Part 3
Recap: Armaan and Maan are in the canteen eating food when Riddhima and Muskaan come there and find out that Armaan is going to join Sanjeevani hospital as an intern. Riddhima is shocked and pulls Muskaan with her out of the canteen. She talks to her Dad at night and misses him. Armaan and Maan leave for Sanjeevani.
Armaan (driving the car): So Maan aaj all set internship ka pehla din. Are you nervous? (he asks him teasingly)
Maan (gives him the stares): Tujhe kya lagta hai!!! Ofcourse nervous hoon main' I have heard that the Doctor who would be supervising us is very strict and follows a distinct schedule and doesn't like late comers'
Armaan: Don't worry yaar ' we are on time'.11 bajne main thoda time to hoga hi na' we will be on time'.
Maan (looks at him surprisingly''):Didn't you look the watch when you came???
Armaan: Why? Did I miss something?
Maan: You really don't know? (Armaan looks at him with the look that says just blurt it out')Ok Ok check your watch'
Armaan: Why??? He finally checks it'''..and stops the car'. with a jerk'.. What in the world were you thinking when you woke me up two hours early' I am gonna kill you for this'
Maan: I didn't want us to be late on the first day. And besides I was expecting you be late' but tu hi jaldi aa gaya toh main naa toh nahin keh sakta na'..(n he smiles at Armaan)
Armaan just glares at Maan. He starts his car again and they drive to Sanjeevani.Riddhima and Muskaan wake up around 8:00 and their exam is at 9:30. They start running here and there gathering clothes, brushing teeth, ironing their clothes, etc etc and then rush off to bath. Finally by 9:15am they both get ready to leave'.Muskaan is about to leave when Riddhima calls her back and Muskaan remembers'
Riddhima: Pratna bina hi jane wali thi'.
Muskaan: Woh main hadbadahath main bhul gayi'.
Muskaan comes to the Mandir that they had formed in their room and with Riddhima they do a little prayer and then leave for the examination. Armaan and Maan (AM for short) reach Sanjeevani and the first impresiion that they have of the hospital is magimous and grand with everyone from nurse to wardboys to patients on the run.
Maan (thinks to himself ): This is the place where I belong the place where I wanted to be all my life.
Armaan( looks at Sanjeevani and thinks): One step closer to the goal of becoming a doctor.
Maan happens to look at him and he realizes it ... In a instant Armaan changes and
says: Yaar yahan pe kaam karne main maza ayega itni beautiful nurses jo hai..
Maan: Tu kabhi nahin sudherega...
And they both go in the Hospital. As they enter the hospital they see patients being carried on strecher in the lifts, relatives waiting in the waiting room, some at the billing coutner, and amidst all this they spot the Nurse station where they were supposed to report. They move towards the nurse station and Maan asks the nurse: Hello Madam, is this the nurse station
Nurse: Yes.
Maan: Hi we are the new interns could you tell us where can we find Dr. Keerti as we have to report to her at 11am sharp
Nurse: Dr Keerti is in a surgery right now and won't be out until 11. And I cannot allow anyone to go to her cabin until she comes. Her cabin is the third left down the corridor but no ones there right now.
Maan:Thankyou
Armaan just looks at Maan
Maan: Thik hai na yaar kabhi kabhi aa jate hai jaldi to usme kya...
Armaan: Nai maine kuch kaha... kuch bhi kaha maine....
Maan: Thik hai par ab kya kare..
Armaan: Ab aa hi gaye hai toh hospital dekh lete hai... aur cafeteria main ja kar ate hai...( to the nurse) Hi( he looks at her name tag) Miss Koyal( the nurse smiles that someone took her nameand in the sweetest possible manner he says ) kya aap hame cafeteria ka raasta bata sakhte hain....
The Nurse blushes (typical Armaan effect): yeah sure once you cross Dr. Keerti's cabin you have to make a right and then follow straight' the cafeteria is towards the end.
Armaan (bends a little at the nurse station towards the nurse and says): Thankyou Koyal.
And he leaves... The nurse just keeps blushing......
Maan: Kya yaar tu sab ke saath aisa kyun karta hain ...kisi ko tujhse pyaar ho gaya toh... tu toh dil tod hi dega na uska...
Armaan: Arre I was just making her feel special that the work that she does is a good work....Aur agar kisi ko padna hota hi mere pyaar main toh Apni Riddhima hi na padti.... teen saal se use yeh doz main roz de raha hoon..lol.....
Maan (laughs'): kyunki woh tere type ki nahin hain.....
Arman just doesnt pay attention.... They pass Dr. Keerti's cabin and see that no one is there just as the nurse spoke and go towards the cafeteria......Its 10.30 and RM(Riddhima Muskaan) are in the examination hall....Armaan and Maan reach the nurse station and instead of Dr. Keerti they see a guy and a girl standing there not even talking to each other'. But just standing there'. They wonder maybe we have two Dr. Keerti's 😆 But then they hear Dr. Keerti's voice. '
Dr. Keerti: Welcome Interns. I am Dr. Keerti. I will give you your lab coats and identification and show you around the hospital and your duties in a gist. So let's go to my cabin.
They all follow her to her cabin... Armaan and Maan are still wondering why are these two following her? They think maybe they are patients waiting for Dr. Keerti'
Armaan:( goes near the male and says) aap ko jo bhi bimari hain mujhe batana main bhi medicine padh raha hoon shayad apki help ho jaye'. Who bhi free main'.
Dr.. Keerti (hears that ... stops her pace and turns around'.)Dr. Armaan you are forgetting that aap abhi yahan intern hai aur patient interaction ke liye abhi time hai' Dr Armaan is about to say..Lekin Ma'.. Dr. Keerti interrupts him) aur waise bhi yeh hamare patient nahin hain' (and continues her pace'.towards her cabin... A guy was already waiting for her in her cabin. She nods to him and All the four enter in after her in her cabin')Hello Everyone! Let me introduce my colleague Dr. Rahul. (Dr. Rahul nods and says hello interns)He is a general physician and is one of the best we have here'.. and he will be helping me in assigning duties to all of you(Dr Rahul smiles) and now let me introduce myself.. I am Dr. Keerti senior gynecologist and you all will be reporting to me for any duties or emergencies. On the desk are you lab coats, pager and stethoscopes. Pick them up before you leave and now please introduce yourselves to your colleagues beginning with you Dr, Armaan
Armaan: Goodmornign everyone. My name is Dr. Armaan. I am from Seth GS Medical college and this is my first day at Sanjeevani as an intern and I am loving it'..(Dr. Keerti interrupts.. Dr Armaan we are not here to enjoy but to learn how to help people at the risk of a failure,or an injury)..yes Dr. Keerti I was coming to that '..(Dr. keerti Interrupts again.. Thankyou Dr. Armaan.. moving on'.she points at Maan)
Maan: Hello Dr. Keerti, Dr. Rahul, and my colleagues(Keerti looks impressed) My name is Dr. Maan and I am pleased to join Sanjeevani as an intern and be able to serve the community'(Dr.. Keeerti nods' maan smiles a bit.. and Armaan wonder.s' he said the same thing as me'. Chor kahin ka baad main dekh lunga ise main')
Dr. Keerti: Go on Miss Taani..
Taani: Hello everyone My name is Miss Taani (Keerti interrupts.. Dr Taani) yes Dr. Taani Basu ... I am an intern here (the guy standing next to her looks at her) and pleased to be selected to work at Sanjeevani .
Dr. Keerti: Thankyou Dr. Taani and last but not the least Mr. Anurag'
Anurag: Goodmornign everyone My name is Anurag Ganguly and I am intern from Sanjeevani Kolkatta ready to serve the Mumbai Sanjeevani branch.
Dr. Keerti : Well now you know each others'' Make sure you get ur stuff and follow me .. we will be going around the hospital.( .. to Dr. Rahul' thanks I will see you in a bit, he nods and she leaves'.)
Dr.. Keerti goes out of the cabin followed by the interns. She shows them around the hospital, on all the four floors, the 6OT(Operations theaters), Emergency rooms, General Wards, Pediatric Ward, Gerontology ward, the nurse station, Path lab, Research Lab, and the Locker Room where they would be placing their requirements. She then leaves and tells them that they have half an hour before they can report to the nurse station so they can be comfortable and if they have any questions she is in her office.
Once she leaves they all become relaxed'Armaan goes on first to introduce himself'to Taani'.
Armaan: Hi Dr. Taani my name is Dr. Armaan aur aapka..
She smiles and says Taani'
Armaan: Dr. Taani nice to meet you '( n then he introduces Maan) and yeh hai mera sabse acha wala yaar Maan( they nod to each other' all this while the third guy is very silent and just fidgeting with his locker'.Armaan goes to him and gives him a pat on the shoulder') Hi I am Armaan aur tumm'.(the guys doesn't respond at first '''..looks at Taani' who immediately looks away somewhere else' and then he turns and introduces himself''.as Anurag Gangully..) Nice meeting all of you'chalo Nurse station jate hain' varna Dr. Keerti hame dhunte yaha na aajaye'( to Taani) chale Taani..( she nods and they go out together'..
Maan bechara piche reh gaya'he looks at Anurag)
Maan: Hi my name is Maan( Anu introduces himself) chale varna Dr. Keertii..(Anurag nods and they leave for the nurse station..)
Dr. Keerti (comes at the nurse station): Interns since its your first day today does not mean that you will be pardoned.. In fact we believe in traiing you right from the beginning(Armaan looks at Maan with an expression ki maar gaye aaj)Dr. Taani and Dr. Armaan you would be assisiting Dr. Rahul with his patients today so you have brief of how Doctors interact with patients and how do you write the chart'(the two nod at Dr. Keerti) Dr. Maan and Dr. Anurag you would be assisting me in two of my cases today( they nod).. Ok interns start your work.. Dr Maan and Dr. Anurag go to the general ward and meet Dr. Nikita she will show you the procedure of writing a report and then come to the pediatric ward in Room 305 to assist me. Dr Taani and Dr.Armaan Dr. Rahul is in cabin in Room 402 you should go and report to him immediately'.( and they leave)
Its 1:30pm
Muskaan and Riddhima finally finish their papers and come out of the examination hall.
Riddhima: Paper waise thik tha but I hope mujhe ache grades mile.
Muskaan: Mujhe bhi yaar.. paper ke time pe mujhe samose, aur alu hi yaad aa rahe the..
Riddhima: maine kaha tha concentrate kar kal.. but nahin tune toh meri baat suni hi nahin'.kuch nahin jo hoga thik hi hoga'
Muskaan: Yeah lets see.. chal canteen chalet hain
Riddhima: Nahin yaar Muski.. Aaj mujhe Sanjeevani jana hai'..Dad ka phone aya tha subah.. (Muskaan: kab) jab tu nahne gayi thi'. He wants me to meet him at the hospital'I am only more worries. Kal ka paper thoda sa easy hai.. aur itna padhna bhi nahin hai.. tujhe chalna hai toh mere saath chal.. (Muskaan: nahin yaar tera toh hamesha ho jata hai par mera toh baki hai' main Anjali ke room main jaake padhungi jab tak tu nahn aati'.. par pehle mujhe khana hain..woh rahi Anjali'.she waves to Anjali.. who waves her back and Muskaan joins Anjali at her table) Chal i think hai I should also be moving'
She goes to her room keeps her books changes and hails a cab to Sanjeevani Hospitalllll'
Armaan, Maan, Taani and Anurag come in the cafeteria for the lunch break and they all sit together''
Armaan: So Taani tum kya khaogi'..(Taani whispers Sandwich'.and Maan says aur mere liye'.. bhi Sandwich'.Armaan gives him staress.. so Maan says acha jane de main khud hi le aata hoon'. Maan asks Anurag what did he want he sasys Just a coffee. So Maan and Armaan go at the counter' n Armaan says to Maan) yaar samjha kar na.. mere setting mat bigad'(Maan laughs n says yeah teri setting dekhte hain')
Anurag and Taani are sitting alone at the table and Taani is feeling uncomfortable...because Anurag keeps staring at her'.
Anurag: Kaisi ho Mishty'
That name brigns back a thousand memories in Taani's mind.. She didn't want to reply to any of his comments but she didn't want him to kno that he affected her so she said
Tani: I am good and you'..
Anurag is about to say something when Armaan and Maan come back'.with the orders'.. And Armaan starts talking flirtily with Taani'. Anu was eating his sandwich he saw all that and couldn't take it anymore so he excused himself saying my pager rang I have to go'. Taani looks at him as he leaves'..The other three eat and talk'
Riddhima arrives at the hospital she gives the Taxi wala his money and enters in.. and calls her Dad, her Dad says he's in a meeting and will see her in a few minutes in the cafeteria' so she goes into the cafeteria' N sits at a table reading a book'. Armaan, Maan N Taani have to resume duties and are about to leave the cafeteria when Armaan spots Riddhima' he tells the other two to go on and he will join in a bit'. And goes to Riddhima with a paper covering his face and a coffee mug in his hands'
Armaan: Maam your coffee
Riddhima: But I didn't even order one''.
Armaan: Maam there was a Sir here he ordered it for you ( Riddhima asks who but he doesn't say anyones name just says that someone Maam we don't kno his name' Riddhima assumes it must be Her dad so she takes it and is about to thank him when he removes his paper..)
Riddhima: Tum'.. yahan bhi mujhe pareshan karne aa gaye'. Don't u have to report to duties' Dr. Keerti toh keh do'.
Armaan (looks at her'.n says'.. ):Papa KO KEH DO MUMMY KO KEH DO TEACHER KO KEH DO'.. n now Dr. Keerti ko keh do'. Mere pass mooh hain main khud keh sakta hoonnn tumhari zaruurat nahin hain' Aur by the way tum yahan kya kar rahi ho tumhe toh abhi ek saal baki hain' yaa phir mere bina tumhara dil lagta nahin isiliye tum mere piche piche yahan bhi aa gayiiii(Riddhima is like eww no ways but she doenst want to tell hm that Dr. Shashank is her father'just at that moment Dr. Shahsank comes in with Dr. Keerti he sees Armaan and Riddhima chatting and goes to Armaan..
Dr. Shashank: Ahhh Dr. Armaan welcome to Sanjeevani... hope you are having a good time'.
Armaan (says ): hello sir, Maam(to Dr. Keerti'.. sees Dr. Keerti getting angry on him ) I have to report to Dr. Rahul nice meeting you Sir maam (n leaves'..)
Dr Shashank: smiles' n says' a nice bunch of interns'we have (He speaks to Riddhima') Riddhima beta this is Dr. Keerti (Riddhima: hello maam'..keerti nods and smiles) She was the best intern of her times and the best student at the college'. And since you would be joining us soon I wanted you to meet her and wanted her to guide you'(Dr. Keerti certainly Dr Shashank) so you two talk and I will take your leave as I have a surgery to perform' (he blesses Riddhima.. ) it's so nice to see u after so many days God bless u and he leaves'
Dr Keerti : Ur father is really expecting a lot from you''(Riddhima nods that she knows) lets walk towards my cabin and talk there'
N so they go to keertis cabin and talk and have a long discussion she finally takes her leave in an hour citing exams and goes back to her hostellll
Precap: Anurag opens his door for Taani but she goes in an auto. Next Day at Sanjeevani, Dr. Keerti is giving duties to intern. Anurag tries to talk to Taani but she is avoiding him. Muskaan falls sick right after the examination.
This part is a little longer than I expected but I had to introduce new characters and show a lot of things.. So I hope you will bear with me this time.. I will defeinetly make it shorter next time.... Thankyou for your support
