You did a good job nothing to be unhappy about it. But yeah make sure you are happy with the next update before posting as you said it is on Vikrant-Sarita...I don't want their confrontation anything but less.

Don't know, dear! Kids are unwell! 😔
And deepavali is coming up this weekend! 😃 Will try to update one part tomorrow, another probably on Tuesday, dear. I am having guests over for a few days. So I do not know if I will be able to upload consistently next week 😕

Next one will be a long chapter too and it will have ViSa in it for sure. I have sketched the outline for it. 😊

Finally caught up with all the parts of your FF.. loving how the story is goingand hopefully Saita will explain to Vikrant what happened and clear all the misunderstandings in the next part.

As Vikrant saw Raj move closer to his wife to grab her hands, a strange sense of jealousy set in. He felt ashamed to be having such feelings for a person who was going to abandon him and his son.

He moved a little closer and aimed the revolver at them. As he did so, he caught the fag end of their conversation. Raj was murmuring a 'Thank you', while Sarita said that he was welcome and was urging him to go.

"Go where? And why?" He wondered. "Did she get wind of what he was about to do? Did she know that he was here, following her?" He hid behind a tree with his revolver raised, a little more closer this time, so that he could listen in to their conversation.

As Raj turned to leave, he smiled and asked "See you around?"

Sarita smiled and said, "Sure". Both of them unaware that Vikrant was watching them.

When he heard this he was confused. What was happening here?, he wondered. Were they not supposed to be eloping to Dubai? He saw the visa papers and overheard their conversation as well, he thought.

But this did not stop him from training the revolver at them. He just could not think straight. This time he heard his subconscious self asking him, "What the hell are you doing? Has the rage and anger blinded you so much, that you are ready to cause extreme harm to the person whom you love a lot? How can you think of taking a life? And leave your son motherless and fatherless? How will Abhi react if he ever came to know that you killed his mother? How is it going to help Abhi when you are in prison? Do you want him to grow up in an orphanage just like you did?" it screamed.

There were a range of emotions coursing through his veins. Finally the shame set in. Shame upon himself for even thinking of taking a life. Not one, but two. He shook his head and gradually lowered the gun. A lone tear escaped his eye, which showed the heartbreak and helplessness he was facing. Heartbreak because he was so in love with her, helpnessness as to how to prevent his son from heartbreak.

He told himself, "You have got to compose yourself, Vikrant! For your sake and for your son's sake. This was not how you handled things! You are VIKRANT SURYAVANSHI! Handle it with your head, not your heart!" With this thought he built a fortress around his heart again, so that no amount of penetrating from anyone would bring it down. He needed to protect himself this time and to hell with others, he thought.


He looked up to see Raj leave and Sarita lost in some thought. He saw that she had a dreamy look on her face. Now what the hell was this new drama about? Were they not going ahead with eloping? Did Divya come to know about their plans? Did they meet tonight to come up with a back up plan? He wondered. He had to leave and ponder upon this, before he did something that he would regret, so thinking he left without glancing back at his wife.

Sarita heaved a huge sigh of relief as RajJi left. She could not contain her happiness anymore. Things finally started to look up. All she had to do now was to confide everything to her husband, Mr.Akdu Suryavanshi. So that they can start their life this time with no secrets, guilt or any past baggage coming between them, she thought. That brought a strange sense of contentment to her heart and a smile to her face, and she went on to dream of all the beautiful possibilities, standing right there.

Little did she realise that there was now a major barrier between them, in the form of a fortress that her husband had already built around his heart.
