taani making something, Sharon walked in
"good morning Sharon bhabhi ! " taani s face broke into a huge smile
"morning.. swayam ko actually ab medicines dena tha but wo so rahaan hain" Sharon thinking."...tho main ek kaam karthi hoon ghar jaake ready aajaathi hoon and then usko medicines..."
"aap ek kaam karo.." taani interrupted her,"mujhe batake jao ki kya aur kab dena hain, main yahin hoon tho dedoongi..aapka performance preparation sab changes karna padega na bhai bhi nahin hain " Sharon hesitated," agar chaho tho call karke check karlena ki maine teek se diya hain ya nahin" taani continued
"no no" Sharon suddenly was embarrassed," okay fine listen " and taking out prescription explained to her," and kuch aur problem ho tho yeh..doctor ka number"
taani nodded ...both of them looked at each other not really knowing how to break the ice and then Sharon left. taani continued to smile at her dreamily kitna care karthi hain, finally!
And shaking herself- aashi se baat karlethi hon pata nahin kaisi hain

Evening swayams room
Taani talking full spree sitting on swayams bed corner, swayam looking stressed siting up leaning on the pillows, bell rang and after a min rey walked in to hear taani saying
"...tho bhai main kya kehrahin thi, naani maa ko pehle se mat batana. Nahin, bata bhi sakthe ho bas Sharon bhabhi ko saree pehna hoga.." she smiled happily dreamily ," but wo kitni beautiful hain ki wo kisi bhi dress mein achhi dikhegi..achha bhai ek baat bolo, aap jaanthe ho Sharon bhabhi ki ghar mein ..."
Rey expecting to see an upset worried taani was surprised to see her enthusiasm for a moment but then obviously swayam ke liye tho khush hi hogi and felt a fresh wave of happiness for everything
"REY!!!" swayam called out to him , his voice sounding like he had found his savior. Rey walked in, hi fi ed him , waved to taani whose smile wasn't very open at him and sat next to swayam asking," how are you?"
"chakar aarahaan hain"
"arre tho phir tumne doctor ko.."
"doctor nahin , tu isko yahaan se baahar le jaa bas " pointing to taani, taani pouted," tum log itne din se mile nahin ho na, tho please jao . go out, have some fun and leave me alone" his voice sounding harrassed
Taani gave an extra innocent look to him,"itni dher hogayi hain bhai... Aur phir aapko aisi haalat mein chodke main kaise enjoy karpaaoongi. Mujhe kahin nahin jaana" she said, talking dramatically
"oh shut up taani, just go"rey looked from one to the other questioningly - didnt really get what happened. Swayam turned to him irritated
" subah se itna saara plans bana chuki hain meri life ka ki mujhe chakar aarahaan hain" rey looked at taani who was looking like she didnt really know why swayam was complaining. Swayam continued," i mean abhi tak ek affair ke start se pehle sau baar break up ho rahe hain and shes planning for kids and their kids schools..."
"bhai maine sirf bachho ki baat ki thi, uske aage nahin.."she replied seriously
"oh thank you so much..baksh diya"sarcastic swayam and pointing to rey," tuje jo plan karna hain iske saath karo, leave me out " swayam muttered - bachhe! Uugghh missing the quick look that rey and taani shared at his comment and taani s blush..then looking at taani, "ab humein chai milegi? " he snapped
"cmon swayam...itni pyaar se plan karrahin hain.."rey tried not to laugh loud
She got up from the bed looking irritated and walked in a huff till the door while swayam shook his head at her back and turnig to rey- "pyaar se? i mean wedding list banarahin hain...crazy " rey laughed ,"kya crazy.. kitni cute hain yaar!" swayam made a really? face
Suddenly from the door there was a voice-" aaj banarahin hoon, aage se mujhse apne doston ke liye chai mat poochna..sharon bhabhi ko bolo " taani had come back and said in some attitude, hands on her waist making rey stare at her admiringly
"kya kehna hain mujhse?" Sharon s voice from behind taani , taani s attitude disappeared and she turned looking like a student caught imitating the teacher. Swayam catching her change in expression and taking revenge-" taani ko tumse kuch kehna tha" grinned at her," go on taani, subah se mere saath itna kuch..."
"nahin..kuch nahin ..sharon bhabhi aapko chai chahiye?" Sharon shook her head , taani went running quickly from there... rey and swayam burst out laughing , falling over one another..swayam very happy he had gotten back at taani for teasing him ... Sharon entered the room looking at swayam and asking r u ok?has kyun rahe ho?
Rey looked from one to the other, got up and saying,"u guys catch up main ..."started walking lot of noise from outside," sab aagaye?" he asked Sharon who nodded
"tu kahaan jaa rahaan hain?" " chai banane "rey grinned at swayam and walked out winking at Sharon.
" aaj ke baare mein tho bataaa.." "next week tak wait karna hain result ke liye " he said walking out.
Kitchen- taani preparing chai. Rey came in from one side and stopped quietly watching her for a second , remembered her teasing swayam and felt a huge grin come on his face..god..she was cute..
Taani was humming to herself smiling - thank you krishnaji, sab kuch teek karne keliye. Ab sab aisa hi rakhna bhai ki zindagi mein- she laughed happily thinking of all the teasing that she had done and remembered swayams irritated face -aur Sharon bhabhi ki zindagi mein bhi... loud noises, she looked around, lagtha hain sab aagaye...aashi ...
Rey was about to enter in when aashi came in from the other side and stopped
"aashi!" taani went and hugged her, her smile replaced by a relieved look . aashi s eyes filled a little and she hugged her back. rey a little surprised stood and watched wondering what happened, "kaise ho?" aashi nodded ok ," aashi i don't know ki main ..." stopped not knowing what to say aashi s controlled tears started flowing, taani hugged her again , made her sit on a stool nearby and let her cry, her own face reflecting aashi s distress
"sorry " aashi said in between her crying," main teek types hi thi bas aapko dekh ke thoda.." showed little with her two fingers ,"..sa sad feeling sab ..."taani nodded," main khush bhi hoon swayam ke liye ...aur thankfully unko zyaada chot bhi nahin aayi hain ...bas ..."oh aashi liked swayam. Rey had forgotten it in all the excitement of SSpatch up
"...thoda sa..." taani repeated with her fingers making aashi smile a little ," i can imagine ki aap ko kaisa lagrahaan hoga..." aashi looked at her
"kaise taani , break up ki time pe atleast aapko pata tha ki rey aapke baare mein kya feel types karthe hain"
"nahin wo nahin,matlab...jab rey ne mujhe pehli baar reject kiya tha tab .."she swallowed, rey remembered," tab itna difficult tha roz roz unke saamne jaana, unke saath kaam karna.."she stopped for a second , " its ...bohot dard hota hain yeh jaanke ki aap ki koi importance nahin us person ki life mein jo aapkeliye sabse zyaada important hain..aur uske baad bhi unke baare mein wahin feel karna..." both of them exchanged an understanding look," i really know.." aashi nodded . rey stood still listening
"sorry taani, main jaanthi hoon ki aap khush types ho aaj aur main hoon ki..."
"nahin aashi, please don't say sorry. In fact im proud ki aapne dance kiya aaj.."
Aashi smiled grimly," uskeliye thanks aapka, agar subah aapse baat nahin hothi tho bilkul mann types nahin tha dance karne ka..."
"Kya??" reys voice ,he moved towards them making some thing fall down and make noise - both the girls turned to the noise, saw him and looked at each other
"aap chupke hamare baat sun..." taani began
but rey interrupted her looking at aashi," dance nahin karna tha?" and moved nearer to her," do i know you?" aashi looked at him confused ," jis aashi ko main jaantha hoon wo dance ko kisikeliye bhi nahin chodthi...?" aashi looked up at him and he leaned on the kitchen slab "dance se tumhaara confidence hain, tumhaari sabse badi pehchaan hain, aur itna sab kuch kiya hain aashi tumne dance karne ke liye, seekhne keliye...flash mob yaad hain? india fest ? " he shook his head, aashi sighed and felt her eyes go moist again.."and i knew one aashi who always ...always has a huge smile..jitna bada uska dil hain uthna bada smile hain." taani smiled slightly at him while aashi looked down at her hands .both taani and rey offered her tissue at the same time and looked at each other, aashi looked at the tissues and then at them exchanging glances and took both, wiped each eye with one of it and all three smiled.
Aashi stood up and rey gave her a hug meeting taani s eye with a smile," aashi..." he began again
"im fine rey" aashi interrupted him clearly indicating that she didnt want to talk more "yeh sab taani ne mujhe sunaa diyaa subah ..but phir bhi thanks "
"thanks mat kaho, hum dono hi selfish hain, hum nahin chahthe ki jo mistakes humne ki hain dance ko lekar koi aur bhi Karen" rey replied smiling at taani and taani smiled agreeing to him," aur tum meri... "
"aapki ex girlfriend hoon" aashi completed her grin back in place, all three exchanged looks and burst out laughing , the tension in the air broken "main partner kehne waala tha but ya...wo bhi"
Aashi smilingly picked up one chai cup saying," main swayam ko dekhne jaarahin hoon ...yeh kiski hain?" sipped the chai , spit it out just as taani said, " Sharon bhabhi ke .."
"unki naam ki chai bhi itni garam hain" she muttered, rey and taani smiled , aashi moved with her chai cup outside.
"aashi.." taani called out ,aashi turned," jab Sharon bhabhi aapko kuch bhi sunaayegi,aap mujhe hi call karoge na?" aashi nodded, smiled and went out.

Rey and taani stared after her back for a moment admiring her happy nature , rey in front and taani behind him. rey turned and found himself hugged - taani had put her arms around his neck..he hugged her back..she was conveying something which he couldn't understand but he hugged her tighter anyway ...it had been so long that they hadn't met.."aap teek kehthe ho..call ya chat pe yeh feel nahin aatha" she whispered making him smile and kiss the side of her head," ab kaisa feel aarahaan hain?"
" jaise ki saari world mein mujhse zyaada lucky aur koi nahin , jaise ki meri saari world yahin hain.. aapke paas" still in his arms
" mujhe laga ki tum naaraaz hogi? " He pulled back and held her face in his hands
She shook her head in his hands still and placed her hand on his,"thi but...im sorry rey.." rey Surprised,"kal ke liye... jo maine aapse expect karthi hoon ki main sabse first rahoon aapki life mein wo sab.."
"usmein galat kya hain? its natural ki as a girlfriend.." he frowned
"no, aashi ko dekh ke mujhe realise hua ki hum ko jo mila hain usse hum satisfied hona chahiye , itna sab kuch hone ke baad bhi hum saath hain..."
He laughed his fingers stroking her cheek ," what nonsense! Uski aur tumhaari circumstances alag hain..kal meri galthi thi.." and placing his hands across her shoulders," in fact main aashi ko dekhe yeh soch rahaan tha ki main tumhe kitna hurt kartha hoon " she shook her head," but seriously sweetheart tum mereliye bohot important ho and mera intention ..." she smiled
"ab chodo, itne din baad mile hain aur aap yeh kya kya..hum saath hain bas, mujhe wahin kaafi hain"
"par mujhe tumse bohot kuch chahiye" and smiling turned her around, ran his thumb on her lips , kissed her putting into in all the suppressed feelings of the past month and a half that he hadn't seen her..her hands holding his hands moved to clutch his shirt in a fist as she felt a newness in the kiss- it was different this time it reminded her of the first time he had held her close in the rehersal hall and as he pulled her closer his hand around her waist , she forgot what she was thinking...his mind went blank to the world as he pulled her closer and felt her holding back a tiny bit, she always held back a little ..just as he broke the kiss for a breath ...there were loud noises, talk coming from a distance making both of them come back to swayam s kitchen where they stood from the world where only the two of them existed.
