Arnav calls a spade a spade. I'm happy he gave it back to Manyata. She deserved it for all the piison she spewed.
And Khushi told her Mom some home truths.
That was needed and now I feel a little relieved that Khushi is going away from this crazy life.
She will hopefully find peace when she goes to Ahmedabad.
Arnav telling Lavanya he loved her once should not be an issue, in my opinion. Hewas married to Lavanya and there must have been some shared happy times between the two and with their son. For they were a family, even though for a short time. And nobody, not even Khushi should begrudge them that, specially when she was not even part of the picture.

You say is so beautifully here.. and I totally agree with you. I love the way you put it.. "And nobody, not even Khushi should begrudge them that..." Thats the point. He was trying to make something that was so difficult work. Isn't that what a good person would do in that situation?

What can I say, I like this fellow.. :)

Two people in this story r giving me heart ache and head ache... It's not Lavanya actually... It's Manya and Khushi's mom... She is one of the most detached moms ever.. If not support her ,, she doesn't even acknowledge her ...which shows lack of trust .. for her own daughter?!?.. That's not fair.. She should at least talk to her before making assumptions.. And Next Manya,,, she's really something.. I mean I am trying hard not to get really furious at a fictional character here;)... Lastly,,, this update left me hanging .. Arnav's last convo with Lavanya scared me... I m sure Khushi is lost... Please update the next one sooner...
U r an amazing writer!!! This moved me..

Charu, I dont have an issue with Arnav hugging La and saying that he had loved her once but the main issue which emerges here is more of the trust between Arnav and Khushi.

Arnav clearly had told Khsuhi that his marriage with La was always a compromise right from beginning to end and it never lead to love. Then how would Khushi feel when she hears from Arnav's own mouth that he loved La once.

wish Arnav and Khushi talkd a bit more. Am glad that Arnav finally was able to put some sense into la's sister... she needs to stop advising others and start helping her sister..
Not sure why Khushi's mom spoke thw way she did,,, sujatha was already reluctant abt khushi n arnavs relation and a third person saying out her views is like addin oil to fire... but very happy that atleast khushi let out how she was feeling.

Arnav is also very unlucky , why does la has to be there in his embrace when khushi finally came to seek some warmth from him...

I remember Arnavs words from prev updates that he tried to hold on to the relation but la was not helping...but am not sure if he mentioned all thos to khushi or it was his monologue...

khushi seein them like that is the last nail in the coffin... she will be devastated now... her glucose levels are already low, hope she doesnt faint while driving..
i really hope Arnav will somehow gets to nkow tht khushi was there and talk to her before it too late:-((

Superb update. ⭐️ Really felt for khushi. Poor khushi, she seems so lost as she is so restless, upset and unsettled. The timing was so bad that even when she went to Arnav's place to seek solace , there also she felt like an intruder when she heard lavanya and Arnav talking. I think that both her mom and her dad have been very cruel to her as they didn't even give her a chance to explain herself and pronounced judgment, thinking the worst of her. They seem to not understand their daughter at all, that she is going crazy in her misery. Her parents seem too selfish here. I hope that Arnav realizes somehow that khushi had come and then reaches out to her again. Really looking forward to the next update. 😳

And @bold/red - yes, I agree.. totally.

Don't you think Khushi's ambivalence is a bit late? It seems that her reality bit her only when *&^% hit the fan.. If you are in for a penny, then you are in for a pound I thought you know.. in love?

Ah well... the frailties of human nature more real than that pseudo infallibility that we seem to expect from our heroes and heroines.

Agree with you, MB. If you love someone, you don't run away whenthe going gets tough. And Khushi is really immature if she thinks Arnav lived with Lavanya for three years without them sharing a few happy moments. For when you marry someone, you try to make the marriage work specially when you share a child!
Khushi didn't give Arnav a chance to atleast talk to her before she ran away. I am really disappointed in her!

Damn it, YES! I agree with you, the three of you wholeheartedly. I'm sure Arnav and Lavanya shared some tender moments, as painful as it is to hear for us Arnav and Khushi fans. They had a child together, and they were friends. Although things have gotten really bad, it's nice to end things on a better note, and I'm glad Arnav was willing to do that. Unfortunately- I have known people like Lavanya, who find it very, very hard to let go. I'm glad she's taking steps towards moving on- with a lot of support, a lot of love, and good people around her, I hope she will be able to find happiness again.

Khushi, on the other hand- I am really proud of her for stepping up and putting that much needed statement to her mother. As her mother, Sujata should have had faith in Khushi, in the way she raised Khushi. However- at the same time, I too believe she should have given Arnav a chance before running off.

Jenny, you have done a really fantastic job weaving characters that conflict with us. Loved the chapter!

Jenny.. take a bow..This was a superb update.

And Choti.. @red - yes, they had a child together... yes, it was through Lavanya's lies and deceit. But as 1chilly put it, they were a family, for a short period of time. And being parents is what that was about.. Arnav trying his best to provide a semblance of normalcy for the child that he didn't father. Even after he found out about Lavanya's lies, he was a father to to that little boy and continues to be one in his grief.

So.. will Khushi rise out of the simple black-white definitions of love and family that she seems to hold? Will she grow up emotionally to understand what Arnav went through? May be this break will not be a bad thing for all of them.
