Alas, the voice of the house shares his thoughts...

As a father, and a witness to most of the events that have taken place in the past, he wants his daughter to move on, hope, dream, and love...and escape the reluctance that holds within her...And, he feels Arnav will do only that.

He has shown them the past, and cannot predict the future, like most of us who are reading this tale being weaved...but he hopes they create their fate riding over all the curses...

I dont know what future holds Devi, it can go either way, good or bad, but Im so deeply connected to the Kalarikkal House...and this update felt so sacred, specifically his thoughts.

Everybody's love shows through clearly to The one who has witnessed it all through the ages. It is almost like the viewer who doesn't have a voice is voicing his inner thoughts.

It is almost like any of the comments on this story. Telling how they feel but do not know what is going to happen or how the characters will finally act.

I seem to be agreeing with Usha a lot today (great minds think alike😆)

Never doubt a father's love they say and this is such a fine way for Kash's father to show his love. I say Kashi's father as it is in that capacity Govindan orchestrated this whole thing to get his daughter to find love.

Needless to say what an amazing update, greedy for more (nothing new in that).

And thus spake the house...:) I loved this chapter..how you play with words and make things alive. every leaf, deadwood, fabric, every dent and pore in that house has a spirit and you speak to them...and let us hear this.. i know i know i am not making sense ..but I just love this story 😛

I dunno why first i thot it was the spirit of the house which was talking but halfway thru i realised it was the fathers POV...beautiful to see so much love in that house...all selfless...even d house or d spirits want them to break free of their curse...n not repeat d tragedy...bt what happens to pallavi?

Devi, oh my God!

The last chapter cleared up the father's decision so well. It was beautifully written

And something makes me feel it's actually ftom the House's point of view. Could I be right?

A heart-warming update! I was about to comment on your last chapter, when I see that there's already a new one. In my comment on the last update (i.e. Ch-48), I wanted to say, that I felt, Kashi's father was doing it deliberately. I don't know why, but in all honesty, I exactly felt that way, that may be, he knows, that his daughter would never leave him and her sister, and more importantly, the house, if she didn't get a push, like that. And Mr. Namboothri {I hope I got the spelling right? Even if it isn't, forgive me, please. :'( }, being her father, was trying to give her that. Because, he suddenly telling his daughter to move out of the house like that seemed too sudden. And even though we know little about him, still, such a harsh decision, it felt like that wasn't him. It felt like he was aiming at something else. I don't have any idea why I felt so, really, but I just did... And now this update totally answers everything I had in my mind... This was really a wonderfully-worded update. :)

I am stuck...spellbound to say the least...wat same mistake is this mysterious house talking about...as all the characters have so many shades..so has the house...dark yet intriguing..Super!!

Musings of KH itself!! I am spell bound and it was hazy in the first read as to when the father's thoughts got intermingled. Your threw a lot of things at once and it was hard for me to digest all in one read. Here are some sentences which thrilled me to no end.

"How he wished the Gods would show some mercy and ease the burden of their fate…" So Arnav and Kushi are destined to be a couple!! It is reiterated.

"The man loved her, he knew… It couldn't have been any other way… the man did not after all stumble onto my doorsteps merely by chance…

I called to him and he came… at least I would like to think that is what occurred…

I am willing to concede that maybe the man's destiny had a role to play as well…" KH called onto Arnav. How?! Did KH gave an insight to Namboodiri about Arnav and Kashi's past through dreams like the ones Arnav and Kashi had?!

"As omniscient as I would like to think I am, my consciousness is only as vast as theirs…

I cannot predict the future…

I can only show them the past…

And hope that they will not repeat the same mistakes…" It was KH all long who made them dream the same dream and tried to give a peek to their past!! So now it is their rebirth?!

Now i can't think anymore. I have stop, else i will go pagal..;)

Ought to mention..this was one hell of an update. I have no words to explain how it affected me. Am blown away..may be none of you will find me again...:D
