Coming back...
Arnav was following a kid, it took baby steps with shaky legs,it was falling after every two minutes..it was giggling..making strange sound ..it looked cute, adorable..Arnav took the baby in his arms...kissed its cheek..the baby giggled more..then touched Arnav's nose..his stubble..and gave a dissatisfied look..the baby did not like the hard stubble..
"Dady will have a shave.. promise...don't get angry honey..."..Arnav said with a mock sad face and tickled the baby..
The baby giggled again..and threw up everything on Arnav's shirt..
"Arre yaar...every time you do it.."..Arnav made a face again...and his kid laughed again...
"Every time you do the same thing too.."...Arnav followed the voice..it came from his wife."I told you so many times..don't tickle after feeding...but you don't listen to me...now please ..wash yourself..and..let me clear the mess..."
"You look very tired..."
"Naturally...you two leave no chance to make me insane..."..Khushi said with a sad smile..."I know Khushwant...you are having a tough time '..."..Arnav tried to console her..he felt really bad seeing her exhausted figure..she was becoming thin day by day.."Why don't you eat properly? You are so thin...!!"..
EXCUSE ME....Arnav heard an angry voice, he came into his senses..he was dreaming, he was 30000 ft above the land, seated in the business class of an Air Canada Flight. After six hours the flight will land at Indira Gandhi International Airport,Palam, New Delhi.
The lady beside him was angry, as she thought that Arnav mocked at her.She was too fat."Sorry Madam that I offended you, but it was not for you..I was worried about my wife, possibly I was dreaming about her...and.."
"Yeah right..moron..."..Lady bursted out..Arnav was helpless..he had no other option but to digest the insult.
Then he smiled, thought about his dream, the baby will actually vomit on his shirt?Naah..well there is chance..there are other things too, all people do that in infancy.Arnav did that too..Arnav Singh Randhawa, grow up...it's high time ..he thought about his wife...he got tensed, he had no idea what was waiting for him, would she come back or he would have to drag her...
What will happen after her delivery? How she will deal with her life? Will she tell everything to the baby...what she had endured..naah..she won't do that.She will not make the baby to hate Arnav.What if she does ? What will Arnav do then?
Arnav Singh Randhawa, stop doubting your wife, it is your doubt that led your life at this stage, but you didn't understand yet,there is a limit to everything. Your wife is a scriptwriter..but you are more melodramatic.If she would do such thing, then why would she inform you? She called you for everyone that she said, that you heard..but what you couldn't realise that she herself wanted you back...
Yeah..that can be true..

Shyam told each and every detail whatever he got to know from Anjali, everything, what Khushwant actually wanted,what she did, why she did...Arnav remembered, Khushwant wanted to know that from where Adhiraj got so much information...
Anjali did not hesitate this time, she explained everything,"Chhote...I don't know what to say..or what to do..why she did this for me..I don't know...then why she left...but I know one thing, we never understood her in true sense, we understood what we wanted to understand...about her..."
Anjali went on ,"When you were brooding because of Adhiraj's death, I have seen her sufferings.She did nothing , Adhiraj died because of his own misdeed ...neither you are to be blamed..yet she took the burden of guilt upon her, just to release you from the guilt, but fact remains fact..she did no such thing so that one person commits suicide."
Arnav said.."Actually...the way Dadi was crying..."
Shyam interrupted.."Don't mind Arnav, she is your grand mother, but...I think she should go back where she came from...don't you think she had created enough fuss?"
Arnav was taken aback...Shyam looked at Anjali, said ," Will you not feed your brother? Go to kitchen..see what the servant is doing...and please send some juice.."..Anjali smiled and went to the kitchen.
Arnav looked at her , she completed six months of her pregnancy, she was almost round, and heavy.But she looked happy, satisfied and cheered up.As if nothing happened to her in past.
"Arnav", Shyam called.."See...I cannot change the past...only I can appologise for that. But you can understand what I went through...can you deny that all her life ,Anjali thought about Adhiraj?Arnav, my life was very complicated.." ..Shyam took a pause..
Arnav remained silent..then slowly said, "Tell me honestly, you still have any feelings for Khushwant?"
Shyam laughed..said ," Arnav, I wanted her in my life, because I wanted my life back...but I was doing wrong, I was understanding that I was wrong..and whatever my feelings were..but fact is I was wrong..and..the most important fact...she loves you...more than anything..more than anyone..."
Arnav glared at him..Shyam went on.."I know how much she dislikes me..she has reasons..but when you were in lock up..she came to me..and requested with folded hands...to save you, her request was genuine Arnav, she actually begged..there was no pretension...how much she loves you that she had that much strength to request me...she set aside her grudges, her ego, her anger ...she loves you Arnav, the thing is you never understood how much she loves you..situation was like this that she stopped to express.She confined all her feelings..."
Arnav started to shed silent tears.."One more thing...when she called Anjali...I had a talk with her..."..Shyam recalled her words..
"You do not need to thank me, my intentions were not that great...initially I planned so that you people will suffer..that is why when Di used to meet Adhiraj..I used to sent you the information so that you feel miserable..in fact deliberately I made such situation ..so that you, Di and Adhiraj..and Subhadra Malik will get thrashed and humiliated...so nothing noble in my action.But I gave up, because knowingly or unknowingly, I cannot harm anyone..and something would happen to Di, I know Arnavjee would get the maximum pain...I also planned to give pain to him..but I gave up..I cannot...it's not I am saving any other person..it's my soul whom I am saving...even if I want, I cannot be a monster...moreover once you saved my life..it's just my gratitude..nothing else..."
Arnav covered his face.."She actually told that?"
"I am narrating just the same...her voice was ice cold..."..Shyam said in a devastated tone."Further she said, if I feel actually guilty about what I did... then my punishment is to be with Anjali ..to protect ,to love and respect her for the rest of my life..."..Shyam looked frustrated.."I swear..if Anjali wouldn't have been in my life...possibly I could have shot myself..everyday, I am living with a big burden on my soul..."
Arnav looked at Shyam...the burden on Arnav's soul is much heavier.His phone was ringing..it was Akash...,"Bhai...she is here..Payal went with me, because of her continuous begging she came...when you will be back?"

Arnav was fuming when he came to know about Dadi's mentality, she actually thought that Shyam should divorce Anjali, else he will again take a chance on Khushwant.It was Dadi who literaly invited Adhiraj Rampal.Every time she drags the past and creates such hazard.
When he entered in Randhawa House, he saw Khushwant, sitting with Nani and Mami,Payal was serving dinner to Dadi and Akash...Nani and Mami reportedly had heavy snacks in evening, so they just will take a glass of milk at bedtime.
Mami was trying to convince Khushwant to eat a bit more, she was refusing to eat, "I am not feeling to eat..Mami please..."...
Devyani said ,"So you are back...you just put your bags and went to meet your sister...how is she?"
"Fine...more than fine actually.."..Arnav said it looking at Khushwant, Khushwant gave a blank gaze.
Manorama said ,"Bijee, I think it's time..why don't we call a pandit..so that he can fix a date..Anjali's goad bharai must be done, it's already 7th month..."
Khushi's eyes became wide open.."Di..seventh month? Nobody told me..that she is pregnant..I called Jijee several times..that day..Di also didn't tell me.." ..Khushi said in a melancholic tone..
Arnav just kept looking at her, he felt sad, he felt angry...then his eyes got fixed on her abdomen...it was not flat anymore...it had bulge,a big one,she is on fourth month only, but the bulge looked bigger,then Arnav discovered that she became skinny, possibly, for that the bulge is looking bigger..Arnav checked the date in his wrist watch, 28th January...after three months he was getting her glimpse. He wondered how he survived without seeing her...and she was not talking to him,she wasn't even looking at him..
Devyani said, "I think you have taken your dinner there?Arnav?"...
Arnav was still looking at Khushi,Nani smiled...said ,"Only looking at her will not be enough,make her eat all the time, she ate so little..you can see, she looks so weak..."..Arnav came out of daze...Devyani continued.."She is so careless, just because she vomits, she refuses to eat again..I was telling her, Manorama was also suggesting her...that she should be more careful as she is carrying twins..."
Khushwant looked away, she refused to look at him,Arnav gave a hard look. Then he remembered what Shyam said .He realised to punish everyone, she punished herself.She has been harsh on herself the most.He remembered his cold shoulder which he gave to her when Adhiraj died.He cleared his throat..and said ,"Whom you are consulting with?"
"Dr. Sunita Sisodia..."
"I want to meet her, as early as possible.."
"Hmmm..."
Manorama again offered her the platter, she again refused,and ran to kitchen ..Arnav was shocked...he followed her with long strides..she was vomiting like anything.. the kitchen sink got filled up with yellow coloured wastage...she washed her mouth..then looked up..Arnav offered her a glass of lemon water ..before she took it, she started to vomit again...Arnav saw it silently..then held her hand, rubbed her back.."Is it done...?"
"Yeah..actually I just can't bear the smell of food..", Khushi said in a grim voice ..in the meantime Devyani came there..."It happens...don't worry...Arnav..take her ...and make sure she takes rest.."..Devyani ordered.
When Khushi was changing dress in bathroom, Payal came..with a jug of lemon water, dry biscuits and a glass of milk.She said ,"Make sure she drinks milk, else she will be with empty stomach...and if she wants to eat anything else ..check in the freege and call me.."
"She came with you..just like that?"
"You can say that..she herself realised that with two children in womb, she won't be able to manage..."
"Twins..really?"
"Yes, and she is having a real tough time, when I met her she looked lost.. please take care of her.."
"I will..thank you Payal.."
Payal smiled and left the room.
Khushwant came out and saw the food."Drink the milk..."..Arnav ordered..
"Again I will vomit...please..don't force me.."
"No problem..but you will drink this..."
"Please..Arnavjee..."
Arnav gave stern look...and gave the glass of milk.Khushi made a face..and started to drink.Arnav held her hand and said.."You will sleep now..we will talk later...and..I don't want to see your sad face, you are not supposed to get upset, you are not supposed to get hyper or tensed ,you will not walk in rush, neither you will run just like you ran into kitchen..nor you will cry, and you will not refuse to eat...got my point?"
Khushwant gave a nod. Arnav laid her down, and caressed her forehead..within ten minutes she fell asleep, eventually he also fell asleep.He was too tired, so was she.
