This is my new FF. I just want to know how people would feel. i already have 3 FF'S Soulmate, Luv 2 hate u, Back 2 the Nanda's. this is a complete twist.

INTRODUCTION

Ranbir and Kanya are married but not to each other. There is a 12 year difference in age. Kanya being 23. Ranbir being 35. The marriage is a loveless one. Kanya's is arranged while Ranbir was a love marriage gone wrong. Kanya is rich. Ranbir is poor. Both Ranbir and Kanya have seen each other on several occasions but they just pass by like the night and day. Always on the move.

Part 1

Kanya was sat in her room reminiscing her time as Kanya Godbole. She couldn't believe how fast 2 years had flown by as Mrs Kanya Rajeev Rai. The guy she blindly said yes to as her father wanted her to be married into class. She never believed in love as it was only for dreamers. She stopped dreaming the moment she saw all the betrayal in college. Friends cheating on friends. She also knew that her fate was sealed if she were to find her true love then God would find a way but she wasn't waiting around. She'd had first hand experience at betrayal. Her own husband Rajeev was one of them. Living high and fast. Not once looking at her with love but hate. A means to riches. But only problem for him was that he wasn't good at hiding his playthings. His women that he kept on flaunting. She tried tirelessly to change him but to no avail he wouldn't mend his ways. He even tried to lay a finger on her but she had her bodyguards that kept him at bay. She wasn't going to stand by and play the victim. After all it was the 21st century. Women were not weak but strong. She just didn't want to get divorced and hurt her family. Problem was it wasn't easy being a rich industrialists daughter who was always in the media's eye. Mostly for the positives. She had single handedly changed her fortune as she didn't have anyother choice. Her husband was useless and just wanted to enjoy his time. Rajeev Rai was an industrialist whose father's money was squandered away. He was in the paper's with one woman to another. He was a rich guy until he spent all his money on booze and women. Kanya only found out on their wedding night when she saw him making out with his bit on the side on their wedding night. Unfortunately he spent more time out than in. She would never let him touch her. Who knew what kind of illnesses he might have got with him. They had separate bedrooms. All she bothered was that her image was good in the public eye.

Her father Anand Godbole felt guilty for marrying her off to such a waste of space that he too was going in the same direction but as a drunk. Guilt had eaten him up too much. Pammi was too embarrassed that she never questioned Kanya's authority. Kany was soon spoilt and only saw things for her own gain. She'd become ruthless as the men in her family were too weak. Her brother Harry was too busy being an idiot. Like her husband he too had a thing for women but unlike him he wasn't a womaniser. He knew that Kanya would kill him if he ever did what Rajeev did. Kanya would certainly dump Rajeev as soon as she found the one thing in her life that was missing but until then he was her pet. She would make him suffer for trying to force himself on her. Her bodyguards made sure he paid the price for this. She even sent him to prison and had him beat up. She even had him sterilised to avoid all the supposed paternity cases that might arise. Rajeev was the one that wanted it to be honest. He hated kids. He called them brats. He didn't have no money but the allowance that was given to him for that month only if he was being good. Kanya also didn't want her mother to pester her about marriage. This one was bad enough. The first year was hell but she stopped trying to change herself and him as this was a sham.

Kanya was an excellent boss. She knew what she wanted and how to get what she wanted. It was all so easy. She was a free woman who didn't care about the world she was in. She gave her workers leeway to do their thing. Gave them a pay rise when they deserved it. Kanya wasn't as heartless as she was made out to be by her father-in-law but it was his son's decision to live in Kanya's house as a ghar jamai and reap the benefits of being associated with Kanya godbole. She changed her name back after she found out what her husband was like. She just wished her life was different. That maybe someday, somehow, it would change. She just didn't like all this waiting.

Ranbir on the other hand represented the other side of the coin. He was the complete opposite of Kanya. He was qietly strong. He knew what he wanted. He had married the love of his life Ekta Kapoor. She was normal woman. They had the same dreams and aspirations to make it big one day. They were high school lovers. They even had a daughter Esha the apple of his eye. Ekta was so much into money, fame, business than being a mother. Over the years Ranbir and Ekta just seemed to be drifting apart. She just couldn't bare the fact that Ranbir was into the hard grind. Making money the kosher way and by not stepping on anybody's toes. He believed in making his own way in the world. A proud man he was too. He saved up a lot just for Esha. She was only 13 but she had good insight and was a Daddies girl.

Ranbir was 33 as was his wife but they had somehow stopped communicating with each other along the way. They were young and foolish. They rushed things without thinking things out.Ekta ran strings round him and Esha was a little like her mother in that sense but she had inherited his charm. But Ranbir wouldn't change anything he had a wife that he loved or so he thought. Ekta had failed her college degree so she couldn't work but Ranbir had passed with flying colours. He worked in an office as just an office clerk as the jobs in management were given to family members.

Ekta was angry with Ranbir for not bringing in more money. It seemed like that was all she was after. She just wanted money, a bigger house, be a boss of a big company like Kanya. Ranbir wanted more children but Ekta wanted to keep her figure. Not that it mattered as she put on a lot of weight. Ranbir didn't mind he still loved her but she sure made it hard to remember sometimes when she would throw one of her infamous strops for not being able to buy a car of her choice. She was fed up of using buses. She wanted her daughter Esha to travel in style and go to a top school and achieve success in a short cut this woman was plain heartless and loved money than family.

Ranbir had done a lot for his wife and his daughter. They were his life but he felt almost trapped in his house. He had a big family. His mother was no more and same with his Dad but his brothers were there for each other. However their wives were a whole matter all together. Put them together in a room and they could skin a saint of all things pure just by bad talk. Rewa, Astha, Ekta were basically all made from the same mould. Money hungry. At least the brothers all had something in common their wives.

Ranbir had decided to shut his wife up by going to apply in a top firm like the Godbole advertising firm. He had seen it advertised in one of the papers at work and the pay was really good. So why not go for it. It was his chance to show his lovely wife that her Husband had more to him than just intelligence. Maybe this will make her see and love him the way they used to in college. He had to try anything. He wanted his family Happy and even if he had to work 2 jobs he'd do it gladly.
