Bigg Boss 19: Anusha Dandekar clears the air on participation rumours

Television host and popular VJ Anusha Dandekar has finally addressed the ongoing rumours about her participating in Bigg Boss 19. In a recent interview, Anusha confirmed that she has no plans to be part of the show and that the makers haven’t even approached her.

Adding a bit of humour to her statement, Anusha said she is surprised that every year her name gets linked with the show. “Honestly, I don’t know why my name keeps coming up. I’ve always said I’m not going into that house. If they’re going to use my name for free publicity, they should pay me,” she joked. Her funny yet direct response has put an end to the speculation around her being one of the contestants this season.

She further shared that she hasn’t received any official invitation from the Bigg Boss team. “They haven’t contacted me—not even once,” Anusha said. She even laughed and added that if she ever entered the house, she wouldn’t last long. “They probably know I’d sneak out halfway through!” she said, clearly showing that reality TV is not something she’s interested in.

When asked about her thoughts on the show, Anusha mentioned that she has respect for the people who participate. “It’s not my thing, but I do think the people who go in are very brave,” she explained. She made it clear that she prefers staying away from such formats and chooses projects that align more with her interests and personality.

Anusha also revealed that she had been offered roles in earlier seasons of Bigg Boss, and even in other shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi, but she turned them down each time. Instead, she focuses on work that fits her style and allows her to express her creativity.

Looking ahead, Anusha shared that she is working on some exciting projects, including an action role in Hunter Season 2, where she stars alongside Suniel Shetty. While she didn’t reveal too much, she did say that her fans can expect more from her soon.
