Nupur rang the bell. Mayank's mom, opened the door. She didn't recognise nupur since she had not seen her for 4 years.

"namaste aunty!", nupur greeted her.

"namaste beta! Par tum ? maine tumhe pehchaana nahi.", she told nupur.

"aunty main nupur, mayank ki dost. Main nupur mehra. Yaad aaya?", nupur told her.

"arre nupur beta. Sorry main tumhe pehchaan nahi paayi. Kitni badi ho gayi ho. Aur kitni pyaari lag rahi ho. Andar aao. Mayank net oh bataya hi nahi kit um wapas aa gayi ho. Yeh mayu bhi naa.", shilpa aunty said.

"kya? mayank ne aapko bataya nahi. Usko toh main chodungi nhai. Khair aap bataiyen aap kaisi hain? Main aapko aur aapke pakodon ko bahut miss karti thi by god.", nupur told her.

"maine bhi tumhe bahut miss kiya beta.", shilpa aunty told her.

"waise aunty yeh mayank kahaan hain? Mujhe uske saath project karna hain. Meri kismet hi kharab hain.", nupur said and shilpa laughed.

"mayank apne kamre mein hain. Jaao usse mil lo. Main tumhare liye kuch khan eke liye le aati hun.", shilpa told nupur.

Nupur headed for mayank's room. Mayanks door was closed so she opened it. Mayank was nowhere to be seen. She entered the room. It was neat and clean just how mayanks room could be. She smiled at the thought and turned to leave when suddenly mayank came in front and she was surprised. She almost tripped when mayank caught her by her waist, their faces inches away from each other. They both stared at each other. This was the first time they were so close. Maynk and nupur had always been best friends but they never really came too close to each other.

Mayank couldn't take his eyes off her. His heart was doing this flip flop thing which he couldn't explain.

'her eyes are so beautiful. I never nticed all this while. Mayank shut up she is nupur, you best friend. Whats with you?' mayank tought.

Meanwhile nupurs heart was also doing the flip flop thing. She had never expected to be this close to mayank. Her heart was racing. She couldn't explain why.

"nupur aao tumhare liye pakode banaye hain. Saath mein mayu ko bhi leti aana.", shilpa shouted from the kitchen.

Shilpa's voice brought them back to their senses. Maynk straightened nupur and left her waist. He stepped back alittle. Both looked embarrassed. They looked everywhere but at each other. This was bcoz they had not expected to feel that flip flop thing. After all they were best friends. They were scared that if the other came to know what was going thru their minds then what may happen.

They went out and had the pakodas. After that mayank and nupur started with their project forgetting about the previous incident.
