It just felt right. The story, it's flow, the characters, their lives, the end, everything. I don't even feel qualified or deserved to comment on this yet another masterpiece. I am going to miss you. Period.

OMG Jen...I am so so so so very sorry. I kept postponing commenting cause I was a little busy and am feeling so bad now that I am so late. I hate my habit of procrastination :( I should take inspiration from you. You were so regular inspite of your family commitments. I admire you for that.

I had planned to comment and say that while reading Ch5 I felt I was watching an episode of Criminal Minds and I was totally convinced Arnav was the serial killer. During Ch6 I realised maybe I was wrong and Arnav was a secret agent. I was also damn angry with Arnav for what he said to Khushi. Ch7 made me happy that Khushi was innocent and totally blameless. Ch8 made me content that finally Arnav and Khushi made up and would be together forever.

Hey,

Another story by Jenny. Intoxication...

Just read the story yesterday. I enjoyed going through the updates. This story is so different from anyone I read before with different settings. I wonder why you choose those years in particular. does it have anyting to do with reality?

Arnav has gone through a cruel past breaking him into pieces, and he could not recognise himself anymore. What can be worse than this?

Khushi too has been through a lot of suffering, having a husband who cheated upon her, and use her to help him unwillingly, then leaving her to the harsh life to fulfill her human needs all alone.

If Arnav was lying at first, then his words became true. Her eyes couls intoxicate him and he could not stop himself, forgetting his actual intention of being in her samll apartment.

When two broken hearts and souls met, they were each other's saviour.

Nani is as sweet as ever.

You know what? I'm studying 'Macbeth' this term. And the lines you mentioned here, were explained by me to the students. What a coincidence!

Hatts off for writing such an amazing piece 👏

I really wanted to read more of this story. Anyways, it's wonderful :)

Hope you will be back soon.

Take care

Shaimaa

Nice! But it ended too soon. The ending is realistic in not dealing with declarations of unending love. Both have made mistakes in their past but have something worth living for in the future, Arnav more so than Khushi.

oh jenny jenny jenny, this was awesome, marvellous and magnificent. oh my girl, why did u had to take a break after this. i am so gonna miss you more now, after reading intoxication.
it is a class apart, a class in its own if compared with all of your other works. spot on and awesome display of the 60's, the suspense, the need to believe, deception, hurt and darkness.

i can truly understand why did she went ahead with him despite of knowing that he was lying to her and all his compliments were fake because she so wanted to hope and did not wish to miss a change at fulfilment of that hope due to her misery, cowardice and mistrust.

the 2nd last chapter made me shead 4-6 tears because i was so moved with it and the whole story.
amazing experience.
thanks for it,

The title Intoxication' should have prepared me for what was to follow but because I treaded without caution I was stumped by the premise. The prospect of a Khushi in a seedy bar, gyrating on the tunes of some song was a whoa element in itself, but it was the clash of the duo that was absolutely dhamaakedar'! From the blatant eye locks, to the tempestuous kiss and the revelation of the past of ex Major Raizada, there couldn't have been a more power packed first chapter.

And then there was the intrigue factor in the form of the alleged murders. With the needle of suspicion pointing towards several people, I was kept on my toes for most part of the time.

Minutes ticked by and soon it was time to sleep but letting go off this story was just not possible. You could chalk it down to the sizzling chemistry between the duo of Arnav and Khushi, the vulnerable yet strong Khushi, the mysterious Arnav or the surprise factor in the form of Shyam, but this one ensured not being put down before it was read completely.

P.S. I like for a fact that your stories are built around the protagonists and although there are supporting characters playing their role to the hilt, not including characters from IPK helps in prevention of things getting overbearing, which sometimes comes with the additional cast.
