I am really happy you started this story, because it is something I haven't yet read before on arhi. Which makes this story all the more special, and the fact that you portrayed Khushi as a strong independent soul despite loss of sight in her life is truly commendable. Your side note was just a cherry on top because I know you will do full justice to this story. I am glad I decided to read this story. I think from the title itself, I had a fair idea of what might be the concept and I am happy I wasn't proven wrong. I am all for out of the box stories, especially stories which touch on realism. There is no greater stage than life itself.

I read both updates combined. Beautifully written.

The story started with a misunderstanding right off the first ch. which was the result of a certain secretary taking a early leave. Although that still did not give ASR the right to behave as he did with Khushi. He was crude and abrasive, which could have been avoided. I am glad that Khushi's parting shot clearly impacted him enough to make him rethink his curt ways. It came as a surprise that he did not fire Nita, I thought he might. 😆 I am intrigued by this Arnav.

So, he along with Anjali landed up at Khushi's doorstep? Interesting.

I like that Shyam is positive. The image of a loving brother suits him very much. He is thinking about Anjali, huh? It's so of adorable how Khushi read his mind.

I am sorry for the late reply, I wanted to read it properly and comment, hence the delay.

Hmm glad to see an Arnav who realises his error but the best part for me is that he is already making amends to rectify that mistake.

Arnav is feeling guilty for what he did and it is the effect of this guilt, this regret over what he did to Khushi that he let go Ms. Grewal quite easily without giving in to the first temptation of being angry. The time when we understand our mistake is the time when we remember the old incidents with warnings, advices flying in front of our eyes. Arnav loved his mother very much. And after behaving badly with Khushi he remembered her words. Better late than never!!!
I guess the other conversation was between Shyam and shashi. Shyam obviously after seeing the scene which he witnessed as they entered Arnav's cabin would hold Arnav guilty. Any brother would.
Ms. Grewal got lucky this time and I hope she won't repeat the same mistake if she knows what's better for her.
The past incident when Khushi had closed herself in a room is still in dark. I hope we get to know about it as the story progresses. Shyam is a protective brother and keeps his sister happiness and comfort before himself. Is it just work relationship with Khushi? I don't think so. Khushi is ignoring Arnav and its natural.
I loved Shyam-Khushi bonding over snacks time.
Lets see how Shyam & Khushi reacts to Arnav.

Lovely update. Khushi is one hell of a strong woman, bouncing back like that. Not to mention coping up with a disability like that n still living life with zeal. Kudos to her.

n arnav is repenting. Good for him, he should really do this from time to time . Will help him in loosing his akduness a bit.

So Arnav is feeling very guilty for his outburst on the innocent Khushi. He should be and he even forgave the journalist due to this. Interesting.
