Chapter 5

Flashback

Kripa and her cousin Kanza were at Madam Tussan Wax Museum looking at the waxes.

" That time there was a cartoon hero special going on there". Kripa tells Angad. " I was taking pictures when all of a sudden a guy screams " WATCH OUT" and I look up and see that superman falling where I was. I was so shocked thinking that today was my last day when I see that same guy holding me up and I just staring at his handsome face".

" Hi I am Kevin Singh, are you okay?" Kripa just stares at his face until he asks the question again. " Uh..oh yea I'm fine by the way I'm Kripa Sharma". " Okay" He puts her on the floor when she starts complaining that her ankle hurts. " Which one?" " Um...both". He picks her up and takes her to the limo.

In the limo he was massaging her feet while Kripa on 7^th heaven. " Would you girls like anything to eat". " No thanks" Kripa says politely. " Sure I will take Pepsi wait no I will take sprite, potato chips, and kitkat" says Kanza happy like a 5 year old while Kripa gives her the you-are-embarrassing-and-eating-like-a-pig-look. " Um...Kevin if you don't mind me asking are you Indian". " Well only half". " Huh". " My dad is Punjabi and mom American". " Oh okay". Kripa is so happy.

" Why would you ask someone that?" Angad asks. " Because when I was 6 years old...

You see a 6 year old Kripa in Church praying " Dear God, I do want to marry a Indian , I want to marry a white American. Thank you God"

"Wow that was stupid" Angad says. " Whatever loser anyways where was I before I got rudely interrupted" giving Angad the look.

" Kevin carried me to my bedroom and dropped me on my bed and left. When I remembered that I needed his number and I ran back downstairs to the street when he was already gone. The next day when I came back from work and I went to my room there was bunches of flower bouquets and chocolates and there was a letter saying

Dear Kripa,

Please get ready by 6PM by driver will come and pick you up.

" When I reached there it was so big. The inside was so beautiful. When I reached his cabin he was there in his desk looking so hottest man in the universe in his black suit."

" Why did you call me here" " I called you here because I want to make a deal with you." " Which is?" "The board of directors want me to ask you to sue the museum but I don' want you to do that." " But why not" " Because if you do that our relationship will be lawyer and client but I don't want that I want to be husband and wife" " How much will we get if we win the case" " About 10 million dollars" " Dang that's a lot" Kripa whispers " How about if you do the case and no matter what it won't affect our relationship and with this we will be able to get to know each other better"

In the court you see Kevin fighting for Kripa's case and they win and they Kiss of Love
