thols - the gleam is replaced by pure hatred -
and says ( with a milk and honey dripping voice)
" Today is Independence day and the IF members decided
to distribute balloons and sweets to all the schools of Madras.
I just have one gunny bag here. Meli and Ho are bringing some
more bags. You start with these first - start blowing them and we
will tie them up. Then we can all go and distribute, what say??"

Thols looks relieved - " well, this is not so bad at all - for all
the child abuse I showed in my serial, this might be the atonement"
- he starts blowing. The first one does not get filled and so he tries
another... another.... another... but to no avail. He is puzzled and
so are the members. Sue and Tamil are very curious and so start
examining the balloons - lo and behold, they find tiny little needle
marks on all the balloons and their faces break out with grins.
"Well, this is going to be fun...."

Meli and Ho enter with 5 more gunny bags.... Usha and
Pokkiri are sitting in one corner and needling the balloons ....
Thols blows and blows and blows...... Roja laughs hysterically
and for once the rest of the members join her...... the lounge is
exploding.....

IF Tamil Serials' fans' Lounge.

Roja and Tamil are doing some thing seriously.
Giri is assisting. The washing machine is
whirrrriiiiinnngggg - Tamil empties one whole
carton of soap flakes. Giri empties a 2 lt can
of bleach inside. Over and above the noise of
the washing machine, we hear some " aiyoo aiyoo
ayayayayaoooo" screams.

Roja, Tamil and Giri have a cruel, satisfied
look on their faces. The machine at last comes
to a stop and the trio pull out some "thing" -
nonthu nool aagi pona Thols and CR come out.
Tamil feels that they are not clean enough - so she
takes a flat viragu and beats them more.

Jas has been standing and watching. She runs out
fast and comes back with a gunny bag. She empties
the content in to the machine - it is D Anjali!!! The
process gets repeated!!!

The foursome laugh hysterically ..........

IF Tamil Serials' Fans' Lounge

It is one of those busy days in the lounge.
Launching of a new TV channel is exciting to
the IF ians.


Giri is very busy. The launching of a new TV channel
is gaining momentum. The bureaucratic formalities are tiresome –
palming hands at every step is painful – thank God for the fortune
Roja brought from her alleged kidnapping – money is not a problem.
Having allocated responsibilities, Giri is now on to arranging special
previews for sponsors – when the sponsors leave the show,
their heads are reeling and shaking so much that it looks like an
'aye' for sponsorship – By the time, they could hold their heads
in place, Atina gets them to sign on the dotted lines!!!

Ho is serious about emulating Solomon Pappaiyah –
she is learning the exact slang and the voice
modulation. Rhodes is only too willing to teach Ho
the nuances - Ho : 'avuha, ivuha" Rhodes with a ruler
in hand : " enge marupadi sariya sollunga Ho, Avvuuha,
ivvuuha" - after a long time, Tamil lessons are back in

Caryn manages to sit far far away from this group – Tamil is
always elusive for her – she would much rather read the fanfics
and CKs – less cumbersome!!!

Pat is absolutely elated – at last the padavathi Muhurtham is over
– Rhodes was asking Qs about what happened to this ,this and this
character and Pat has no answers – coming to think of it, the director
himself has no clue to all those Qs – " ada vidungappa, epdiyavathu
mudinga nnu channel le kazhuthai nerichuttanga. thalai thapinathu
thambiran punniyam" – Ganga laments to his close friends!!!

Usha is dreaming. She is going to Kingston for her biomedical
program. Garuda Puranam may have to wait – but after the trip
to Indra logam, She cant forget the "one & only" powerful seat
of Lord Yama – "imagine holding the fate of all the living things
of the whole world …. .hmmmm"

Atina is in and out – suddenly she updates Bhandham –
she is taking it easy – might be a long time before
she enters the lounge with full vigour. Roja misses
Atina – her only support, the one who closes her eyes
to all the mischief done by the mad Roja – but Atina
has a trick up her sleeve!!! She wants to make Roja
the viewbie for 2 sections – She follows the old
adage " thirudan kaiyil thakkol kudukkarathu" which
when translated means " give the keys of the safe to
the thief" – she hopes to restrain mad Roja, well
people live on hopes!!!!

Niti, Supree and Vani are busy hunting for
sponsors. Niti finds this absolutely enjoyable –
"appada konja naal Thols kku tata kattalam"
Supree is very devoted to Kavi kutty – she is
monitoring the recipe thread like a hawk!!! Vani
has to go on vacation, but before that she wants
to rope in as many sponsors as possible.

Tamil is busy loading the road roller with pepper
spray, milaga podi Etc., As the losers push the
roller up the hill, their eyes are in for a grand treat!!!!

Sue is busy learning the tricks of the trade - childrens' program –
she is watching the dvd s of Anitha Kuppusamy – "enge amma,
ammmmmaaaa sollunga… mummy nnu sollakoodathu, sariya?"
Sue is slightly scared – the kids are very smart these days –
what if one kid asks her back " aunty neenga yen mallu accent
le pesaringa??? Tamizh…. Ta mi zh.. sollunga pappom".
Malarum Mottum will become Mottum Kuttum – Sue is able
to feel the pain of that kuttu, she winces!!!! Looks around for
Rhodes but Ho is catching on to Rhodes like a Udumbu!!!!

Jas is down with her Monday blues – back to work on Mondays
is always a sore point " wish I could get back on Tuesday" – then
the Monday blues will become Tuesday blues!!!! She got a call from
Roja two days back asking her to brush up her Russian – wk. end
saw Jas pouring over her Russian lessons - why Russian all of a sudden???

Roja is not in and the IF ians are too busy to notice
her absence. Jas gets a call in her mobile and listens carefully.
She eases out slowly – with out much ado. Where is she going??
Roja and Jas together?????

Ho, suddenly remembers about the flash news and recalls
Roja's lines after they all got back from the heaven –

"RKA has a break through – They have Roja's face –
but the world will never see it – RKA believes in absolute
secrecy with regard to their findings. Roja might get a visit
soon from KGB and end up in Siberia …. Who knows????"

Ho screams and the rest assemble around her.
"Hey guys, looks like there is some danger to Roja.
Jas must have had a call From her. Oh my God" – Ho
gets down on her knees and starts praying, Giri
is visibly upset "Roja akka illame na enna seyven?

Meli is deep in thoughts… "yanai irunthalum
1000 pon, iranthalum 1000 pon apdingara mathiri,
Roja akka irunthalum problem, illatta more problem..
hmmm, how is it going to be this time…." The wait starts……

Jas has been given strict instructions. The call
was made by a KGB officer – the whole conversation
was in Russian " we have your friend Roja in our
custody, she says that you know Russian, please
come to this spot immediately Please do not try to contact
or inform any one, the consequences will be dangerous to
all of you, you have 15 mins to reach this place" – tok,
phone gets disconnected. Jas has no time to think, she rushes.

The assigned meeting spot is an air field and an
out dated old Russian aircraft is ready on the
runway. Jas is lifted on to it and the plane takes
off. The interior is all dark and Jas tries to make
out the occupants. There are two burly men standing
guard near the emergency exits and Roja is seen at
the back seat – huddled and strapped to the seat.
Jas has never seen Roja like this….. looks in to
her eyes and suddenly Roja winks….. Jas is relieved
" it is our own mad Roj after all.."

After they are air borne for more than an hour Roja
mutters some thing to one of the Russians which
brings a look of shock in his face – Jas leans
closely and hears Roja Saying : ?????? which means
hello in Russian . Now, it is Jas' turn to look surprised
When did Roja learn russian??? Roja throws another bomb ,
she says : – ??? ???????? – roja which means my name is roja.
The burly men realize that Roja tricked them in to getting Jas
on board. They start talking rapid fire Russian – Roja does not
understand but Jas is quick to catch and translates to Roja
" this group must be a real terror; they defied Physics, cheated
one whole lot of radars and now speak Russian like natives.
What is the Russian connection and hope they do not have people
at high places!!" Jas and Roja construe that these guys are slightly
shaky. Now Roja is playing a different trick ; she says :
? ????? u ??????, u ????? ?????? DVD? Which
means " I like u guys, do u want to watch dvds? " The men
nod consent and Roja dishes out a few DVDs of Kasthuri
and Kolangal – surprisingly, they are sub titled in Russian.
The agents are glued to the serials and get totally annoyed
at the way the police, lawyers and the court dealing with
culprits like Salphetta, Ranganayaki, Aditya and others.
Their faces become red with anger and they are discussing
among them selves as to how these criminals would
be dealt with in Russian courts – esp in Siberia. Roja and Jas
sport a "pavam' face and the guys are only too sympathetic.
"Poor things, they are tortured so much every day; looking
at all this is actually worse than what we guys dole out…" Well,
looks like Roja has succeeded in engaging KGB to deal with
the likes of Thols and Rajeev Prasad. The next asthram from
Roja is : "??? ??????? ??????? ????? = It is too cold
here" Imagine the air craft is not even half way to Siberia!!
"? ???? ???????? ??? = I want to go back"

Now Roja literally has them eating out of her palms.
They shout to the pilot and he is made to turn back.
Roja whispers some thing to Jas and Jas has a nice
smile on her face ; Roja has exhausted her Russian
vocabulary and so Jas fills in: u ?????, ????? ? ??????
??? ???????? ????? ???????? ? ?????????? ???? u ????
??? ???????? ?????, ? ???? ??????? ????????& ; ; ;nbs p;
which means "do u want me to send you the rest of Tamil
serials?? if u give me a postal address, i can send regularly.
The men nod their heads again and are absolutely thrilled.
They want to show these serials to all their agents and use
it as a training ground for inventing new kinds of tortures
for their captives – "kathi yinri ratham inri oru torture, ahaaaa"
– Now, Jas manages to get the postal address of KGB –
Oh my God, there was a time when u could not take a snap
of KGB head quarters building!!!!!!

Well, the aircraft returns back to where it took
off from. Roja and Jas are chatting with the KGB
men as if they are bosom friends!!!! They bring
the men to IF lounge, introduce to all – the IF ians
are stunned – Giri is too quick – she takes photo
graphs of the men and Plans to use it for advts. –
Russian sponsors for our serials!!!!! IF ians make
conversation with the KGB guys – well, danceversation
to be precise – Tamil excels as usual, her manmatha
raasa is highly appreciated!!!!

Well, it is time for them to leave, they have to account
every minute of their time to the higher ups!!!! Roja and
Jas shout in unison: ???? ???? which means
bye bye: the rest of the IF ians Are quick to catch
this word – the lounge echos with ???? ????………..
