Chori Chori (end)
Phoolon ke khwaabon mein aakar
Khushboo chura le gayi
Baadal ka aanchal bhi aakar
Paagal hawa le gayi
Ek phool ne ek phool se
Phir kaan mein kuchh kaha
She runs up to her room, his room, the room, wishing to escape his penetrating gaze. Oh babji, why do i always get myself into these situations. She runs inside the room and drops down onto the bed, hiding her face in her hands. She hopes that she was not too flustered around him in the kitchen, she had already revealed too much to him yesterday night. She had hoped that this morning would go better, but it seems that was not destined. Not only was he her grandson but she had also been occupying his room for the past few days.
No matter how jokingly he put it, maybe she should find out more about her rescuers the next time anyone helps her. It seemed that it was her fate to have her life entangled with this family. She wonders though how could she have lived here so many days and not found this out. As she is debating this in her head, she is struck by the thought of what she is going to do now. Caught in the question, she lowers her hands from her face, and starts pacing the room. Going from here to there, she keeps muttering to herself the possibilities of what to do.
Chori chori jab nazarein mili
Chori chori phir neendein udi
Chori chori yeh dil ne kaha
Chori mein bhi hai maza
He clutches the roses and quickly makes his way to his room. His room, where she had been staying for the past few days. He definitely needs to rethink his stance about staying in the main house. As he reaches his room, he looks in through the window and is caught by the sight of his love, moving up and down the room, twisting the edge of her pallu in her fingers. She looked to be muttering something constantly with occasional looks thrown up at the ceiling. No doubt she is talking to her Babji again, probably about me. Well at least she is thinking about me constantly. Smiling, he moves towards the door and quietly slips inside the room. Placing the flowers on the table, he leans back to watch her and enjoy the show which was soon be exclusively his. He is also glad for this little distraction because he had been a little apprehensive to face her. Why apprehensive, well from her amused look last night, he was sure there would be some teasing coming his way. Not the he was afraid, of course, but because he had little defense against her mischief.
As he keeps looking at her, his eyes following her around his, their, room he catches the transformed looks of the room. Where once the room sported the neat organized stacks of his things, now the bureau held the disarrayed cluster of hers, one side held her jewelry whereas the other sported her makeup and perfume. There were remnants of her things on most of the tables, and though he could not see it now, he was sure that the closet was now lined with her clothes. Having seen this, and knowing what his room looked like before, it was so easy for him to imagine what it could look it. The future state of this room when their things were combined. His attention is half on her and half on his daydreams, when his attention is brought fully back to her when as she turns, she catches sught of him and stops in her track, and they are staring at each other again, on the brink of loosing into each other.
Rishton ke neele bhanwar
Kuchh aur gehre huay
Tere mere saaye hain
Pani pe thehre huay
Jab pyar ka moti gira
Banne laga daira
Finally as she is making a turn to once again make her way up the room, she catches the sight of his amused stance next to the room's door. She is unable to help herself, and is lost in his gaze. All thoughts of retribution and escape, lost from the intensity in his eyes. So lost is she that she does not even move, when he eases off the wall and takes slow stalking steps towards her. She does not even blink when he is standing less than a feet away from her. She finally snaps out of her trance, when he does not stop even when he is a feet away, no he keeps his forward movement and catches her around her waist. She finally takes a step back then but he does not let go. As she continues taking steps back, he takes the steps with her, holding her almost completely flushed against himself. She is finally stooped when she hits the wall. Chori chori jab nazarein mili
Chori chori jab nazarein mili
Chori chori phir neendein udi
Chori chori yeh dil ne kaha
Chori mein bhi hai maza
