Episode 5:
New character introduced:
Dadi: originally lives in Nainital, Funny, Caring, Angad and Prithvi's grandma, mother of Dilip, got a habit of slapping everyone, her best grand children are Angad and Kripa (Kripa isn't really her grand daughter but because the Sharma family and the Khanna family were so close, Dadi treated Simone and Kripa like her grand children), very old but acts like she is still young.
Continued:
Angad and Kripa were so happy to see Dadi at Kripa's house. They found that all of Angad's family was there as well.
Dadi (she slapped Angad and Kripa on their cheek): "Why did you take so long to come?"
Angad: "Actually Dadi, me and Kripa…"
Dadi: "Mein sab janthi hoon…tum dono honeymoon par the na?"
Angad and Kripa were shocked.
Angad and Kripa (together): "HONEYMOON???"
They were both interrupted.
Naina: "Angad, Kripa…come with me."
Angad and Kripa were still shocked but followed Naina and Gayathri to the next room.
In the other room:
Gayathri and Naina tried explaining to Angad and Kripa as to what was going on.
Angad: "Mum…what's this…what is Dadi saying?"
Kripa: "I know…I'm really confused…why did she ask if I and Angad had gone to our honeymoon?"
Gayathri: "Dekho Kripa…this is a long story."
Naina: "Two years ago when your Dadi came to meet us….we kept a promise to her."
Angad: "What sort of promise?"
Gayathri: "A promise that you and Kripa will get married to each other."
Naina: "What happened was: one day when all of us four (Dilip, Naina, Suryban and Gayathri) were sitting with your Dadi, out of the blue, your Dadi made us promise that next time she comes here, she would want to see Angad and Kripa living a happily married life with each other. We couldn't say no, and we also couldn't get you two married because you hated each other, so this time when Dadi came we wanted to make it out as if you two were married. Please, please... for our sake pretend that you two are living a happily married life together… plus it's only for a month…then when your Dadi goes back to Nainital, you can live your life back to normal. Please beta!"
Angad and Kripa were shocked that their parents had made a decision without even asking them. But they didn't want to upset their Dadi nor their parents. It took them a long time to say anything. Then they came up with a decision.
Angad and Kripa (together): "O.k., we will play along with this lie….but only for a month…that's it!
Gayathri and Naina (together): "Oh…thank you so much…now quickly get ready for tonight's party (they arrived in Mumbai in the early morning)."
Gayathri: "Kripa a brought a sari for you…wear that tonight o.k.?"
Kripa: "Wait; hang on a second….a party?"
Naina: "Yes a party, your Dadi held a party especially for you to… it's for your marriage."
Kripa and Angad pulled a weird face but quickly got ready for tonight's party.
