The Gang
Misha took Pia over to meet all the gang. Pia was surprised how fast they all welcomed her into their fold. Pia liked Kabir. He was attractive in a cute way. Not her type. He was a charmer with a funny side yet tried to look tough. He was cool. She already saw him as a friend. He had this easy going attitude which made her feel comfortable amongst all the new people she met. Misha was such a sweet heart. They had already bonded like they'd known each other inside out. Never before had she felt so welcome.
Misha-You've met all the peeps in this crew. Now U can meet my older sister. Panchi Dobrial. The headmistress of my family. She is more of a dictator than a sister.
Panchi-Mishooooooooo!!!
Misha-Its true yaar. U always have the last say in everything. I swear we aren't real sisters. Mom must have picked the wrong baby. We are complete opposites.
Panchi-I could say the same for U. Well anyway Nice to meet U Pia. Don't go following this one around. She will get U in trouble. Trust me i've copped the rough end of the deal for years.
Pia couldn't help but smile-Nice to meet U too. I can tell U sisters are really close. I wish i had that to share with.
Misha-No worries taar. U can have mine for free.
Kabir-Pia if U listen to anymore of Misha babbling away U will go crazy. These two can go all day squabbling away.
Pia-Its fun to watch them though.
Kabir-Wait till a few months passes by the novelty wears off. Trust me i've known them my whole life and their arguements can get a little tiresome when You're in the middle of it.
Panchi-You've met Kabir. Now U can meet his cousin Danish my boyfriend. These two are like two peas in a pod you'd think they were brothers.
Pia shook his hand. Danish looked nothing like Kabir he appeared to be quite quiet. Pia thought he was ok but didn't want to judge him at first but Panchi and he were giving off a weird vibe. She couldn't put her finger on it.
T's madness
T seethed with anger. Look at Pia in that gang. Making herself feel part of that group. T wasn't going to let this small time girl Pia get away with insulting her no matter what T had to do. She was already scheming away to exact revenge. She'd had her posse do her dirty work for her bringing in the main resource to bring out the redness to Pia. Oh yes Pia was going to get it big time. If she thought T was backing down no way. She was in for a rude awakening . Truth be told T was getting the big guns out. The first college prank that was going to be out of this world. Pia wants a figts she'll get one. She dared to speak back to T in front of the whole fraternity. T gave an evil smile. Her reputation was at stake and everything better go as plan.
Abhay
Abhay looked on. He'd observed everybody from afar. These people all fit in but where did Abhay belong? He never gelled with people. They all left at some point. Aged.While he stayed young forever. He didn't care about any of these people. He was a shadow alone in a place filled with people. He didn't know how to behave around them. Just remain in silence. People stared at him as if he were the best looking guy they'd ever seen then again that was the plus side of being a creature of the night. People had extreme feeling around him. They were either threatened by him or in awe of him but nobody ever saw the real him. Just what he portrayed to others. It was the only way to protect himself from being sucked in. Emotions were for the weak. He wasn't putting himself out their exposing himself to all. He was in a rut. A hard place he didn't know how to get out of. Hasina wanted him to mingle with these people. They all reeked of humanity. He could block the hunger and shut off his emotional side after the long practice he'd had.
Abhay saw some of the girls he was interested to take on a test drive. They were all superficial which suited him best. He could dispose them without any attachments to one another. He could see the intrigue in their eyes. Good. Best way to reel them in. Abhay could see T was the one he could use to his advantage. She was the type to want an eye candy tomake her look good. She wasn't anything special but to get what he needed he would use her for fun. Abhay had enough if their first day. He saw Pia with her new set of friends. So she managed to do well for herself. He felt a twinge of something. He wanted to ignore it but found it hard. Why did he even care? He couldn't let a human get in his way. No One got passed his barriers he put up. No one. After their next session it was lunch time. Obviously he wasn't going to eat anything. He read a book worth hundred of pages to ward off any suspision as to why he wasn't eating dinner. The bell went everyone got up.
The Prank
T had her girls got some red paint tins and aimed it at Pia. She didn't have her friends with her. Abhay saw this and was torn. Should he help her? Should he stand back? He knew with his speed he'd go undetected. He zoomed towards Pia andused his body to keep the paint from splashing on her face and body. He knocked her down using his body weight to fall to the floor. Some paint landed on Abhay and the rest on the Principle. Lucky for him he had glasses on. His suit was covered in paint. The principle looked around for the culprit. while he tried to compose his anger. Abhay and Pia had a moment. An eye lock moment that lasted a a couple of seconds.
Eventually he broke it off. Pia was embarrassed by this whole situation. She didn't see the paint but blasted Abhay for knocking her over.
Pia-U are pushing your luck today. First this whole scene U created this morning and now this. How dare U touch me U creep? U should be ashamed of yourself.
Abhay-Excuse me! This is the gratitude i get for saving your pretty little face from paint. I should've let her get U. Trust me i wouldn't touch U with a barge pole. There are better looking girls than U. U are nothing special but i didn't want anyone to be humiliated on the first fay. I suppose U like drama right.
Pia-What are U on about? I know your kind of guys coming up with new ways to impress girls. I'm not buying it.
Abhay-Think what U like. I don't care. Seriously don't flatter yourself. Now get the hell off of me U weigh a tonne. Then check yourself out in the mirror and see what isee which is a plain Jane who thinks she's the best thing to happen to men.
Pia got off of him fuming at his tirade of insults. She was not seeing anything clearly. However she noticed Abhay was telling the truth. Abhay looked at Tanushree and her girls with the empty tins.
Abhay-Seriously U girls are heartless. Are U plain dumb or what throwing a childish prank like that. This isn't kinder garden U know. If that paint got on her hair or even her eyes do U have any idea how hard it would be to remove. U could've blinded her. The scars it would leave. Maybe U want some of your own medicine.
Abhay took some paint from a girl with a tin and smeared it on T's face, some at the ends of her hair and on her clothes. He repeated the same process on the other two girls. They stood still while the whole college bore witness. Pia found her anger calming down but renewed by empathy for Abhay. She felt guilty of saying bad things to him. Part of her was pleased T got what she deserved. The principle saw T and Abhay face to face. He called them both to his office.
Abhay to T about the red pait on her face.-Now try getting that off yourself and see how much effort it takes for U to clean it.
T-U did this to T. Now U will bear my wrath.
Abhay-Bring it on.
T to Pia-This isn't over. U watch this space.
Both head off to the principles office. The students whistled as they left.
The AfterMath
Misha was laughing so hard she could feel the stitches. Pia on the other hand felt bad. She'd jumped to conclusion just because of what transpired this morning. Poor Abhay. Pia saw the splatters of red dotts on her dress. Everything else was fine. She saw Abhay's black shirt coloured in red at the back. He had helped her save face. This T was a pain.
Misha-This Abhay was too good yaar. I disliked him for getting in Kabir's face but what he did to T this will always be my highlight. Talk about red faced.
Pia-I can't believe i mouthed off at him like that. Its been a long day. Does the excitement ever die down. I should apologize To Abhay.
Misha-He deserved it after what he said to U.
Pia-We both said some hurtful things. I'll try to clear up the misunderstandings.
