hings were better than before & the atmosphere was eased out. No worries & no more stress.They were just waiting to meet Naina.Shalini suggested them to go back to academy & take some rest & come back later but they insisted to stay back…….all of them except Raj.He said he needs to go back to academy. He had some work……though he returned in just 2 hrs. He enquired about Naina & got a satisfactory reply. She was recovering……still unconscious but there was nothing to wory about.
Naina was shifted to the ward. Everyone wanted to see her. It was such a relief to see her in front of their eyes. Hours passed by…..but they were not smooth though not painful as they earlier were.
Pooja was in tears "Its all because of me".She was sorry for naina's condition & was repenting for being rude to Naina…..the girl whom she once called her best Friend & she has proved that she was a true friend.
"Kya hua hai teri wajah se…………." finally Alekh spoke. He was quite all this while.
"Kyun tujhe Naina ki yeh haalat dikhayi nahin deti kya"
"Punjaban…. Apne dimag ko jaasti kharch mat kar….vaise bhi upar waale ne tere ko dimaag hisaab se hi diya hai"
"Aankhen khol aur dekh kya hua hai teri wajah se…………..aaj itne dinon ke baad hum sab ek saath hain….pehle ki tarah….tere ko yeh dikhai nahin deta kya??"
"Aur raha sawaal Naina ka, woh theek hai……bilkul theek.Samjhi"
"Alekh is right Pooja.........Purani saari baatein bhool jaao. Its time for you guys to make a new beginning of a Friendship that will remain for ever "Rajveer tried to console Pooja.
"C'mon Pooja ab apne Shahrukh ki baat to tumhe maanni hi padegi, Haina??"Shalini made a successful attempt of making the atmosphere a bit lighter.
Another hour passed by, but Naina was still unconscious. Finally she moved...She moved her finger & then her hand.Everyone took notice of that. Shalini asked them to stay back.Naina was coming back to her senses but something was not rite. She looked in pain....her expressions were changing....something was reeling in her mind. She was in a semi-conscious state. For the nxt 5 minutes her face showed that she was in pain...she was restless & she was moaning.....there was a drop of sweat on her forehead. Something was disturbing her peace of mind & Rajveer knew what it was. He rose & went to her.......Shalini was not able to figure out what was wrong with Naina....Suddenly she opened her eyes & said something...........something that was so weak that even Shalini could not comprehend even though she was standing very close to her. But Rajveer knew what it was.............." Bhaiyya......"
And then she saw him........her Captain Sir. He sat next to her on the bed & softly wiped out those sweat from her forehead & gave her a very reassuring smile......she was feeling better....much better.
"How r u feeling...Cadet Naina 'Ah' Singh"
Naina could not help it now...a sweet little smile came on her face.
But d nxt moment that smile disappeared & she had a question ready for her Rajveer sir.
"Sir......"
"You did it Naina" He didnt even let her complete...he knew wat it was.
"Mission Accomplished Cadet Singh...congratulations!!!"
"Academy has accepted that your brother was not a traitor & very soon the whole country will come to know that......you brought him his lost glory"
"Tumhara Bhai aur Mera Dost ek Shaheed hai Naina.........Captain Navin Singh Ahluwalia is a martyr....and its all thanks to u"
There was a Pride so evident on her face........she was smiling though her eyes were wet...........& gradually tears started flowing out.........she has been holding so much of pain within her ever since she lost Navin...it was coming out. She was hysterical.
Alekh came closer "Mat ro Naina.......ab sab kuch theek ho gaya hai....tu jeet gayi hai Naina.Jis pal ka tujhe kab se intezaar tha yeh wohi pal hai....isko aise apne aasuon k saath mat behne de."
"Yes Naina...this moment is yours...Hold it forever" Raj said that with a heavy heart....but Naina could not control her outburst.......
She was exerting herself & she needed to calm down. Shalini asked her to calm down & when she realised Naina wont be able to get a grip over herself, she put her on sedatives. She needed lots of rest.......within next few minutes Naina passed out again.
Everyone walked out of the room when they were sure that Naina is fine except Shalini.......Naina was fine but Rajveer was not & Shalini wanted to know why......It was bothering her now.She needed to know what was going on in his mind & she went out to confront him.
