i think i wanted to give benefit of doubt to arnav here...from day one when khushi entered his life...he was sure about two things he felt different about khushi which he never felt before and second no looking back towards lavanya...and till date he is sticking on both points...and he told this to khushi also..infact very point is khushi or no khushi he wanted to get divorce

trust is the most important factor in love...and khushi needs to trust arnav here...kabhi kabhi ankoon deekha bhee sach nahi hota...arnav saying lavanya those words in the end...it can be from a friend's pov...yes he did tried to work out his marriage...he loved aarav...he was there trying...and before there marriage they both very close friends too...so his words not that shocking for me...cause seeing how good human he is ,..he tried from his end one last time to show reality to lavanya...things changed now,thats true

yeah i know khushi being selfless trying her best not to break any one's heart but in this all she is going to hurt herself and her biggest source of happiness ,her love ,her arnav...i don't know y i wanted khushi to stay and give support to arnav ...he is saying he ll fix all...he is fighting all to keep her out of this mess...

rest arnav did very well with manya and lav will not go much there...and yes TRUST the strong pillar of heart matters...

khushi's out burst was what i was waiting for... im rellay furious wit her paernts...how can they listen to manya n blame khushi...

oh so khushi witnesses la and arnav... but did la get discharged???

so finally divorce is done but may be khushi is unaware of the reason for la's visit?

Oh Arnav...feel sorry for u...he must be guilty for pulling khushi in his messy life...plus all the other heartache he already went through in his marriage and loosing his son 😭

Dear writer,

This is one emotional ride of the story where one can feel for all characters without any judgement. Every character is right at its own place and as a writer you have played significant role in depicting each and every emotion of each and every character of this story. You have depicted it eloquently that I can feel for Lavanya, Manya and even how Anjali must be feeling when her baby sitter is not there when Anjali is the most insignificant of the character in this story.

The complexity of this story is due to many reason. A married man's second chance all encircling the morality of the society and its norm is so tightly weaved that its difficult to take things apart. There is not a single moment in this story so far that I have not felt tug of war between my own heart and brain.

Although Khushi is at the receiving end of the story at this point and time and i do feel a lot for her as she is not the one who should be going through so much pain and turmoil in a day however i feel a bit more for your Arnav here. He has made his stand very clear yet everyone including Khushi is not able to justify him. He is torn between his past and future making his preset a hell. He wants thing right for Khushi and yet she due to her own morale and standards is making life difficult for both.

I know being Indian origin in North America ignoring parents is very difficult but it was time that Khushi spoke up and am glad that she snapped at her mother. Hope her dad does not do something stupid to make her feel worst yet again.

Since this is my first comment on your story will also convey that i loved your description of Kashmir and their first meeting in Saffron Field. Now this will be added to my to visit place😃

PS - your prologue said about ordering coffee from Timmies in Cleveland. If only i could find one TH there.😳

while i like that she finally let her mother have it 👏, i hated the ending where she goes all self sacrificing making all the decisions. why should she be surprised if there were moments of love between a couple that lived together for almost 3 years? really is that worth hurting the man you love over? hell if he couldn't find it in him to love the woman in his life even a little bit, what kind of man would that make him? very immature decision on khushi's part. based on your note, she is going off to india, well shame on her for running away and not facing down her fears

As for Arnav, he also deserves 👏 ... for finally telling the crazy, whacko sister and Lavanya that he wants signature on the divorce papers. And the fact he said, its more to protect Khushi, was the icing on the cake for me.

Oh and this line below...

"Yes, Lavanya, there were times when I loved you, when I tried hard to hold onto that love. But you wouldn't let me...you never made it easy for me".

@bold red... I am guessing that is because he wanted to make the relationship work for Aarav's sake, but La and her demented brain wouldn't accept it, which means that love did not get far or wasn't what he feels for Khushi... that is what I am going to believe, and keep smiling because I just loved loved loved this update!

But Dr Raizada has a lot to make up for now, he better get ready to win back and find Khushi to give her the happiness she deserves after the pain she had to go through...

Overall awesome update, felt like things lined up perfectly for the journey to take a leap towards some better time... Let's go, I am ready!

Ah well... the frailties of human nature more real than that pseudo infallibility that we seem to expect from our heroes and heroines.

Finally Arnav took the papers and this was it...I loved when he said,..I can't do this to Khushi anymore ...

Time will bring good moments back ...their love is strong and will go through it all...

That was such a melancholic update, leading to Khushi walking away or rather flying away from here away from her family & Arnav.

Manya, well she does not want to accept the mistakes committed by La, but instead wants to blame Arnav & Khushi to suppress her anger against what La has done to one and all.

Neville, has taken the right decision. He had wanted to help La as a friend and probably more and hopefully he will succeed to bring her out of all her problems which she has created for herself ever since her Mom passed away.

Khushi's Mom unfortunately has not stood by her nor wants to understand her even to the extent Anitha has. It is truly sad like Khushi mentioned that, her Mom decided to take a third person's view into consideration.

Looks like La has Finally Signed the Divorce Papers. She has come to drop the signed papers at Arnav's place and to say her final good bye to him. Though she does take one last chance to see if she can be part of his life, which was luckily vetoed out by Arnav. He has finally got a hold of his thoughts and knows how La manipulates.

It is unfortunate that Khushi had to hear a part of their conversation though saddening that Arnav mentioned he tried to Love La. Though it is possible he loved her as a Friend and nothing more. But still Khushi heard things she did not want to when she was at her Lowest point in this given situation with no one to lean on.

Hopefully Khushi will start afresh in Allahabad and come out of her guilt which has been imposed on her by people surrounding her. Arnav will follow her once his Divorce has been granted and not before that.

Beautifully written, with so many people's emotions to project.

@bold in red... Oh yes I so agree, which I mentioned earlier but it's unfortunate this is what it took for her to see the reality. Though it seemed to be in the back of her mind, and perhaps love made her glance over it.

Now all I want is for them to be together, I love Arnav and Khushi in this story... I just want them to be able to build their life together. It will be baby steps, but they deserve it after the tsunami they have had to endure...

There are hopefully good times in store for Lavanya and Neville, for everybody deserves happiness.

Lavanya will hopefully sign the divorce papers and indoing so liberate herself and Arnav from a marriage which really needs to end.

Arnav calls a spade a spade. I'm happy he gave it back to Manyata. She deserved it for all the piison she spewed.

And Khushi told her Mom some home truths.

That was needed and now I feel a little relieved that Khushi is going away from this crazy life.

She will hopefully find peace when she goes to Ahmedabad.

Arnav telling Lavanya he loved her once should not be an issue, in my opinion. Hewas married to Lavanya and there must have been some shared happy times between the two and with their son. For they were a family, even though for a short time. And nobody, not even Khushi should begrudge them that, specially when she was not even part of the picture.
