"one fine day, you're gonna want me for your girl..." The lyric keeps resounding in my head whenever I read this story and if it wasn't true before then I definitely find it true for these two chapters. He sees her in his home and he is astounded by how perfectly she fits in; he sees her with his family and he is again astounded by how perfectly she fits in. If that fine day hasn't arrived yet, then it is very very close to arriving soon :)
Oh, why did she have to lie to her dad - and if she was going to use her friend as an excuse, then the least she could have done was notify the friend - I mean, that's just basic protocol ;)

ohh i become a giggling 17 yr old when i start reading this one😳 ( which i am certainly not! )they r just tremendously cuuute together... just awww

such small beautiful moments of life... he gettin cold... n ofcourse Khushi 'd step in...their kisses... holding hands under d table... getting caught in front of family... she so comfortably speakin without having any issue abt she bein not so rich... all so nicely put... i had missed this mush wid too much of dark stories read recently by me... ( n also kinda missing in serial!😔 ) so thank u...

n d whole chottey episode was sooo much fun,...😆

Whenever I read any of your work, I fall deeper in love with Khushi. She is Everywoman---and especially how you convey her in this story. So relatable and so warm. I'm ready to see their love tested, because you've given all those special moments. Bring it on, Shashi.
