Pia watched Abhay sulking out of the Principles office. She wanted to apologize for the way she reacted. Pia couldn't stop thinking about him. He really caught her off guard. Right now she couldn't think past anything apart from Abhay. It was like he was embedded in her brain. Pia flushed drawing on the flashback of him holding her. She shook that feeling off. Pia followed Abhay down the hall eventually running to catch up with him. Stupid Psych books weighed a tonne in her bag. Pia reached him finally. She called out to him. Abhay ignored her still walking away. Pia was beginning to feel like he didn't want to be anywhere near her. Too bad. Abhay made Pia feel flustered. She held his hand in her. Both of them felt a bolt of electricity run through them from one touch. It took Abhay by surprise. He tried to break free from her hold but he remained frozen only Pia's eyes had him captured in an invisible cage. For that moment everyone seemed to have disappeared from their view. Pia was taken over a strange unseen force that drew her closer towards Abhay. Then the magical moment was broken by some of the students trying to push their way to their next class. Abhay pulled his hands out of Pia's and tried to make his way out of there. Pia was in his head too much today. That was not healthy. He didn't even know the girl. Pia's face dropped into a scowl. Abhay couldn't help but smile at her. She was so cute. He liked her look but she wasn't his type. He didn't do happily ever after.

Pia stopped Abhay in his tracks pulling him out of the way of students. She wasn't letting him take off. Who did this creep think he was? Then she thought he was probably worried of a scene being created. Besides Pia had enough drama for one day she didn't need to add to it. Pia cleared her mind from Abhay he was so distracting. He was a guy she was scared of and fascinated of at the same time. He made her feel happy and angry all at the same time,.

Abhay-Hey pile on. Have U not had enough of me yet that U come running for more. I'm not interested in girls like U. Do U get that? U are so down market . i wouldn't waste my time on U so i advize U do the same. So quit stalking me and get a life.

Pia(Starting to get worked up) –Abhay will U stop with the abuse seriously man i came to apologize. U know about the whole paint thing i misunderstood the whole situation. I reacted badly what with this mornings incident and then whole thing with T.

Abhay (Trying to read Pia unsuccessfully)-Oh. Ok. U can leave now.

Pia-I'm sorry. I was wondering if U were in trouble by the principle. I'll stick up for U. U know try to get U out of your punishment.

Abhay-I can handle my own problems i don't need the likes of U interfering with my business. It was thanks to U all this happened. I was minding my business and then U came in the frame and ruined everything. What do U wanna know hey? That i'm stuck with crazy T who has dobbed me in so she can play with me after College painting the gates. U have done enough damage now U go way and Let me be. (U are making me crazy here. I am trying to make U run by hurling all these insults. This girl isn't budging. )

With that he bid her adieu. Waving her away. Oiya was reeling by his harsh tone. He was mad at her. She wanted Abhay not to be mad at her despite her attempt to make it upto him. Piya didn't understand what it was about Abhay that made her want to please him. Be near him. He was so rude to her. Such an arrogant guy. She wanted to scream at him. So T had Abhay join her for her punishment. No wonder Abhay was cross with Pia. She didn't want to antagonize Abhay anymore than she already did. Pia wasn't going to let Abhay suffer alone. Pia headed to the principles office to try and get Abhay off the hook. Only problem was after she'd told everything to him the principle ave Pia the same punishment as he had to make an example and it was Pia's word against Abhay's. The principle assumed that Abhay and Piya were a couple which is why she was trying to help him. Pia laughed at that suggestion which angered the Principle.

Misha had Pia's back during a session with Mrs Gowarikar their art tutor for economics class. Lucky for Pia she'd got in the nick of time. Pia noted down all the notes. Pia explained her dilemma to Misha about the whole misunderstanding. Abhay's acidic tone burnt in Pia's head. He was always so mean to her. Twice he's been so brash with his words. Misha was mad at Piya.

Misha-Why did U have to be such a martyr? U should've left the two idiots together. They make such a cute couple. One has no brain cells and the other has no respect for anyone. Perfect match.

Pia-I felt so guilty Misha. He helped me and i got him in trouble on his first day.

Misha-U didn't ask him to help U Pia. Abhay did that all on his own. But he had no right to speak to U like that. He has no manners. He's worse than an animal. I want to shred him into little pieces.

Pia-Its ok misha I'll be fine. I owe Abhay. He doesn't seem to want to be near T. So i will help him.

After that it was end of their College first day. Abhay headed towards the college gates. Most of the students were already on their way back to wherever they were going while Abhay was stuck here with T. He would make her feel sorry for even messing with him. T arrived a few minutes later dressed in even less clothes. She had shorts on which looked like Hot pants. What was this girl on? Her perfume filled the air. It was a sweet smell. Dior. He knew this smell. Abhay was a little hungry. He moved swiftly behind T and held her against his chest. T was surprised at Abhay's sudden touch. With glee she turned around to face him. She looked into his eyes then something changed. They turned a maroon red colour the irises glowing. T couldn't move and then a sharp pain as his teeth pierced her skin. Abhay could feel the warm liquid quench his thirst. He could feel T drain in his arms. He sucked more blood than he should have. Abhay was angry with her that he went a little too far. Abhay didn't feel anything from T because she was an empty vacuum. She didn't have warmth in her life. He gently placed her on the floor. Abhay looked into T's eyes. He compelled her into thinking nothing happened apart from Abhay and her painting the gates.

Pia arrived a little late. She would have to work in the clothes provided by the college. She wasn't about to ruin her best outfits she had. Abhay was already there working away. While T sat there wide eyed gawping at him. Pia felt a surge of jealousy. T was totally checking Abhay out. The nerve. No wonder Abhay was a little mad at her. Abhay turned round to see Pia. He hadn't anticipated her entry one bit. Her mere presence unsettled him. What was it about the girl? The harder he pushed the closer she came. They were alone. Well as good as. T was dazed thanks to him and she was shivering. Abhay couldn't let Pia see T's neck. He took his shirt off and gave it to T to keep her warm. Abhay didn't even bother acknowledging Pia being in the same place as him. He just continued to paint the gates. Pia got a brush and started to help Abhay. She occasionally did a quick glance towards Abhay's direction with the corner of her eyes. Abhay was very observant but chose to ignore her. Good job he fed on T because Pia brought out this side to him he'd never seen before. Her scent lingered towards him as if it was calling him. He couldn't help but look her way. He kept himself busy. Pia was distracted by his body. She'd had detected a sudden change in Abhay. He wasn't working as quickly. Pia was in awe of Abhay's body. It was toned. His muscles were impressive. He had a bat tattoo on his right shoulder. Pia could feel her cheeks go red. T was so lucky she had Abhay's shirt. Pia tried to shake off Abhay's image from her head. He was still silent. This silence was killing her. He was such a difficult person to be around. ABhay could still feel Pia's eyes on him. What was she doing? It was freaking him out. Part of him loved the attention Pia gave him but the other part was a nervous wreck. He eventually gave in and broke the silence.

Abhay-What are U doing here? Stalking me again?

Pia retaliated back-U aren't that special! Abhay Raichand i have better things to do with my time than follow an idiot like U about. I tried to get U out of this mess but i ended up getting caught up in this. I have no choice but to help U with all this. I owe U.

Abhay mocks Pia-U owe me! So U thought i would want to spend more time with the likes of U than her. I can see U staring at me. Trust me its beyond creepy.

Pia-I can see how T is helping U sat there. I was not staring. Its not my fault you aren't fully dressed. (Pia changes the subject feeling uncomfortable) How did U manage to finish this part of the gates so quick? Did U have help?

Abhay triumphantly smile Pia had the hots for him. Then again what girl didn't? He loved the way her face blushed. He forgot that T was even there until T moaned at them for being too loud. She was cross. At Pia for being here with Abhay. This was supposed to be her bonding time but Pia had to ruin it..

It was pack up time. All the staff were gearing to go. Abhay tidied everything up and was about to leave. He took T with him and offered Pia a lift.

Abhay-I'm not a complete animal U know. I won't leave U stranded no matter how much U irritate me. Hop in.

Pia-No thanks i can make my own way there.

Abhay-I'm not taking no for an answer now get in before I have to manhandle U in here.

Pia-Fine i wouldn't want your grubby hands on me anyway. I warn U if there's any trouble i will scream.

Abhay-Scream all U like Pia i don't mind. I like them feisty.

Abhay drops T and helps her to her main door. T's Mother takes T in. Pia sat silently in the Mercedes. Abhay took one glance at Pia before he drove again. He loved the silence. He could hear Pia's heart racing. This brought one of his infamous grins that made Pia weak in the knees. Good job she was already sitting down.

Abhay-Thanks for U know being there. I didn't really want T there. She's a bit of a handful.

Pia-Its Ok. Sorry for being such a pain. For making U mad.

Abhay saw her sad face and couldn't help but comfort her with his words. He didn't like being so rude to her yet he couldn't afford her getting close to him either.

Abhay-I'm sorry for being a brat but i like my own space. Not much of a people person. We are here at the hostel. U can go now.

Pia-How did U know? I never said where i live?

Abhay quickly thought on his feet-I erm assumed this is where U live. U have no family here and erm well U would have said to go somewhere else.

Pia-Right! See U tomorrow.

Abhay-Yeah and Pia stay out of my way. I don't want U hanging around me ok.

With that Abhay left. Kicking himself with a rookie mistake. Pia made him forget things. Why was he still thinking about her?

Abhay at the Raichand mansion was troubled with his thoughts all revolving around the curly haired beauty that was Piya. She was getting under his skin. He feared her to the extent that was mind boggling. One girl had completely shaken his perfect world he was living in bliss but Piya found a way to upset that balance of not caring for anyone. Damn girl. She was still in his mind. He knew he would see her in college tomorrow that was going to be fun. Not. Abhay saw Haseena with a cup of blood. He envied her for being a recluse. Abhay hated this turmoil. This confusion. His mind clashed with impure thoughts of Piya that would make any woman blush. He sure wanted to see Piya turn scarlet red that was a picture worth keeping. What was it about her he couldn't resist? Her sweet smell drove him crazy. It took him all his strength to keep his distance. She was a siren he desired but had to steer clear of. The forbidden fruit his tortured soul had to stay away from for their own good. Damn curse was ruining his life.

Haseena-Is anything bothering U Abhay? U seem to be miles away in thought.

Abhay lied-No. I didn't have a productive day at College thats all. Everything is so predictable. U finding life here better than our last place?

Haseena-Its peaceful. The way we prefer it. I would rather it be predictable Abhay than us looking over our shoulders all the time. I don't want a repeat of anything from you Abhay. Play nice with these humans. (In her icy tone.)

Abhay-I always play nice.

Chand speeds in front of Abhay's face-Haseena is right to caution U Abhay. We don't want any trouble here. Keep your mind games to a limit. In fact keep any violence nonexistent. U have trouble handling your anger.

Abhay-Like i care what U have to say!

Chand-U will care when we are hunted down. We are not invincible son. Just because we are immortals does not make us indestructible. We have flaws. Don't create any drama. Any conflicts or enimity with anyone. Rein yourself in. U know this very well or have U forgotten? Or do U want me to remind U?

Abhay-Whatever. I've had enough of U lecturing me.

Chand holds Abhay forcefully-U care. I can see it in your eyes. We are only trying to preserve the peaceful life we have now. U know why we have to live like hermits. We are a unit. The three of us. We have to stay together despite your rebellious nature. Don't U think i know how hard it is for U to interact with these insects. These low lives. I am tolerating them so can U. U have to keep a good rapport with them for our own good.

Abhay softened slightly. Chand was right. He hated it when they did this. Always reminding him to keep his true nature from exploding out of control. He wasn't anything like his former self thanks to the stupid curse. He hated feeling any human emotion. It was down to his recklessness his kind suffered from conflicted feelings. They had a conscience if they didn't cut off any emotions which his family couldn't do. They felt everything. He tried to revert back to the way he was but his soul prevented him from doing so.

Haseena-I heard there's a party on to celebrate the first day back.

Abhay-No.

Haseena-We've employed Danish. He goes to Mount College so don't try to pull a fast one son. U are going. Thats final.

Abhay-No way. It was bad enough spending a day with those brats. Now U want me to suffer more torture by listening to their ranting over god knows what. It's too much for me.

Chand-U are going. U need to make an alliance with these people. They must be under the illusion that we are normal son. We can't afford to seem unapproachable by any means. Its the perfect cover. Its the perfect opportunity for U to gel with your classmates.

Abhay-Classmates. I would rather not talk to any of them. I prefer my own company.

Chand-U are not alienating yourself. Mix in with this crowd. Now get ready.

Abhay rushed out in his black Mercedes. He'd has a hectic time thanks to Pia Jaiswal now he was worried about facing her at that stupid party. He didn't even want to go. Parents who needed them. They were right though. He wasn't even invited but he knew he could come as a plus one. Club Red was where the party was held at. He spotted Ruhi or should he call her the Tracker like all the College students referred to her as this. Tracker had a penchant for men. She was boy crazy. The perfect escort. She looked like she was in desperate need of a male companion. Plus no need to use his mojo on her. Ruhi wasn't the kind of girl Abhay was ever after. Too needy. Too full on but he needed a way in without causing any trouble. Abhay knew making enemies was more his firte than making friends. Guys and he never worked well. They were like oil and water that never mixed. Abhay approached Ruhi in his usual bad boy act. Tracker was more than happy to be at a party with him just as he'd imagined. The girl was over zealous holding him a little too close for comfort. As they entered the club Abhay was impressed with the turnout. The place was buzzing with teenagers from their college. The music was out of this world. His kinda scene. He surprised himself at how much he started feeling the party vibe. He loosened himself a little moving towards the dancefloor with the very eager Tracker on his arms.

Abhay noticed Pia was at the party with Kabir. She looked like she was the only pretty girl he'd ever seen at this party. Forget this party. She was the only girl that captured his attention in the whole of his existence. He could hear Kabir trying to get Pia to dance with him. Pia kept refusing until she looked saw Abhay with Tracker. Her face told a story of its own. Pia was saddened by the presence of a girl on Abhay's arms. She couldn't understand why she felt so angry at Abhay. He made her head spin. Where did these emotions come from? She wasn't even into Abhay she found him too much to take in. He was a spoilt rich guy who respected nobody. He was an outcast. He kept himself to himself. From what she'd witnessed he was a ladies man Alright. This made her feel disgusted by his whole attitude.He had T vying for his attention and now tracker. What did she care? He could be with who he wanted. It was his prerogative but she cared. Oh how she cared. She wanted to switch her feelings off. Well he was having a good time with Tracker then why should she mope around and be a killjoy. Kabir wanted Pia to dance then so be it. Pia let Kabir lead the way to the Dance floor while she locked her eyes in Abhay's direction. They were dancing to "Dum dum mast hai the remix"

Pia smiled at a joke Kabir cracked but her heart wasn't in the dancing. Her gaze kept flying towards Abhay. Abhay hated Pia's smile she gave to Kabir. He could feel an emotion he'd never felt for a woman. Jealousy. Abhay tore his eyes away from Pia's direction. He wasn't going to let her spoil his night. Pia was having fun with Kabir little did he know Pia had conflicting emotions she was struggling to hide.

Abhay spun Tracker around again then splitting away from her. Then T falls into his arms with Tracker completely headed towards the wrong direction. Great the nuisance was back to annoy him. T was ecstatic to be in Abhay's arms. They were moving slowly. As were Pia and Kabir. Abhay at this point didn't care about T coming in the way. He wanted to see what Pia was doing with Kabir. They looked like they were having fun.

T had her arms around Abhay in a possessive hold. She tried to get Abhay to look at her but his gaze remained locked with Pia's. They fast music had them spin their partners around and Abhay held Pia in his arms involuntarily as if his body had a mind of its own. Pia was lost in Abhay's arms as their eyes held each other against their will. T was livid while Kabir lost his smile. Abhay and Pia were in sync with each other like they fit.

The music changed and Abhay and Pia didn't even notice it. Misha was wondering what all the fuss was about? She saw Kabir go towards the bar with a brooding look. He looked like he lost something valuable. Misha saw which way his face was looking at Pia and Abhay. Oh so that was what as troubling her best buddy. Pia was the girl he fancied. Kabir had a tendency for falling for girls that were unobtainable. He usually succeeded in the end. From what she'd seen of Pia during their first day she wasn't the type to date. Pia was more into her studies. Kabir frowned while Misha laughed at his dilemma. Trust Kabir to fall for another girl so fast. Last year he'd broken up with several girls he'd worked so hard to get. He ditched them once he got what he wanted. Misha didn't want the same fate for Pia. For some reason unknown to Misha Pia was like a sister to her. If Kabir messed that up she was going to kill him with her bare hands.

Misha-So U found your next victim right? Pia Jaiswal. Kabir why did U pick Pia bro? This time round i am warning U. If U so much as hurt her i will have blood on my hands. U stay away from her got that!

Kabir-Look at them Misha. I don't want Pia to be with him. They've been like that for a while now. It's scaring me.

Misha-Abhay has her in a trance alright. They look so good together.

Kabir flinches at this comment-U better be joking! The guy is trouble i can feel it in my bones.

Misha-I don't like the guy either. He's a loner and those are the ones to watch out for. He has girls following him like butterflies horded round a flower for nectar.

Kabir-Nice analogy except i doubt Abhay is anything like a delicate flower more like a cactus waiting to prick someone. I don't want Pia around him.

Misha-Well as much as i don't want Pia around Abhay i don't want to see her with a guy like U either Kabir. No offence Kabir but U both will break her heart at some point. I can sense it. Pia is my friend. I have this unknown bond with her. I will not stand for any stupidity from U Kabir. I don't care if we've been friends for a long time. U will not break her heart.

Kabir-Misha i'm teling U this year i will not repeat what i did lasy year. I swear i will not hurt Pia just help me. Please.

Misha-I'm not promising anything but i'll help U. But if U so much as look at another girl while U are with her i will break your legs myself. U know i can kick your butt.

Kabir-Ok then. I will do whaever it takes to keep Pia in my life. She's special Misha.

Misha-Look if Pia has feelings for the other guy i'm not going to get in the way. Thats not me. Deal. If she wants to be with U then i will help U otherwise forget it. Thats the package deal.

Misha left Kabir drinking his worries. She taps Abhay's shoulder breaking the spell both Pia and Abhay were under. They were mad at Misha for disturbing their moment. Abhay began to feel a little relief. Pia turned his world upside down in one day she had done what no other woman had ever done. Made him feel emotions he steered clear of. Pia didn't know what she was doing in Abhay's arms but she felt like she belonged with him. T was seething inside while Tracker was feeling neglected. Abhay needed fresh air and fast.

Misha-U two seemed to be having your own little party of your own. Hope i'm not disturbing U guys but i haven't spent any time with Pia.

Abhay-Be my guest. I didn't even know Pia was in my arms. I thought she was Tracker. Or was it T?

Misha-Right! I believe U. Bro seriously what a way to insult a girl by claiming she's your worst enemy smooth.

Abhay-Please i don't hang with her sort. She's too safe. Have U seen the way she dresses? Her Behenji type outfits don't do it for me. Look at T and Tracker they both look Hot! No offence Pia but U need to improve on your style.

Pia-Why U idiot? How dare U compare me to those two despo's? U are such an irritating guy Abhay Raichand. To think i even wasted my precious time with U. It makes my skin crawl.

Abhay-Well from where i'm standing U seemed to be enjoying my company. I told U to stay away from me. What part didn't U get?

Misha-So U guys don't like each other.

Both in unison-No!
