All three of them left the room to go downstairs where Geet had parked. Geet told Adi all about how sick she was and the prank she played on her friend with her dog cookie. Maan kept on looking at the whole time while she was telling her stories to Adi. He couldn't help but smile at her talk and her innocence (well when she wants to be innocent) He still wanted to tell her who he was but knew that she would not talk to him since recently they had resolved plotting revenge against each other. All three reached the main lobby.
Geet: Alright Adi Sir and Maan sir I have parked the car on the street

Adi: ohh alright..I will sit in the front this time

Maan looks at Adi: Why? I am the boss I should sit in the front?

Adi: That is not fair. Last time you sat in the front when Geet picked us up from the airport...now it should be my turn.

Maan was about to say something but was interrupted by Geet: Why are you both fighting? Does it really matter because either way we are going to the same destination
Maan couldn't believe that he was actually fighting for a seat..he quickly came to his

MSK attitude: hmm you are right Geet...lets go unless we want to spend the whole night in the main lobby arguing

Geet: Alright than lets go...the car is parked five minutes away from here

All three were walking on the street..Maan spots Geets car on the street and decides to walk ahead of them a little so that he can sit in the front before Adi can. Geet unlocks her car with remote control as soon as Maan heard the beep beep sound of the car being unlocked he quickly sat inside the car.
Geet: ohh no

Maan feels something squishy under him as soon as he sits in the car "what is this" he get out of the car and looks at the seat...there were crumbs all over the front seat..he looks at his "rear" side and notices cake all over his pant...Adi and Geet comes near the car and notices the mess...Adi starts laughing as soon as he sees Maan in that state..Geet after a while joins Adi.
Maan: GEEEETTTTTTT

Adi and Geet both stop laughing as soon as they saw Maan's anger...

Maan continued: Geet what is this? you have ruined my pant

Geet looks at Maan: how is it my fault? Did I tell you to run like a a monkey and sit in the car..and by the way did I say anything to you for ruining my cake that I made for Dev sir and his wife for their anniversary?

Maan couldn't believe her: You called me a monkey?

Geet: I didn't call you a monkey per se I said you were running like a monkey..unless you think you look like a monkey?

Maan comes near Geet with full anger visible in his eyes: How dare you say that to me? First you ruinied my pant and now you are calling me a monkey?

Geet gasps: I worked all day today making a perfect cake for Dev Sir..I didn't even come to work today because of that and it took you one minute one minute to ruin my beautiful creation...I should be yelling at you for running my cake and you are bragging about your pant which by the way could be changed..what bout my cake huh (putting both hands on her hips) are you going to make my cake again?

Maan goes near the car seat and picks whats left of the cake in his hand and shows it to Geet: This? you call this as your "beautiful creation" it doesn't even look that good

Geet: It did look good until you decided to sit on it...

Maan: Now what am I suppose to do Miss. Geet...is it my fault that you decided to put the cake in the front seat?

Geet: ohh very nice put the blame on me...you know what let me give you an idea (Maan looked at her confused) why don't you take this cake and fish it

Maan's mouth fell open he walks closer to her with cake still in his hand..Adi who was watching the exchange of Maan and Geet going at each other back and forth about cake and pant..he decided to end the fude before it becomes ugly knowing Maan. He comes and stands in between Maan and Geet

Adi: Sir, Geet (both looked at Adi) we have to go? Maan Sir you can go and change your clothing again in the hotel before we are late to Dev Sirs party

Geet: Adi you are right..at least someone is sensible

Maan looked at Geet: what did you mean by that statement?

Geet: I didn't mean anything I just said that Adi said very sensible thing

Maan: I don't think that's what you meant

Geet: ohh yeah than why don't you tell me what I meant

Adi: Alright both of you stop it please!!!

Maan: Adi I will be back in 10 minutes

Adi: Alright sir

Geet: Adi lets go sit in the car while he comes..I will have to wake up early tomorrow before work and clean the car that someone made a mess of (Geet puts on the radio and started playing the previous songs and instantly started singing her "remix" version (in her head of course lol) it has been almost 10 minutes since Maan left..Geet looked at the watch and it was 8:20 pm
Geet: where is your Maan Sir we are late

Adi: Don't worry he will be here soon

Geet: I hope so..hey whose fault do you think it was mine or his?

Adi: Geet what other music do you have? (trying to change the topic)

Geet: Come on tell me whose fault it was

Adi: umm its better if I don't answer it ha ha ha

Geet: hmm

Adi: here comes Maan sir

Geet drove closer to Maan and pulled up right next to him..Maan looked at her with anger and sat in the back seat...none spoke to each other through the whole way to Dev's house...
Adi broke the silence: Geet are we close?

Geet: umm yeah we will be there in 5 more minutes

Adi: ohh ok (he looks at his watch and it was 8:40)

Finally they arrived at his house...Geet parks the car in the driveway and all three made their way to the door..Geet goes to the back of the trunk and gets her second present out..(both Maan and Geet were ignoring each other and didn't once look into each others eyes)
Adi: It doesn't look like its a party...not that many cars are parked

Geet: Dev sir don't do parties...he just have close friends and family over for dinner for any type of occasions

Adi: ohh ok

Geet rings the bell...Dev Sirs wife Naintara opens the door...

NT: Geet you are here..I was beginning to get worried

Geet: Sorry I am late..we had a situation in the car (looking at Maan)

NT: Its ok and who do we have here?

Geet: These are our clients from India that am sure Dev sir must've told you about...this is Adi (with smile on while introducing him) and this is Maan (with anger in her voice and no smile)

Maan: its a pleasure meeting you

Adi: Nice to meet you and happy anniversary

NT: Nice to meet you both..well come on in...Dev is in the kitchen with the other guests

Geet: Alright thanx so much...here this is for you and Dev sir

Adi: These flowers are for you guys from both of us as well

NT: Well thank you so much..Geet where is your special cake you make?

Geet looks at Maan with anger: Sorry I didn't had time to make it today but don't worry I will make it tonight especially for you

NT (laughed) don't worry about it I was kidding..lets go to the dinning table everyone is there all ready

Geet: sure

All three went to the dining table where Dev and other guests were already present...Dev saw NT enter with Geet and Maan..
Dev: There you guys are

Maan: Sorry we are late

Dev: It is alright..you guys came right on time we are just about to being eating

Nt: please you guys make yourself comfortable...

After Dev introduced Maan and Adi to everyone on the table they all took their seat on the emply chairs. Geet knew almost everyone as this was not her first time at Dev's house. Maan ended up sitting right next to Geet..Geet tried to be far away as the chair would allow to be without drawing any eyes. (Ok let me introduce you to the guests: Shilpa and Armaan who are married and is expecting their first kid, Rahul and Arohi who have been married for the past five years and of course Dev and NT lol)

Geet: Shilpa how far along are you now?

Shilpa: I am about 6 months now

Geet: wow..is it going to be a boy or a girl?

Shilpa: Its going to be a boy...

Armaan: Yeah I can't wait till we have our first kid

Arohi: Congratulations Shilpa and Armaan..

Rahul: Good luck man..having a kid is not easy

Arohi looks at Rahul: What you do mean its not easy?

Dev: yeah Rahul is right...having a kid is so much work

NT: Dev please having a kid is so nice..I can't wait till we have our own kid

Dev choked on his food: What do you mean? That is in the future..I am not ready yet

Rahul: Yeah Dev you said that right thing

Arohi: Please Rahul, NT you are right I cant wait till me and Rahul have our kid as well

Rahul: Arohi don't start here as well...we have talked about this allready

Arohi: We have? I don't remember? (pretending)

Armaan: Come on guys why are you guys arguing about this? Look at me am I complaining that we are having a kid?

Shilpa: What do you mean complaing? So you dont want this kid?

Armaan looks at Shilpa and everyone who was looking at him with a smile on their face especially the gusy were giving him "you are so dead looks": No of course I didnt mean that

Maan, Geet and Adi all looked at everyone on the table having converstation about kids...Maan couldn't beleive it "Kids" just the thought of kids makes his blood boil..he hated kids...
NT: What do you think Geet?

Geet: I think all the girls are right..I mean men shouldn't have any problems when it is us who give birth to the kids and it us who carry the kids around for 9 months and feed them, clean their diapers and whatnot

Arohi: You are so right..I don't understand men mentality about "not being ready" I mean it should be us who should be saying that

Geet: yes you are right! All they have to do is provide for the kids the rest is us who take care of everything

Shilpa: Yep

Maan: I don't agree with this..you are saying as if us men don't do anything at all...I mean we play an important part in having kids..without us you guys won't be having kids

Dev: Right

Geet: Please "two peas in a pod" is not required anymore if you know what I mean...and besides nowadays technology is so advanced that technically speaking we don't need you guys in order to "give" us kids...(All the girls started laughing while men looked at each other confused...Adi who was listening to this was super confused (he is so innocent lol))
Arohi: Why didn't I think of this before (Rahul gaver her a weird look)

Rahul: What do you mean by technology?

Geet: hmm am sure your wife could explain that to you later (laughing) and there is always another option of adoption of course

Maan: Please there is no such thing like that..this still requires us to play a role in order to have kids and if we are not ready than you guys shouldn't be complaining...

Geet: no (was interrupted by NT)

NT: Geet how many kids do you want to have when you get married?

Maan was very curious to know her answer he looked at Geet: I want to have three kids of course (Maan started coughing when he heard that and thought "three kids?")

Maan: Why three?

Geet: I don't know..I always wanted to have three kids and I have it all planned out too

Maan: Planned?

Geet: Yeah I want to have each kid to be two years apart at least (Maan dropped the spoon that he was holding in his hand "two years apart that means...")
(All the girls were very curious to know why) Shilpa: Why every two years?

Geet: look the kids are going to be two years apart right? (all the girls noded while men looked at Geet waiting for her to continue) and having kids is expensive am sure you all will agree so if kids are two years apart they than each kid can wear hand-me-down clothes which will save us money and they all will grow up together. All the kids can go to same school together so they can look after each other in case there is trouble. When the kids are all grown up they all can leave the house and whatnot almost at the same time leaving you to enjoy the retirement. Its very simple!

Arohi: WOW!!! BRAVO!! What an idea

NT: Yeah wow am impressed

Shilpa: not a bad idea..it makes sense

Geet: Thank you

All the guys looked at Geet as if they were planning her murder in their heads while they listened their respective wives give compliments to her.
Geet: Its either my future husband give me three kids or for me to have triplets (laughed)
NT: haha Geet you have it all figured it out..what if your husband is not ready?

Geet: hmmm I don't know I haven't thoguht of that but he would have no option

Maan dropped the glass of water on himself everyone looked at him..

NT: OMG are you ok Maan..the bathroom is right down the hall...

Dev: You can borrow my pant

Maan "triplets, three kids, two years" he was lost in his own world didn't pay attention to what everyone was saying...

NT: Maan come with me I will give you a spare pant

Maan: huh umm thanx

The rest of the dinner went very quietly and with other random topics...all three left after hanging around the house for a little while longer..Geet and Maan were still not talking to each other, she quietly dropped them off at the hotel and made her way home...
