hi firstly sorry sorry and 100 sorries for the delayed update-all gaali s accepted .. i was stuck with a lot of stuff and when i got time i sat and read all other stories...laziness had caught up buut here it is- finished transferring the story from my brain to the post . hope its okay.

Most importantly she had broken the ice with dance. he was so proud of her . and he missed her more- he wished she was in front of him

the mobile rang as if on cue- taani , he smiled and received it-

part 42

"this is so not done taani, its unfair" he began without a hi.

"maine kya kiya?"

"main kabse tumhe miss kararhaan tha and now you send me this cd " he looked at her on the screen," and i feel like..." he didnt have words to actually say what he was feeling. She waited and then asked nervously," aapko achha laga?"

"no bohot bura lagrahaan hain" her face fell," ki you aren't in front of me for me to show you main kitna ...khush hoon" her face cleared ," im so proud of you ki tumne give up nahin kiya"

"tho aap itne dull kyun sound karrahe ho? dance teek ..."

"bcoz im missing you more now , main aarahaan hoon" and got up ," ab phone rakho"

"rey...rey... nahin matlab mera do companies ke saath kaam hain kal, main free nahin rahoongi "

"so?? kuch bhi karo..cancel karo , im leaving now" and took out his bag

"rey...aapka bhi performance hain "she tried again

"thats three days away , tab tak .." "rey.." " taani im coming,no more arguements" and cut the call, started packing quickly.

She stopped , looked at the mobile and wondered what to do..two offices kya karoon? But then...she smiled she would be seeing rey, itne dino baad ...she missed him more.. suddenly, he was right, these calls and chats weren't enough... they didnt give the feel of being in his arms and blushed at herself. Par unhone mere dance ke baare mein tho kuch bhi nahin kahaan and picked the mobile but stopped jab aayenge tab poochloongi. She felt a sudden lightness of heart and calculated, he would be here by ...time. tab tak kuch complete karlethi hoon and opened her laptop with an expectant smile and doubled enthusiasm.

Few hrs later- late in the night...she had hardly got through any work dreaming when mobile msg-rey- hi sorry wont come, will ccall later. Somethings come up. She read through twice before it registered, staring at it , her spirits went down and all her expectations came up to her throat in a huge lump, call kyun nahin iya unhone? Kya kaam aagaya hoga..main karoon? And called. It rang for a while, no answer. Maybe rehersals ki uch baat hogi, waise bhi yeh performance unkeliye bohot important hi tha, agar wo ad waale log is performance se impress hojaathe hain tho...kuch baat tho ban sakthi hain.. if not academy atleast kuch bada stage performances ya videos... she sighed , swallowed her tears and tried his number again- switched off. She frowned its okay taani..just one more week, dono next week free hain tho tum jaasakthi ho she consoled herself and shaking her head msgd him back call back when free ...stopped and then love you rey. She missed him so much more just now

Next evening taani s apartment

Taani looking a little worried , mobile ring- she picked it up in hurry-rey!

"nahin aashi here" " oh sorry hi aashi, main aapko call ..."

"aap pahunch gaye kya?"she asked sounding off

"kahaan?""yahaan, Mumbai"" nahin main wahaaan kyu..? Kya baat hain ashi? Itna upset kyun ho?"

Aashi frowned "aapko pata types nahin hain?" "kya?" taani suddenly scared," hua kya hain?"

Swayams place next evening ( background story- swayams hurt like in the serial head injury but not so serious , SS howver patch up as sharons worried etc., and gang gets to know about them)

Bell ringing, rey walked from inside and opened the door , taani stood at the door

Taani came inside - worried and angry, ignored him and walked towards swayams room throwing her bag on the sofa . rey s face had lit up in happiness on seeing her but her ignoring him wiped the smile off his face.

" taani!" he walked fast and held her elbow before she could reach the room,"listen"

"chodo rey"

"swayam so rahaan hain..abhi kuch dher mein uthega tho dekhlena, don't disturb .."

"main swayam ki behen hoon disturbance nahin. Aapko tho hamesha yaad rehtha hain ki main swayam ki behen hoon, jab unko chot lagi tab yaad nahin aaya? aap hothe kaun ho decide karnewaale bhai ke baare mein " all her anger of past few hrs came out

he knew she would be angry but he was still hurt at her words . He attempted to be calm ," taani wo so rahaan hain. awaaz neche rakhogi?"

"mera ghar hain. main jitni chahoo utni oonchi awaaz mein baat karoongi"and shaking his hand off, opened swayams room door and then stopped at the sight in front of her.

Swayam was on the bed fast asleep and Sharon was sitting on the floor , her head on the bed near swayams, her hand holding his hand. Taani s eyes widened first in surprise and then got clouded in worry and turned to rey who was right behind her-"he s fine, isiliye tho discharge hua hospital se. Don't worry" he whispered in her ear close to her," infact hes more than fine" she moved a little away from him and turned to look at the peaceful scene in front of her and as she again caught sight of their hands entwined felt she was intruding on something private and moved back not realising that rey was right behind her, banged into him. he held her arms and smiled understanding what had just gone through her head, she didnt return the smile," im sure swayam uncomfortable hoga if he knows ki tum usse abhi dekh rahin ho aise" he whispered again," lets go out" and pulled her outside, she went with him without resisting to the front room.

Once in the front room, she shook her arms free from his grip and started moving towards her bag, he beat her to it and said," im sorry"

She smiled grimly , clear meaning like you actually care and tried to take the bag from his hands , he left the bag as it fell back on the sofa an held her hands in his instead saying," i know ur angry, u have to be but im sorry. I didnt want to scare you without knowing how bad his injury was and phir jab wo hosh main aaya tab Sharon aur uski patch time hogaya and everyone was really excited .. then meri mobile off tha so i couldn't call you aur phir we had to request ki hum apna performance kal ke liye postpone karein and by then aashi ne kahaan ki usne tumse baat ki so...main subah se try karrahaan hoon taani tumne mera ek bhi call attend nahin kiya hain.. ..?"

he explained hurriedly somehow knowing that she wouldn't be convinced.she didnt attempt to take her hands back but smiled wistfully again ," i guess ismein bhi mera mistake hain.."

"no..please itna mat upset ho, swayam teek hi hain. agar kuch serious hota tho i would have called you ...first"

She started laughing and as he looked confused, pulled her hands back from his, bent , picked her bag and said, " jhoot, aap kabhi mujhe first nahin call karenge bhai ke liye! " and turned away ," in fact sirf bhai nahin kisi keliye bhi main first nahin rahoongi but its okay rey. Mujhe aadat hain and thanks for taking care of bhai " she moved towards her room

Rey movd quicker than her and blocking her way held her again and said in a hurt tired voice," main nahin chahtha tha ki tumhe kuch takleef .."

"rey main bachhi nahin hoon, main itna handle karsakthi hoon but chodo im glad ki wo teek hain aur sab kuch teek hain unki aur Sharon bhabhi ke beech"

"look, im sorry mujhe laga ki agar tum aaogi tho Sharon yahaan nahin rehpayegi" she frowned at him," no i mean tum rahogi na to take care of him, if you weren't here, Sharon ko koi excuse nahin milega and un dono ko time saath mein milega bas... i knew ki tumhe bura lagega but they ..taani un dono ke beech itna kuch wrong hua hain k ii didnt want to lose this opportunity bas..im sorry. Sach mein.." he left her arms and ran his hand in his hair feeling lost and tired

"agar unko akela hi chodna that ho aap kyun ho yahaan" he looked stumped for a second but he had been a witness to their relation for so long that he didnt matter- he knew he couldn't tell taani that now . she continued ," aur aap mujhe yeh samjhaa nahin sakthe the?"

"isiliye tho subah se call karrahaan tha but..." both stared at each other , rey tired and taani upset," sorry" he repeated

She sighed and moved to him holding his hands in hers said softly ," itna saara sorry mat kaho, achha nahin lagtha. Instead mujhe thoda aur trust karo rey. Main shayad slow hoon par itna dumb bhi nahin" she smiled a little.

That was enough for him, he pulled her into a hug, holding her tight. She dropped her bag and hugged him back sensing his tiredness and the relief that she had forgiven him . she stroked his back comfortingly .he pulled bac and kissing her on the forehead ," thanks taani phir se" and kissed her again," and i don't know tum yeh kab accept karoge ki mereliye you come first, sabse pehle"

She smiled and replied," pata hain rey but only jab hum dono ki baat aathi hain tab. unfortunately aapki world mein main akeli nahin hoon, wo bohot bada hain..." and stopped ," rey main aapki dance ki baad aathi hoon yeh main accept karchuki hoon" he was about to open his mouth but she placed a finger on his lips and continued," par main aapki dosti se bhi peech hoon yeh accept karna ..its a little difficult" she smiled a little sadly and without letting him speak ," but i think u are tired and aapko rest karna chahiye"

"taani..its not like that.." he kissed her finger on hislips. She smiled and interrupted him,"shhh... bas rey. Bhai teek hain , thats enough for now. Abhi aap ghar jao and yahaan main hoon, ill manage. Aapki performance kal ka important haina" and hugged him again. He hugged her back knowing that he had let her down but not knowing how to make up for it ...
