Chapter 6

Anjali saw arnav following khushi to the kitchen. She immediately got worried. She didnt know what happen between these two if they are alone together and her brother should not say anything which could hurt khushi. She had got enough of the hurt from this house. She followed arnav to see what he wwnter from khushi. He can show anybody that he dosen't care about khushi or he dosent feel anything about her, but she is hie sister, she could very well see through his facade. Now is the time to put some real facts in her brother's mind, what he is denying from the past two years, now is the time for him to accept the truth.


Anjali stood behind the pillar to listen to their conversation. She was shocked of the revellation about the relationship between payal and khushi and the cause of this is again chote, because of the decision he took two years back. She saw khushi leaving the kitchen and saw arnav standing in the middle of the kitchen numb, motionless as if he turned into a stone. She left from there, back to the living area and sat on the sofa, all the time keeping her eyes on the kitchen door to see whether arnav came out of the kitchen or not. After some seconds she saw arnav walking out of the kitchen and climbing the stairs looking lifeless, like he is not there mentally.


Khushi lost her sister because of me. I destroyed her life. She thought me a monster. She hates so much, but why cant i see any emotion in her eyes, not even hatred . It is like i dont even exist fir her. Like she has erased every memory of mine and dosent even want to keep my memory in her mind, not even a bad memory.




Arnav started walking out of the kitchen with these thoughts in his mind and climed up the stairs to his room. He sat on his bed and put his head on his hands, immersed in the thoughts of khushi, when entered the room.


"Chote" she called him, standing at the door of the room.


Arnav raised his head from his hand and looked at anjali. " Yes di come in, why are you standing there. Do you need something."


Arnav watched as anjali closed the door of the room and came to stand in front of him. Arnav stood up from the bed. " What do you want from khushiji chote?." She asked with seriouse expression on her face.


Arnav turned his back to anjali. "What are you talking about di, I dont understand ?. What would i want from khushi" he said in even tone.


Anjali put her hand on his shoulder and turned him to face her. " That is what i want to know chote. How long will you pretend that there is nothing between you and her chote." She asked angrily.


" What do you mean di?" said arnav, his face devoid of any emotion.


Anjali narrowed her eyes and crossee her arms around her. "Why did you followed her in the kitchen? "


Arnav's eyes widened for a fraction but he quickly put his mask on his face. " I didnt follow her di. I wasnt even aware that she was in the kitchen. I just wanted something from there that is why i was in the kitchen. This is not what you are thinking di."


Anjali put her hand on his arm as she asked " Really? And what explanation do you have about the question you asked to her chote. Why you looked like that someone hit you , when you got your answer from her. What do you want to say about it chote? Let me tell you one thing chote, dont think that i dont know what you feel about her and it is high time that you accept this reality and stop denying it. If you dont accept it, i am afraid chote thwt you will loose her. You have only six months chote, or you will lost her for forever. Do you understand what i am tekling you chote? " she asked him shaking his arm.



Arnav walked little further in the room and stood in front of the french doors staring in front, hands in the pockets of the trousers. " I have already lost her di. Didnt you listen what she said to me. What she think about ne. She think me as a monster, well she is absolutely right about this. What i have done to her, only a mojster could do such thing to anyone. You should have seen her eyes di, when she spoke all these things to me, her eyes were emotionlesss, cold, not even hatered was there in them. I have lost her di. I disent even exist for her di. " he said in a low voice.


Anjali walkes upto him and stood beside him and said in a strong voice. " I didnt know my brother was a person who accepts defeat. I thought he fights for what he want till the end and you surrendered even before trying even once. I am very disappointed from you chte. I have never expected this from you." She turned to his face. " You are Arnav Singh Raizada chote, who never accepts defeat. Remember that chote." saying this she left a determined arnav in the room.


" It was so good to have khushiji in the house after so long, dont you think so" Akash said to payal,walking in the room.


" Yes it was, but she dosent even talk to me properly akash." said payal with somber face.



Akash's eyes hardened. " Oh dont tell me you care about her, you forgot what you did to her. What do you think ,she will hug you after that? " he said sarcastically.


Payal looked down." I will miss my family" she said in low voice.


This angered akash. " Ofcourse you will miss YOUR family but dont be so selfish atleast you have us here with you and she is alone there in canada. Atleast think about her for once payal." saying that he left the room banging the door of the room shut.
