Few days had passed since gunjan and nupur had come to Mumbai. It had bcum a ritual for gunjan to wake samrat up. he never took too much time to wake up though as DJ had said.

Gunjan enterd samrats room. She started to wake him up.

"samrat utho. Samrat please utho.", she kept on saying but samrat didn't budge.

Now she was getting annoyed. She hated when people made her wait. She went near samrats ear and shouted,

"SAMRAT"

Samrat got up with a start. He looked around. He saw gunjan smiling.

"good morning samrat, now get ready or we'll be late", saying this gunjan went out of the room.

Samrat couldn't believe his eyes. 'Was it really gunjan who had done this? She never looked like someone who would make me jump out of bed. She is really mysterious.', samrat concluded.

In nupurs room, nupur was trying to memorize some notes. Gunjan saw her and commented,

"wow, nupur mehra books ke saath who bhi tab jab exams itne dur hain. Kamal hain. Lagta hain kayamat kareeb hain."

"mazak mat kar gunjan. Yeh mayank toh mujhe phaasi hi laga dega. Mujhse yeh notes memorize hi nahin ho rahe hain. Agar mayaynk ne mujhse pucha….jo mujhe pata hain who puchega….toh main kya karungi? Hey bhagwan mayank ko hi mera partner banana tha?", nupur said.

"nupur yeh toh achchi baat hain ke mayank tumhara partner hain. Who itna intelligent hain ke tumhe toh kuch karna hi nahi padega. Aur waise bhi jaise internals ke liye padhti thi waise hi padho. Memorize karne ki kya jarurat hain. Concepts samajh mein aa gaye toh problem hi nahi hogi. Who tode hi tumhara return test lene wala hain.", gunjan told her.

"gunjan tu mayank ko nahi jaanti. Agar uske jagah koi aur intelligent partner hota toh tension hi nahin thi. Par mayank, uske liye yeh bhi important hain ki main bhi apne hisse ka kaam karu. Aur shayad tu thik kehrahi hain ke mujhe memorize karne ki koshish nahi karni chahiye. Par kya karu yeh concept samajh mein hi nahi aa raha.", nupur answered.

"dikhao. Main bhi toh dekhu aisa kaunsa concept hain jo nupur mehra ke samajh men nahi aa raha. Arre yeh toh simple hain.", gunjan said.

Gunjan explained nupur the concept and after that they headed to have their breakfast.

On the breakfast table, they sat on their usual seats. Samart had his hand on his ear. Looking at him nupur asked,

"Tumhe kya hua. Kaan par haath kyun rakha hain? Lagta hain kal ki party kuch jyada hi loud thi. Even by samrats std.", nupur commented.

"Party toh nahi par alarm bell kuch jyada loud thi.", samrat said looking at gunjan.

Gunjan looked everywhere but at him. She suppressed her laugh at his comment.

' ab tumne mujhe itna irritate kiya hain. Agar main ek baar karu toh kya badi baat haiin. I have my moments samrat.', gunjan thought.

Nupur looked at gunjan. She came to know that gunjan was the alarm bell. She usually got irritated when she did it to her but it was great to know that someone had made samrat jump out of his bed.

"great going gunjan. Finally mere bhai ko mere alawa koi aisa mil gaya jo usse pareshan kare. And I'm glad its you. Agar kal bhi yeh naa uthe naa toh phir se alarm bajana ok.", nupur said smirking.

"nups tum apne notes pe concentrate karo warna TUMHARA mayank gussa ho jaayega.", samrat said

Samart knew mayank was nupurs best friend but he also liked to tease nupur with him. He knew nupur had no idea what mayank was for her. Samrat did. Nupur was always in the 'he is my best friend' mode. But samrat knew that there was more to this friendship and mayank and nupur both had no idea about it.

"shut up samrat. Mayank mera best friend hain.", nupur said loudly.

"nupur usne kahaan kuch aur kahaan? Usne toh sirf itna kahaan ke tumhara maynk gussa ho jaayega. Technically toh yeh correct hain. I mean, dekho mayank tumhara best friend hain na toh tumhara uspar haq banta hain. Ab isme samrat ko shut up kehne ki kya jarurat hain. Technically toh who sahi keh raha hain.". gunjan teased nupur.

Samrat looked at gunjan. She was indeed a mystery. It had been quite a few days she was staying with her but still he hadn't figured her out.

'One moment she stays quiet and suddenly she shouts in my ears and now she is helping me tease nupur. Kya ladki hain.", samrat thought.

"oh miss technical. Tum jyada samrat ka saath mat do ok. Main dekh rahi hun tum aaj kal kuch jyada hi iska saath deti ho.", nupur said teasing her.

samrat and gunjan looked at each other and then at nupur. She was teasing them. They both were at loss of words. Gunjan recovered first this time. She knew how to snub nupur.

"nupur who main iska saath is liye deti hun kyunke jab tum iske saath hoti ho toh kaafi irrational ho jaati ho. Agar tumne notice nahi kiya toh main mayank ka bhi aise hi saath deti hun. Tum USKE saath bhi toh irrational ho jaati ho.", gunjan gave it back to her.

Samrat couldn't stop staring at her. He had not imagined her to be someone who could give back to nupur when he was lost for words.

'She is sharp too. Wait dude!! wahts wrong with you? Har baar uski qualities kyun ginte rehte ho?.' he thought.

"tum log agar aise hi ladte rahe toh late ho jaaoge. Ab chalo naashta jaldi khatam karo aur jaao.", DJ told them.
