Maneet FF walking down dark lane/upd#19-pg128

Early morning cool breeze is making weird noise through the widow of the car which is moving fast on the empty chilly Delhi Highway. Maan and Geet are on the back seat and Maan instructs the driver to make it fast as he does not want to get late for the meeting. Maan is going through the details again in his laptop and Geet is leaning over him to finish her nap. Maan is deep in his work when notices Geet's hair brushing face. He turns to Geet and pushes her hair back sweetly and notices her sleeping so cutely over his shoulder. Her innocence and beauty does not allow him to turn his eyes. Maan leans forward for a kiss when Geet opens her eyes. Both give a loving look to each other and Maan is about to kiss when the car comes to a sudden halt and Maan and Geet end up hitting head on. Though Maan and Geet are not hurt much, Maan is all furious for what he missed and Geet cant stop her smile. Maan asks driver why he stopped the car. Driver is all scared of Maan's tone and answers stumbling that he has no idea and will check it. Driver gets down the car and starts checking. Maan and Geet get down the car and asks whats wrong. Driver answers there is some problem with the car and will take time. Maan gets impatient as its one of the biggest deals of Khurana Constructions. Geet advises they should take lift. Maan and Geet try for a lift but being early hours vehicles are less and too fast to notice them asking for help.

Maan gets call from Adi who enquires where Maan and Geet have reached. Maan tells him the situation, but Adi inform the client is very punctual about timings. Maan turns around and notices Geet talking to someone on bike all smiling. Maan moves towards them and Geet gets all happy and introduces him to her new found friend

Geet: Maan, this is Ranchod Singh. Ranchod gives a wide smiles. Maan,u know Ranchod is going via the place we are gonna have the meeting and Ranchod is from Hoshiyarpur, but we never met before and its all surprising to meet there.

Maan gives oh now I know look to Geet. Geet understands Maan is not pleased and says they should take lift from him. Maan looks at the old bike and is not interested in taking the lift. Geet thinks he is not gonna listen this way.

Geet: Maan,,,its getting late for the meeting. I will go with Ranchod with the files and start the meeting. Once driver is done, you can come.

Saying so, Geet opens the car and gets the files out and moves towards the bike. Maan cant let Geet sit behind a stranger that too on a bike. Maan takes the files from Geet and sits on the bike himself. Geet cant stop smiling with the expression Maan has on his face nor can she laugh as it can make Maan unhappy.

Geet to Ranchod: Ok veerji, it was pleasure meeting you.

Maan turns to Geet and notices that she tricked him to make him sit on the bike and gives a smile before leaving.

Maan reaches the venue and walks up the steps to meet Adi. Its a huge building with all greenary around and built in vast area. Maan walks through the corridor and meets Adi. A man from the other side of the corridor walks in with his bodyguards.

Adi to Maan: Sir, he is Kunal Mehra, our client.

Meeting starts and presentation and discussions take place during which Maan notices Kunal is somewhat like him, a perfectionist.

Geet is still waiting for the car to get started and is eating up drivers head to make it fast. Geet gets impatient and walks far from the car towards the trees on the sides of the road. A yound lady walks towards and Geet, Geet notices she is very well dressed and the heavy jewelery she is wearing is original. Geet is all surprised, how come this lady don so much jewelry n walk through highway at this hour. The lady approaches Geet.

Lady to Geet: Sheher ka raasta kaunsa hai Which way is the city?

Geet: Kaunsa sheher Which City? Geet knows they are on the road which can lead to 2 different cities.

Lady: Koi bhi which ever city..

Geet: tumhe pata hai tumhe kaha jaana hai. Do not you know where you want to going?

Lady: hume sirf itna pata hai hum sheher jaarehe hai...I just know I am going to city.

Geet: mein sheher jaarahi...tum chalna chaho to chalsakti ho ..I am going to city. you want to join me.

Lady gets hesitant but agrees. Driver informs, car is ready. Geet asks the lady to accompany her.

Geet: mera naam geet hai aur tum...Hi. I am Geet. Mrs. Geet Maan Singh Khurana. Whats ur name.

Lady: Aap hume Priya bula sakthi hai. U can call me Priya.

Geet is like what u can call me. Priya notices the expressions but is not interested in further explanation. Priya leans back and is fast asleep

Geet reaches the meeting venue and is so impressed with the greenary and gets down the car. Her pink dress, open hair, and the air making her looking memerizing.

Maan and Kunal walk out of the building and are talking when Geet's beauty catches Maan's attention again. Kunal is all confused why Maan staring the other way when he is talking to him so seriously and looks the way Maan is staring. Adi senses the trouble and brings back Maan to present. Maan excuses himself and promises Kunal to meet him soon. Maan walks towards Geet..

Maan to Geet: I almost lost the deal just becoz of you. Geet is all confused. Maan continues, your beauty caught my attention and I forgot the client. Maan smiles and Geet understands Maan is just joking. Adi gives is weird laughter again and Maan asks the driver to go with Adi as he wants to go with Geet alone..

Maan and Geet sit in the front seat and driver back home. Maan is all staring Geet and Geet is asking him to have a look at the road.

Maan to Geet: I will look at the road only when I dont need to look at you.

Geet moves closer to him and hugs him tight. Maan kisses her and they have a sweet journey.

Maan and Geet are back at Khurana Mansion. Geet turns back to get her purse and notices Priya still sleeping. Geet is all surprising that she almost forgot her and brought her here. Maan enquires about Priya and Geet says, she is her friend. Geet wakes up Priya who is all confused with the place she is. Maan gets a call from Adi and he goes in talking to him.

Priya to Geet: Lift deneke liye shukriya magar hum kahan hai isss waqt. Thank you for the lift, but where am I.

Geet: Tum Delhi mein ho aur yeh KM hai ...You are in Delhi and this is Khurana Mansion.

Priya looks around and asks for way out. Geet is not happy letting her out, something is telling her she needs to help Priya.

Geet: Tum Delhi mein kisiko jaanti ho Do you know someone in Delhi.

Priya: No.

Geet: kahan jaaogi...Where will you do.

Priya; patanahi No idea.

Geet: tum chaho toh outhouse mein rehsakti ho jab tak abne liye koi rehne ka intezaam na karlo You can stay in the outhouse until you find a place.

Priya: Hum ne aap se madad nahi maangi...pehle aap ne hume lift diya aur ab yeh...I didnt ask you for help. You gave me lift and now offering place to live.

Geet: Patanahi...bas mein tumhari madad karna chahthi hoon I dont know but I just want to help you.

Geet notices Priya has no other way and signs the servant to show her the outhouse. Servant returns unpleased. Geet enquires and servant says, Priya didnt seem to be happy with the outhouse. Geet ignores and walks into the house and notices dadi sitting and hugs from behind

Geet to Dadi: Dadimaa. How are you? Have you taken medicines.

Dadi: Yes, I did. come sit with me.

Geet: I will just get freshup and come.

Geet comes to her room and gets fresh and goes to Maan who is busy with his files.

Maan to Geet: Who is this Priya?

Geet tells him how she met Priya.

Maan: Do you think..its good to keep a stranger at home like this.

Geet: I dont know. but when I see her eyes. i get feeling, she needs help, and I have to help her.

Maan: Ok. Maan thinks, I dont know the lady but I dont want to upset you by refusing to keep her here.

Geet pushes the files down. Maan asks her to take a nap as they had long journey. Geet smirkes. Maan smiles and gets close to her, closes her eyes, and looks at his files again. Geet smiles and says she will go sit with Dadima as she promised and leaves.
