Part 2

Ranbir's application is past and he has made it to the interview round. Ranbir walks it to the interview. Kanyas driver was speeding a little bit as Kanya has never been late but for some unforeseen events at home dealing with a drunk husband and brother were taking a toll. She was in a nasty mood. They drive along in the rain. The driver goes past some mud and with fate Ranbir ends up being covered in it. Ranbir is fuming angry. He had no time for going home to get changed the interview was in 20 minutes. He'd be there in 10. He didn't travel by auto or bus as due to traffic he could be late. Ranbir yells at the car.

R-R U guys blind? Dekh ke nahi chal sakhte?

The car stops. Anand Godbole was in the car watching the whole thing. He thought Ranbir was a dead man. Nobody spoke to Kanya that way and got away with it. Kanya too was fuming red. Her blood boiled. She got out of the car. Ranbir looked back and thought he saw the sickliest creature ever. She was so thin he couldn't tell if she was a guy or a girl. But she had great features.

K-Y R U shouting?

R-Dekh nahin sakhte kya? You're driver has ruined my clothes i have an interview shortly. This job means a lot. U rich people R all the same.

K-Yeh lo kuch paise. Jaake naya kapra kareedlena aur apni thobra go saaf kerdena. Lagtha hain tumne kuch suna nahin?

R-Ey madam. Apni ap ko samaj thi kya ho. Paise pekh ne se kuch nahin hota. Mera nokri ka sawaal hain. I hold u responsible. Plus don't insult me as a person with money. Anyone can earn money but with respect. Money is what makes everyone dance to its tune mujhe nahin.

R-Honge! I don't care. Now move out of my way. Sorry kehne se kisi ki izzat kam nahin partha but tum to ziddi aurat ya phir jo koi bhi ho tumhara get up se lagte ho tum shayad pichle janam ek mard te. Aurat banna seeko. Logo se ache tareeke se baat karna seeko. Usske baad ake mujhe jo kehna chahti ho mein sun loonga. Filhaal mujhe jaane do.

K-OY U jaanwar ke aulad. Kya samaj te ho apne ap ko. Mujhe tum jaise ko tik karana ati hain. Dobara mila to jaan se maar dalunga. Ghar mein hain tumhare jaise namoone.

R-Trust me! Mere jaisa sirf ek hi bana hain. Jo karoge dekhlonnga. Par i never want to see your bayanak chehra. I think game over don't u think. Ha Mr job hi ho. Ap please is Madam ko tori sib hi manners sikhaye duniya mein chal ne keliye thori si dil chahiye. Teach her about Love and compassion. Mere jaise jaanwar ke paas dil hain issile mashwara dehrahi hoon. To is pathar ko phiglana bohut mushkil hogi mowm banana. Good day

K-Kya kaha mujhe. U. U. U. Stupid Bandar.

R-Yeh lo tumhare paise aur use leke ek naya personality aur dil kareedke lana. Oh yeh yeh to muft me mil tha hain. Well anyways actually. Yeh lo keechar tumpe lagadiya hain maine. Mu bi saaf kardi muft main. Bye.

Ranbir goes to a shop and just gets himself a new shirt and tie. He goes to the office of Godbole industries and gets to the mens toilets and gets himself cleaned up. He didn't look bad. Looking at him in the mirror. He was officially 20 minutes late. At least he kind of looked presentable. Kanya too looked good but she was in a foul mood. Her busy schedule was even more busier because she too was late in the first time in 2 years. She felt like killing that bhoot. If only she'd seen his face clearly but she recognized his patronizing voice anywhere it was still ringing in her ears. For some reason she hated the fact that she loved the way the guy stood up for himself and didn't care who she was.

Anand Godbole saw Ranbir clearly and was hoping he'd be the guy to show Kanya the meaning of love as she had lost faith in it due to all the horrid things she'd seen. The next person he saw he knew it was Ranbir saw Anand got Kanya to get out clear her head while he took the next interview. It took a lot of persuading but he got there. Kanya had left.

Ranbir gave his resume to Anand. Anand didn't even bother looking at anything just gave the job on the spot. Signed, sealed. Ranbir thought that was a weird interview but accepted it any way. As he was on his way Ranbir bumped into Kanya again. She'd been pacing up and down the hall way. Ranbir was just ecstatic he didn't look where he was going.

R-Sorry Maam. I was just too happy. (He looks up and gets the shock of hi life)

K-Tumhara awaaz kuch jaana pehchaana lag raha hain. Main tum se pehle kahi mil chuki hoon. Tumhare aankhen?

R-Bahar mile tena!

K-Tum next time dekh ke chalo. It's not a playground jaha pet um dor sako. (Kanya was thinking hard. His voice. His eyes. She could see him in her head.)

R-Ok Miss.

K-Keechar. Tum. Of all places. Tum yaha phe bhi ageye? Kya chahte ho tum?

R-Nothing miss. I came for a job. I got it.

K-Oh no U don't. Mujhe insult karke u can't get a job. I will make sure of it. If i ever see u in this office again. I will kick u out got that.

R-I know my rights. I will sue u! I have a contract.

K-Dad! Kaha margaye sab. DAD!

A-Kya hain? Itna chilla rahi ho kyun?

K-Is ghade ko apne job di kya? I want it TERMINATED! ABHI! ISSI WAQT!

A-Beti. U know i can't do that. Ranbir tum jao. Kanya he can cause us millions. He has a job here. A contarct. If he is doing his job well he can't get fired! Zid mat karo.

Ranbir left with a smile on his face. Her own father had outplayed Kanya. Ranbir had a new found respect for the guy. Having a daughter like that he was just glad his wife Ekta was just money hungry and not spoilt but the when he thought and put the two together the thought made him shake. Ekta with Kanya God he'd die before that would happen. Kanya just screams in frustration. She hates losing. She never lost. Even if she did she always had the upper hand. Kanya had an idea she would make him suffer for insulting her. She would make him pay just like her husband was paying for messing her about. Nobody messed her about. Nobody.
