Back at home nupur and samart were discussing something heatedly in the hall. Gunjan kept to her room. She didn't want to be a part of it. She didn't want to give samrat another chance to trouble her. But she was right about her luck. Nupur called out her name and asked her to come out. She reluctantly went in the hall. Both nupur and samrat looked at her. She understood she was being made the official referee now.

'great!! This was the only thing remaining. if I take nupurs side samrat will call me partial towards my best friend and trouble me more. And if i took samrats side nupur will surely call me a traitor and say that i have succumbed to samrats charm. I don't even want to know the topic of their argument.' Gunjan thought.

"what happened?", gunjan asked quietly.

"gunajn tell me one thing do you like diya?", nupur asked.

"what?", gunjan asked.

" I asked do you like diya? Tell honestly.", nupur said.

Gunjan couldn't believe they were fighting over this. She couldn't blame samrat. she hated when people commented on her friends.

"nupur what do I care about diya? And Why do I have to like her?, she asked.

"haa!! See.", nupur said triumphantly.

Samrat looked at gunjan. He wanted to know why she didn't like diya. Who was she to comment on his friends. He was angry at her.

'who the hell does she think she is? Commenting on my friends. So what she is nupurs best friend and she is also cute' ok scratch that. She is not cute. No-one who comments on my friends can be cute. I don't like her at all.', samrat thought.

Gunjan saw samrat looking at her. She knew what he was thinking. She knew she had to clarify herself.

"nupur diya doesn't affect me so I don't see why I have to comment over her or like her. I know you have issues with her but don't drag me in them. She is not my concern. She samrats friend and what he thinks about diya is more important then what you and I think. I had already told you this. Remember.", gunjan said.

Nupur sulked. She knew gunjan was right. They both had a strict policy of not commenting on someone that didn't affect them. Nupur always refused to comment on some of gunjans prejudices and gunjan also didn't comment on people nupur hated and who didn't affect her.

"right. Okay fine. Maybe she doesn't affect you but she affects me. She is irritating and also rude. She has too much of attitude. She behaves as if she owns the place. you know how much I hate people like that.", nupur said.

"nupur even I hate people like that. But she doesn't affect me. We have just met once and it was just hi-hello conversation. I cant really judge her in just one meeting.", gunjan explained.

Samrat looked at gunjan. She had pretty much explained what she thought. He liked the fact that she didn't comment on his friends without knowing them.

' well she is not that bad. She is practical and rational. And intelligent too. Does she comes to know what I'm thinking bcoz everytime I seem to have a doubt she clears it instantly.', samrat thought.

"thanks gunjan. And nupur would you like if I commented on your friends without knowing them?", samrat asked.

"samrat mere bhai, mere sirf do achche doston ko tum jante ho. Ek mayank aur dusri gunjan. Mayank kaisa ladka hain yeh tumhe pata hain aur tum uske achche dost bhi ho. Aur rahi baat gunjan ki toh mere khayal se tum usse kaafi impressed ho. Right?", nupur asked smiling. She knew when she had her brother cornered.

Samrat flushed. He didn't mean to. But the comment somehow affected him. Well it was true that gunjan had him impressed, but that was bcoz of her attitude and nothing else.

Gunjan flushed at nupurs comment. Gunjan knew nupur too well and knew she was just trying to snub samrat but nevertheless the comment affected her. It was as if she was teasing her with samrat.

"ab tum dono ki discussion khatam ho gayi ho toh kya hum khana kha sakte hain. Mujhe bahut bhuk lag rahi hain.", gunjan said changing the topic..

Samrat smiled. The comment had affected her.

'she is cute. Nupur ki friend kaise hain?', he thought.
