I agree, Kavi! Naina is such a lost cause. I tried...like really tried, but I just cannot feel sorry for Naina or understand where she is coming from. Forget about apologizing, she is comparing her situation to Veev's and trying to justify her actions. And what exactly is this new drama about exchanging vows. More importantly why is Inder throwing a fit about it?

I am also a bit mad at Vi. Why does she keep saying she married only for Satyen's sake? Granted, he was one reason, and an important one for agreeing to marry, but would she have married Rakshit if Satyen had insisted? Also, why did she even tell Naina about it? Naina has so much hate in her, she won't think twice before disclosing it to others if she feels cornered or threatened.

yup same thoughts why does she keep saying she married for Satyen sake..she liked Ranav and they even went along before and because of their individual background and naina specifically they broke up..and why can’t Vi tell that truth to naina instead?

interesting that naina is married and acting all Nonchalant about it..the girl doesn’t care about anything and I fear she will reveal about Vi in this process which will hurt Satyen..

Inder and Naina took their vows in Dubai. But Naina is telling she and Inder broke up while Inder is telling they are married. What is Naina up to and why is she so jealous of Viveka? She keeps asking Viv why did she marry Raanav. Viveka told her they married because of his sick father. I am sure Naina is going to tell her parents about Viveka's marriage. Why does Viveka keep telling Naina about her marriage?

I agree with you Gauri. Would Viveka had married some other guy if Satyen had asked her to? And can she sleep with a guy for whom she does not have feelings and enjoy it? Would she have gone off to a honeymoon if she had married someone just for Satyen's sake? Does she not care for Raanav even a tiny bit?

And to say that she only married Raanav for Satyen, yet enjoying a good sex life him, why is she degrading her character like this?

About Viveka's obsession to set things back with Naina and win over her affection again, I am sure now Viv is crying thinking about how this will affect her parents. After few days, she will be back to begging Naina to accept Viv back into her sister's life. It is almost like whatever Naina does will be forgotten by Viveka but whatever Viveka does will never be forgotten by Naina.

Rather than the secret revelation to me this update once again is about we humans and are weaknesses that we are not saints and are not perfect. We generally are blind to our own faults.

It is not about Naina or Smrita or Ra whose flaws and pettiness are easy to spot. It is about the lovable,good soul like Satyen (last chapter blind to his own role in encouraging Smrita pettiness over the years) and Viveka today.

Yes Vi says she married Ra for sake of Satyen's health which is true. But would she have married any guy whose ill dad wished that ? Or is that inspite of Ra's low opinion about middle class, she is drawn to him, be it physically or the verbal intellectual debate they engage in? Otherwise why get upset and tell Ra that his mom wants her tube to be tied. It is temporary should be happy that there is no unwanted pregnancy.

Vi is a matured woman,comfortable in her skin..look forward to how she goes about accepting that our decisions are not black and white there is a lot of grey in it.

Regarding Naina...I am sure there is more to this supposedly Dubai wedding. Hopefully she will realize that by saying "I am 30" means that you are mature. For that it means that if you have issue with your parents behavior you cannot blame your sister for it.

Also that your needs and values cannot be of another person. Referring to marriage to Ra is because of his wealth ..a statement for a sister of 30 years. 🤦

This is even worse now. Inder and Naina got married and didn't tell anyone. What do they think they will gain by hiding this? It would have been better to just come out and disclose it.

Bicycle & Scissor kicks

“Please don’t tell Ma yet” she whispered

“Kya HUA?” he became irritated he yanked his lustrous salt and pepper hair

He sat down by her she leaned and whimpered

“Papa please don’t tell Ma”

Tum kabhi nahi roti ho kya hua beta? Raanav theek hai?”

She cringed when his name was mentioned

This was one of her FIRST conversations with Raanav Parashar at Bua’s study, and at Jaipur

He probably will think I knew about it and had helped Naina and asked her to lay low and break the bombshell news

OMG… what will I say to her

“FYI your husband might have used bicycle kick and a scissor kick to win a game here tonight”

The word husband triggered her she covered her eyes with her hand

Naina has a husband now too

“Papa when Naina went to Dubai with him… she might have married Inder Dhamija”

“Kyyaahh… kya kyaa?” he was standing up almost thundering

Dadu and Dadi slept in Naina’s room, Ma and Naina slept in the master bedroom

The twins had their room anyway

Papa and her were going to have a docu marathon night

Papa was too busy gossiping about work with someone so they never got started after dinner

Papa paced the bedroom

“Kya kiya hai is ladki ne

“I was told Inder is angry she broke up… and reminded his family she married him… sorry I don’t know if he is angry or anything bas itna jaanti hoon usne apni family ko kaha, my mother in law … umm… (simps) she swallowed and adjusted her language my MIL loves Mamiji so I am sure she is very mad

“Main uska pita hoon mujhe abhi itna gussa aa raha hai I don’t blame Inder’s Mom for one second beta”

Viveka sobbed into her hand again

“AAP kyon ro rahe ho, jisko rona hai who soyi hai”

“Papa I don’t know what Ma will say”

“Who to main bhi nahi jaanta beta”

He sat down nervously on the edge of her bed without looking and almost fell she flew and grabbed his tee shirt and pulled him up

The thud was heard anyway

Ma showed up a few minutes later

“Baap beti maara maari kar rahe ho” she smiled walking in

She did not miss Viveka’s face

“KYA HUA?”

“Baitho” Akash hissed

“Kya hua?”

“Papa… let her sleep”

“Is Veev OK? Kya hua?”

“I am fine”

“Raanav?”

“Phir wohi baat?” Viveka scowled

“Aapki chhoti bitiya Dubai mein Inder se shaadi kar chuki hain” Akash whispered shuddering

“KAB?” Anubha was stunned

She stood up turned around and faced Viveka who was leaning on the headboard

Her husband was texting her

God!! He looked delicious she thought… sweaty and flushed he still looked gorg

“Naina ne kaha?”

“Mmm.. mmm…. My MIL texted me”

All color left Anubha’s face

“How did she know?”

“I think mamiji told her whe”

“Naina ne Mamiji ko kaha”

“Ma she married him…. As a prank… I HOPE it was…. I mean I don’t know anything”

Viveka felt emotional again

“What is she doing to herself

“Tumhe uski chinta hai?”

“What do you want me to say Akash?” “I wish she goes to hell?” Anu was angry

“We have another daughter married into the same family did you think about her?”

“She married him because she loves him, so I don’t think…” Anu was not convinced but she said it anyway

Viveka wondered how long it was going to be before Smrita told Raanav

Satyen was with them as well

How was he going to react? Probably the calmest of all

He always found humor in everything

“Nothing that cant be solved over a steaming hot bowl of khichri and papad… hai na beta?” he had smacked his lips that night

Ma an d Papa were arguing in hushed tone

“Ma…. Stop yelling at papa” Viveka ordered

“I am not I will not have him say nasty things about Naina”

“Aap jagao usko, aap Papa ko data rahe ho”

“Nahi data rahi beta” Anubha was choked up

“What are we going to say to Bua and Dadi and everyone else… I bet your MIL has already texted Bua”

“Worry about what if her MIL says she doesn’t want anything to do with mathurs altogether and she ends both marriages

It stung Viveka not sure why

She texted Raanav with nervous fingers

“Raa.. Naina has gone off and done something… did you hear?”

She saw ……

“What about it?”

“You know?”

He called her immediately

Viveka stumbled out of bed

Her eyes filling up with tears

Anu got up to follow her

“Baitho…. Baat karne do usko, there is nothing you can say to Raanav right now” Akash spoke like a fatalist

Viveka grabbed a throw from the living room divan and let herself out into the balcony

“Where are you?” he growled possessively

“Ma ke ghar”

“Not in the middle of the street with a broken car?”

Mazaak tha?”

“How was your day?” he asked quietly

She was out in the balcony now after fiddling with the lock opening and now shutting it behind her

“I heard Naina and Inder exchanged vows while in Dubai “ she blurted it out and held her breath

Her tears flowed freely

She sniffled

“Tumne jo baat kahi middle class ko lekar who sach ho gayi” she laughed weakly

He just hung up

Naina's worldview comprises of what she has, what she wants, what she deserves, how everyone has wronged her and how everyone owes her.. bas.

I'm unable to understand if she has no realization of how wrong she is or she just refuses to acknowledge it.. playing the martyr to have an upper hand probably? That too, only with her family.. since they're the ONLY ones trying to reconcile and make reparations with her! She's done that before with her family, so she's clearly not above doing that!!

The guy wasn't willing to marry her!! Just what could her parents have done? Kidnapped Inder and made him marry her at gunpoint? Like those incidents from UP and Bihar? 😆

Infact, if I'm not wrong, after their return from Dubai, Akash asked Inder about marrying Naina.. the guy just gave a vague, non-committal answer! Just what is up with the two of them? 😡

She constantly implies that the only reason Viveka would marry Raanav is for the wealth! Why is she so offended then that the Parashars and Dhamijhas think of her as a floozy! 🤓

Veev has told her numerous times that she's attracted to Raanav and loves him. She refuses to accept that explanation, loves saying you married for wealth, to spite me, yada yada but is willing to accept this reason?

Why? Because it holds Veev in a poor light? So, it's more acceptable?

So, so true about human nature!! Phew! 😒

Smrita makes me want to whack her.. HARD! I don't trust her version of the story one bit. N and I may have married properly for all we know and she could be just downplaying that issue to dramatize this.. 😡

Naina Smrita Lekha Rumi Mami are piece of same cloth. They shame their dear ones.

Viveka needs to for once think of herself. She should be fair to Ranaav too. Stop taunting him. He is too into you and taking baby steps in changing.
