Chapter Four

Angad saw Josh's mouth wide-open and Angad gave a heart-warming smile, more than half of the women fell over their feet, and as Kripa saw Savannah glaze at her with jealously, Kripa gave a sensuous smile, and all the men went hungry.

Angad grabbed Kripa's arm, while half of the population at the party were still watching, and bent down on one knee and asked in such a sexy voice, if he could have a dance with her. Kripa beamed and said yes, Angad then got back to his feet and gave her a peck on the cheeks.

Kripa gave a soft decent smile all through out the two dances she and Angad danced. Kripa grimaced at Prithiv, boy, did she not have an urge to stick her tongue out at her older brother. She hated the fact he was always protective, and worried about Kildera's reputation. It annoyed and irritated her.

She marched right up to Aliya wanting to bombard her with questions and concerns about Prithiv, her fiance. As she marched, more like huffed towards Aliya, in anger.

Bam…whoops. She immediately started a string of sorrys, "I'm so, so, very sorry, I should have been watching….,"Kripa babbled on.

"Kripa, calm down, it's oh okay." Kripa looked up.

"Savannah?" she recalled.


"OH MM GEE! No way." she cried surprised. Kripa and Savannah wrapped their arms around each other in friendship.


The two young ladies started blabbering about life and filled each up about what had happen in their lives for the 6 years Savannah and Kripa lost connection. Kripa and Savannah went to the same High School Academy, and were roommates, once upon a time.

They had been best friends, Kripa and Savannah had always told each other whom they had crushes on and or was cheating on someone. Kripa and Savannah were the girls who ruled the school.

It was odd, how they had met at the doorsteps hating and were jealous of each other, both Kripa and Savannah were from rich families.

Savannah' s father, was the General of the Baryen's Army and Kripa being the Princess of Kildera, had both inherited the war blood and were very highly respected at any battlefield school all due their ancestors.

As Kripa and Savannah continued to babbler Aliya swept up and gave a friendly peek on both of Savannah's cheeks, Aliya asked, "Savannah, you here?"

"Of course, my dear." Aliya replied. Kripa was bewildered and wondered, how do they know each other?

Aliya reading the concern and confusion on Kripa's face, quickly replied, "She is my first cousin from my mom's side."

Kripa's mouth fell open. Damn! Wow, her future sister-in-law was related to her best friend…what else is left for her to be shocked about…and then she remember a quick fact that Savannah had told her as she saw Angad heading towards Aliya, Savannah, and her. God! Damn it. Wasn't Savannah Angad's first cousin from Savannah's dad's side? Shoot. Well, at least Aliya and Angad weren't related.

She wheeled on her heels as she heard someone called her name, "Kripa!" she turned, and she saw Prithiv.

"Bhai." She acknowledged, and gave an annoyed, but forced smile on her lips. Angad thought she looked like the perfect innocent teenager.

"Hi, Savannah. Haven't seen you in a long time! How's it going?" asked Angad with a hint of concern in his voice. Of course, he knew exactly where this little cousin sister had been going of his, after all, Savannah was the only sister-like figure he had….so far.

"I'm doing great, Bhai," replied Savannah with a hint of mockery. She knew Angad had always been a protective cousin brother and that he would ask for quarterly reports on her doings through out the year.

"That's wonderful. Hey Aliya, honey, what's up?" asked Angad in the flirtiest tone he could manage, Aliya being the only daughter, of the General of Kildera's Army, Angad had met her on many occasions and they had share a wonderful, lively friendship.

"The ceiling, sweetheart," replied Aliya has her eyes sparkled with humor.

"Hey, Angad, my man, this is my fiance your talking to, limit the flirting," injected prithiv as if he were sharing a inside joke with Angad. Angad merely rolled his eyes and said, "Whatever, she's all yours. You can have her."

As Savannah, Kripa, Aliya, and Prithiv were talking, Angad noticed Krishelle standing all alone, so he indicated for her come and join them.


Krishelle walked over, celestially, and joined them, Angad asked Aliya and Savanna, "Hey, guys, remember Daniel? This is his sister, Krishelle."

"No way!" Both Savannah and Aliya said at the same time. Krishelle gave a smile which would glow through out the night in the men's heart.

"Yikes, Daniel, that dhankan, hasn't talked to me in forever. I'm going to murder him," said Savannah.

It was common knowledge to Kripa and Aliya that Daniel and Savannah liked each other, a lot…ever since they were kids or should I say teens.

As Aliya was bugging Savannah to fill her in about Daniel and her and Angad teasing and joking around with Prithiv. Kripa and Krishelle held a friendly conversation, they were good friends.

Krishelle didn't even bother hearing what Savannah had to say. She of course, being close to her brother knew everything that Savannah would reveal.

Something caught the corner of Krishelle's eyes, wow, she had never seen a fitter man in her life, he had wonderful bronze skin tone, and he was wearing a coal black suit with a white shirt and green, plain tie. Kripa looked at Krishelle, and noticed her staring at some guy that happened to be Aliya's brother, Josh Seta.

If Kripa were to rate Aliya's brother, she would give him a 6 out 10. He was not that bad, but Angad in her opinion was an 11 out 10...he was off the scale.

Aliya's brother came right between Krishelle and Angad, his hand was on Angad's shoulder and said in a deep voice, "Hey, Angad we have a code red."

"Where's the splatter?" injected Prithiv, "Downtown," answered the unknown man.

"Damn it," Angad cursed under his breath. "Josh, where's Daniel at?"inquired Angad. Ohh...So this man's name was Josh thought Krishelle.

"Angad, Prithiv, Josh, we have to move, they are planning to splatter the painting." said Daniel franticly.

What! Both Prithiv and Josh shrieked. Thank god there was a LOUD band playing.

"Honey, Josh Bhai, what's going on?" questioned Aliya innocently to Josh and Prithiv. They group of eight began to close in.
