*******CHAPTER - 1*******

PART – I

A

t KMA they were always told that a wartime situation is always different from the mock drills they do & they all knew it. But it was the first time dat they could actually feel & understand what it meant & the difference was not what they thought it was……………..it was far beyond their imagination. They knew that they had the courage but they realized that they were still not ready to face it but as of now they had no choice. Their senses were not working. Their experience & training of last 14 months at KMA felt useless. They didn't know what to do. The secret that KMA held…. the people who ruined Navin's reputation & Naina's life were exposed. They were the people who were training them to be good soldiers but they themselves turned out to be traitors. KMA ground was looking like a war field of the sorts. All the cadets were trying to figure out what actually was happening there & what they should do but their senses betrayed them.

Nair & Ritu were trying to escape. Ritu had a file with her dat had all the proofs Naina required to prove her brother's innocence. Dat was Naina's target……the only thing she wanted at that point of time…………. the only thing that could bring an end to all the pain, all the misery & all the hardships that she has gone through for quite sometime now. Naina couldn't have let them escape with that file. She wanted that at any cost.

Naina & Alekh were making frantic attempts to stop them but all in vain. Nair had a gun & he was firing recklessly. He didn't care who was the target of the bullets fired by him………he had to escape. BC had seen the file & he knew everything. Nair knew he was doomed…. the game was over. So he was doing what he could……..he was running to save his life.

All the other cadets were looking for a safe place. All they could understand was that they need to protect themselves & d others. Brigadier Chandok & Captain Rajveer came running from Brigadier Chandok's office after they heard the firing sound.But they were late……….

There was a gunshot & a shout POOOOOOOOOJAAAAA…………

…..& it was followed by a scream, loud & painful……………………..

& A silence took over…………………….

PART – II

here was a complete silence…………everyone's heart was beating faster & louder than the usual, their eyes were fixed at a closed door in front of them that read "OPERATION THEATRE". Lot many things were going in each & every mind but no one spoke a word. They just hoped nothing goes wrong after this.

Suddenly the door opened & a doctor came outside. Everyone hurried towards him.

"The bullet was deeply penetrated in the abdomen. Next 36 hrs are crucial. We can't say anything before that. ………..we are moving the patient to the ICU"

"Just keep praying" saying this the doctor left.

Dr. Shalini came out of the OT along with the stretcher & signaled the ward boys to head towards ICU. She went straight to Captain Rajveer. She said nothing……..but she looked disturbed, worried & helpless. Her face said it all. She herself didn't know what was going to happen next. They couldn't do anything but wait for next 36 hrs. They were already there waiting & praying for last 10 hrs & knew that they have to do that for 36 more hrs.

All the 5 cadets, Raj, Shalini & Neelu, who joined them after Yudi called up at home, assembled outside ICU. They could see her lying there still & unconscious. Suddenly Rajveer's phone rang. It was Brigadier Chandok. Even he needed to know what was happening over there. Rajveer didn't want to answer the phone & silently handed it over to Shalini. She told Brigadier whatever she could.

"Ok Dr. Shalini. But keep me posted."

"Yes Sir"

"And one more thing…..inform Captain Rajveer that I have already sent that file to military board & very soon Captain Navin will be free of all the charges. Cadet Singh was right…….Her Brother was not a traitor….He is a martyr…."

Shalini passed on BC's message to Captain Rajveer but he didn't say anything. He was still quite. But a tear rolled down his cheek. All the pain he was going through was so evident on his face. It was getting difficult for him to contain his pain within himself but he knew he had to. He tried to speak something but he could not. After a small pause he could manage to say only one sentence……."I have failed again Doc"….& his voice was shivering, weak & hardly audible………….& then unable to control his tears from flowing down he left. Shalini stood there watching him go. Her eyes were wet for the person lying inside in an unconscious state but her face had a faint smile because she could feel & understand the unspoken sentiments of her Best Friend & his favorite cadet.

Shalini sat there praying that nothing goes wrong & after almost an hour she saw Captain Rajveer coming back…he looked better, though he was still tensed. He sat next to her with his eyes closed……Shalini put her hand over his shoulders trying to reassure him dat everything is going to be fine………….he opened his eyes & looked at her .He could manage only a faint smile & closed his eyes again. Soon he was lost in some thoughts. Something was going on in his mind…….Shalini could see that!!!

THank you sooo much for such over-whelming response.I m sooooo happy.I m sorry I wanted to answer each of youindividually but my net connection is not allowing me do that.
As one of you sed that it looks like an extension of the show,well actually even I wanted to create it as an extension bt I started working on it about a couple of weeks back & there has been some changes in d story on the show so somethings might not reflect here.Bt those will be minor things like:
1) Tho Ali,Pooja & Huda hve started realising their mistake of late but they'll regret it only now.
2) Shalini is already aware of the fact that Raj is in luv wid Naina & completely respects that.
3) Story will be centred around naina but All the cadets will have their part.
4) So obviously story is goin to be a long one.
5) There was a luv quadrilateral between Raj,Ritu,Naina & Huda.Ritu is out bt who gets Naina out of Raj & Huda.....keep guessing.And do not underestimate Huda.

Ne-ways here'd the second part.Hope u guys like it.
