Yes I have always wondered at how an 18 years old with very basic education was even hired by AR office. On another show a similar character was shown helping in making designs for construction projects and giving presentation, which was taking creative liberty a wee bit too far.

Hence the online/distance learning idea😃

Alone in her room, a tired, sleep deprived Khushi couldn't go to sleep even after the hectic schedule of the entire week. She was torn between disgust and loathing at what Shayam had done and remorse for hiding it from Arnav. Just as she was unable to forget Shayam's deliberate lecherous advances, she couldn't rub the memory of Arnav's troubled eyes filled with anxiety and apprehension on her behalf. She could still vividly remember his controlled fury when he thought that her fianc had hurt her. To hide such an enormous truth from him was too criminal an act for Khushi, she felt like a back stabber, as if she had betrayed his trust. She looked out of the window to look for her stars for comfort. She needed someone's shoulder to make the decision. That he will never want to see her face again was a prospect as clear as daylight, the question was will she survive without seeing his?

Arnav sighed as he moved away from the French windows in his rooms after gazing a long time at his stars. How he had always said with damn surety that love was the last emotion he would feel for any girl. With lavanya it was a settlement of convenience that had suited both of them, no questions asked, no strings attached. Where did he go weak, when did he let his control over his emotions go, when did her let her open the doors to his heart and settle there? He had forsaken love for so long, abhorred the idea so strongly and for so long that his emotions wreaked havoc in his mind. He thought about all the times they had been together, her antics and his rage; he remembered how she had told him about her parents' death. It was then he stopped dead in his tracks and recalled what she had said about her fear of being alone at night. He quickly walked to the nightstand to get his cell, Khushi was on his quick dial so it didn't take long for the call to go through. Someone picked up the phone and his whole body became an ear waiting to hear her voice. The hesitant hello from the other end came as relief as well as sent a signal of something being wrong. "Khushi, are you okay?" he asked cautiously, "ji.. ji I am okay, why have you called me at this time of the night," she questioned. "To ask how you were," Arnav gave a straightforward reply, "why aren't you asleep yet?" asked Arnav. "I couldn't sleep…….and you?" asked Khushi. The answer wasn't an easy one; could he really tell her why? Before he could say anything another question was posted by her, "What will you be doing tomorrow?" Taken by surprise at the question he told her about his intentions of going to the office early in the morning for a video conference with some clients in the US. "It's good its at 6:00 a.m, I can slip out without Di trying to make me take a day off, and I'll be back in time for that thing you people have on the next day…." he explained in detail wanting to stretch the conversation further, but Khushu apparently had no such inclination, "okay then I need to sleep now to wake up early, see you tomorrow Arnavji…." she said quickly and the softly added, "Good night" and cut the call leaving Arnav staring at his cell.

As soon as she had cut the call she jumped in the bed and closed her eyes and willed herself to sleep. "Please devi maiyyan let me go to sleep so that I can go see him in his office, it is a video conference so I am sure he will be all by himself. I can't keep this to myself anymore, I must tell him now. Let him think whatever he may, but I can't keep quiet anymore. I can't see Anjali ji live with that snake, showering him all the love and veneration that he is not worthy of. How deceived will she feel when she finds out that she has loved such a lowlife, giving him the status of god, fasting for him, doing pujas for his safety and well being, while he all he had looked for was money, something that neither of the siblings gave a damn for! Ohhh," she groaned regretting not telling earlier. Hearing his voice had made it easier for her to take the decision, it had been instant and the office gave her the perfect opportunity to divulge into the terrible truth without the fear of someone walking in. "please make it easy," she prayed before falling asleep.

well written yaar...short and sweet...loved it...hope khushi tells the truth to arnav wwithout anyy hesitation...
